great hotel with friendly staff”
having visited kiama many times over the years - but only for a day at a time - we decided to spend a few days down there with my ovreseas girlfriend, the kiama shores motel was a great place to base ourselves, the rooms were very modern - very clean and comfortable , after a long days drive the nights sleep was very welcome. if your after a beer or a bite to eat , numerous places are only a short walk away , if you like your thai food - you wont be short of places to eat.

Great place to stay”
My stay there was great had no problems in finding the place from the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful in directions as it was the first time I had been to kiama and didn't know the area. The room I stayed in was quiet roomy, clean and the pool area and grounds were all tidy and clean. For the price it is what I would expect for a hotel.

Great location, clean and new”
Great location, 2 mins walk to market and village. There is a Thai restaurant next door - delicious and not spicy. 2 mins walk to playground. Good for family with young children. Room is spacious and clean. Staff are friendly. I will definitely book here when I go Kiama again.

Very pleasant stay. The staff were very nice a helpfully as well.”
The value is on par with the rest of Kiama. It is beautiful seaside town and accomodation costs reflect this. The Kiama sures is walking distance to almost all the attractions and eateries in town.

Above expectations, rooms were spacious and clean. Had free parking for hotel guests as well. Most of the shops, cafes and restaurants were just a street down, with the Kiama blowhole a mere 10mins walk. Great location.

Above average”
The unit I occupied at Kiama Shores was a beautifully-presented and spacious second floor balcony unit in the delightful, historic old seaside town of Kiama, an hour south of Sydney. Everything was immaculately clean, and the bed could not have been more comfortable. The only staff I saw were behind the counter at reception when I arrived and departed, They were courteous and efficient in all respects. But for the price I paid, I would have expected facilities in which more attention had been paid to detail, particularly in the areas of ergonomic design and availability of staff. For example, the facilities offered in the unit were utterly basic: coffee, tea, sugar, milk, hot water, fridge. Not even a biscuit for a weary traveller to enjoy on his arrival, or a microwave to enjoy a hot snack. The balcony was utterly non-private, with only a wooden lattice separating it from adjacent balconies; privacy was non-existent. The spacious bathroom offered the normal facilities one would expect, but sitting on the toilet was extremely cramped, and the toilet roll holder was out of sight behind the user. With all the floor space in the bathroom, surely there could have been a bit more space round the loo?The bathroom had an inbuilt safety hazard too: entering it in the dark, one could (and did) stub one's bare toe on the 1-cm raised floor tile level. What on earth was that put there for? Bathroom floors should be lower than their surrounds, not higher. The window-type aircon was (uniquely in my experience) mounted at floor level; hardly the best for air circulation. Given that the excellent mini-bar menu was only available from reception, and that reception was only open for extremely limited hours, the mini-bar menu was no use to this potential user. All these design and managerial deficiencies really grated with this guest, from the point of view of value for money. I have enjoyed many better-designed systems and facilities in country area motels for half the price.

We visited Kiama simply to check it out as a future holiday location. Everything about the motel was convenient and comfortable. The free wifi was a bonus. Very good value for money.

lovely hotel and service with a smile”
i really enjoyed the stay during low holiday season, the whole town is so quite and peaceful, having breakfast and tea at the balcony was absolutely relaxing at all time of the day and night, the sunrise and ocean view is a bonus from balcony facing the main road at the front. room is very specious and so is the toilet with both spa bath and shower. big tv in room, as there are not much night activities at night at kiama, watching dvds to stay in after some local dining was delightful.

An absolute gem on the reception desk! ”
Had a great one night stay here. Was perfect location to explore the area even on a rainy day. Motel was nice and clean and quiet during our stay. Easy to find and easy parking. There's a pool an bbq for hot days. The girl on reception...really sorry I can't remember your name (maybe Elena?) Anyway you're fantastic, thank you for the warm welcome and being so upbeat and helpful. Really nice of you to show us photos of where to go and recommend places to eat for fussy gluten free types! Being greeted by someone like you turns an average stay into a great one. Overall a really good motel!

Girls weekend away”
My friends and I came down for an overnight stay to relax, we found the hotel comfortable and within walking distance to the shops and beach. Reception staff could have been more helpful when directing us to our room I think they were more interested in conversing with each other at the time however they were pleasant and not rude. The room was very clean and comfortable for the three of us. Will go back again.

Basic hotel but lovely ”
Basic hotel but lovely. I didn't eat in the hotel but I was sick and they let me extend my check out time an hour which was greatly appreciated because the room was booked after me. The hotel really is basic but it's newly renovated and all I needed so great value for money - $100 less a night than others in the town.

Excellent”
The room is nicer the one that face the swimming poll...first time stay we have the room facing swimming pool , its very pleasant, second time we have the room facing the car park.. .. We could not open the window to get fresh air ....Its a bit warm eventhough we stay in winter time... We set the air condition in cool setting for 19 degree ..at night we still felt a bit warm..and this is winter. May be the air conditioning need to be check or up grade... Otherwise its a pleasant stay because of the location and the friendly reception and we could park our car the next day even after we check out..that very generous of the motel management. Thank you. We are not hesitate to recomend this motel to family and friends..but choose room facing the pool. 😊

Dear Meria, Thank you very much for your lovely feedback. We are glad to hear that you had a wonderful stay and enjoyed your time. Sometimes the air conditioner can take a little while to readjust to the temperature it has been set to but we can definitely look into this. We hope to see you again soon. Kind regards Guest services
Excellent Service ”
We stayed there for one night during Easter holiday. The room was very neat and clean. The location was very convenient and close to all restaurants, tourist attractions. The lady at reception was very friendly, she locked up our bags after we checked out so that we can walk around freely. The room wifi was not so good though but my overall experience was amazing.

Comfortable family room”
We booked the family room as it slept 4 people. Room was spacious and was as expected, beds average neither hard or soft. Walking distance of everything (took us 10 minuites to walk slowly to Manning St) . Quite location, room we had was at rear of complex, plenty of off street parking.
