Clean and Cosy”
We took a family room which was spacious. The hotel is very clean, small play area for kids that my kids enjoyed playing. The only down point was the breakfast coupon of NTD. 50 per guest given. On their list the names of the breakfast store was given but one has been shut down. It would be nice to be more clear on their information.

Your kids will love this hotel very much, it's special designed for them. The playground facilities & room design is will make the kids stay playing there for a long period. It's about 15 mins walk to Fu Ling Night Market.

Nice place but no staff”
The rooms are spacious and everything is spotless clean. It is equipped for small kids. The breakfast is in nearby place (you need to turn left and left and it is on the corner) - very good breakfast, but the coupon covers only 1 sendwich with bacon and egg, which will not be enough for a man. What is not nice is that there is no staff and we had to ask via WhatsApp about everything. Where is the breakfast, what's the wifi..forget about getting some travel info. There are self study materials but only in Chinese. But overall, nice place to stay in.

Disappointed”
Given the high average rating of this B&B we were expecting a nice stay. Unfortunately, we were left a bit disappointed. First, upon arrival, we noticed they have no permanent staff. There was a sign on the door with a phone number. Once we reached the owner we had to wait around 20 mins for her to arrive and open the doors for us. No apologies from her. The lack of staff means that we only saw the owners briefly and occasionally a couple of times during our 4 days. They remained quite distant and inattentive to us. Second, the title ”B&B” implies they serve a proper breakfast. But they only gave us daily vouchers to a greasy burger place within a walking distance. The vouchers covered roughly 50% of the cost of a sandwich . The place is otherwise pretty original with teddy bears and kitsch decoration all around. Our room was large and decent, although the bathroom is in a very urgent need of a major renovation. Our kids really enjoyed the large playroom. The location is OK.

We stay here for a night and receive great hospitality from the host, Ms Yang. This is my first trip to Hualien with family and Ms Yang is very friendly and helpful that she brief us a lot information to get around and explained clearly to us the foods and attractions around in Hualien. She also provide us foodmap/guide which full in details around Kimoge which make it easier for us to get around the city. We were so impressed on the rooms as it is way above our expectation that the room is so spacious, clean and with spacious toilet and power showers. What make Kimoge more unique that each of the room have different theme and all of them are decorated beautifully and every corner of the homestay is well decorated and designed. The homestay is well equipped with facilities such as washing machines and hair dryers. There is a small play area for kids and both of my nephew love it so much that they were enjoying play there. The location of the homestay is excellent where the 7-eleven and family mart is just around the corner which less than a minute of walk and the breakfast provided is so delicious. We would like to say thank you to Ms Yang again because my nephew left the phone at the homestay and Ms Yang help us to courier and post the phone to us immediately on the next day. She is so helpful and kind and we really appreciate with her kindness. Highly recommended to stay here if you travel in Hualien ! Definitely you will feel amaze to stay in Kimoge !

Friendly owner. Good location. Afforable.”
Kimoge is the first B&B that I have stayed. it was beautifully decorated with a teddy theme. There are a total of 4 rooms with different bed sizes. the B&B is very clean that you can almost walk barefoot. there are bedroom slippers provided at the ground floor for the guests too. (no shoes/slippers upstairs) Ms Yang, the B&B owner is very friendly, she took an effort to sit down with us to recommend the good stuff in Hualien. She also came to the B&B early so that I can deposit my luggage there. The stay comes with breakfast, in a form of vouchers to purchase from the breakfast stall behind the hotel. the hotel was 5 mins away by car from the Hualien Train Station. and about 10 mins walk to the Hualien Triangle where you can find many food stalls & Rainbow night market. I have cut short my stay due to schedule and the owner drives us to the station as we need to catch the train. I have lost my mobile in Hualien due to the rush. when I text the B&B owner, Ms Yang help me unconditionally and Ms Yang also made an afford to travel to Taipei so that I can have my lost mobile back. I am very touch with the kindness of Taiwanese, especially Ms Yang and husband. Will definitely recommend and will be back to stay at Kimoge or their new B&B.

Awesome Place”
I truly love this place!! The rooms are so well designed and the deco are beautifully done. They have a play area for the kids. Washing machine & dryer can be found as well. The host of this place is very informative, providing details of where we can have great food. We were also given snack voucher to try out the best snack in Hualien. Forgotten the name of the snack but it was super delicious. Breakfast voucher for local breakfast is nearby the hotel as well. Should I ever visit Hualien again, I would definitely choose this place without any hesitation.

Locate near Hualien Train Station (around 100TWD taxi) I booked for a family room and the room design with facilities are very lovely. The host lady is nice with us, she provided alot of useful information. There are washing & drying machine there, with fee of course :) I will comeback to this hotel definitely if i have chance to back to Hualien

Such a hidden gem in Downtown Hualien!”
We expected Kimoge as an usual hostel like we usually have elsewhere - but we were wrong. It's superb! The host was very friendly and helpful. He gave us many local gourmet recommendations, all of which turned out to be great. The room was new, spacious and decorated nicely. Since we were the only guests for the two nights we stayed, we pretty much owned the whole house! (The host does not stay here at night.) Upon our departure, we also received souvenirs from the host. I will recommend to anyone who doesn't mind teddy bear theme (which, my girlfriend of course really liked...)

Thank you for your help during our stay in Hualien. The property is like a homestay with large, cozy and convenient room. They dont have 24hrs receiption so you have to contact with the host before arrival to be informed how to enter the house. But believe me, it really worth to stay here. I really love it

The location of Kimoge is very good, in the city and easy to go the night market. The hoster is super nice and provides a lot of good recommendations to us. She also gives some toys and drawings for my kids. The great valve!

Lovely stay at Kimoge B&B. Great location, and so near to the famous "葱油饼". My brother noticed that his wallet was left behind after we checked out and left HuaLian. The wallet was found fortunately. The friendly owner returned it to us via post to Taipei the next day in a cute box with chocopie :) Thank you so much for posting the wallet before we leave Taiwan. Your thoughtfulness will never be forgotten. Thanks again!

Kimoge is exactly like the pictures they advertised online. It was heavily decorated with country antiques with a hobo slant. My children loved it. The hosts were nice and helpful.

A night stay in Kimoge BB”
We went to the wrong hotel next door whose Logo looks similar and Kimoge's front shop displays watches and jewelries which misled us. The room allocated to us was on the 3rd floor and we have to carry our luggage along the narrow stairs. The housekeeper was friendly and helped us with our luggage. This place is not suitable for aged or those with weak limps/joint pain. The place is however nicely decorated like a cottage, apart frpm the ground floor shop. The hotel is located within places of interest and lots of local eateries. Coupons are provided for breakfast at the nearby store.

Really friendly welcome, great location right in the centre of town, and the room was really cosy, with an eclectic mix of styles. Really enjoyed our stay here. We all had a fantastic night's sleep.
