Very nice hotel with spacious room + dinner food/ breakfast ”
Was staying here for 1 night as a trial accommodation in Kaohsiung city. I heard that kindness hotel offers dinner food/ disserts and broad variety of breakfast - and that is real ! Hot food was suppied til 10pm with disserts/biscuits and ice cream bar ~ breakfast is also good too. Hotel staff is not very friendly and that's the only point requires improvement.

Koahsiung is a nice place to chill and relax.”
It is a very comfotable to stay in! We are often recieved with very warm welcome by the staff at any point of time throughout the day, even at late night when you return from a long day out shopping. They have very good customer service, and their staff are very friendly. There is also food available throughout the day. From breakfast, till dim sum at 5pm as well as ice cream and cakes whole day. Bicycles are available for rent too, at no cost! We cycled to nearby streets for supper and massage - they even have a map to show you bike parking areas for certain malls or shopping streets! Hotel staff offer to arrange cab to the airport for us, and we do not have to pay additional fees to the hotel, the usual cab fare was all that we have to cover, approx 250 TWD from hotel to airport. It is a nice place to live in! I enjoyed the stay at Kindness Hotel Xin Jue Jiang! Oh! If you require internet connection, they have free wi-fi in the rooms as well as a few computers at the lobby available for use !

Best hotel ever had in Taiwan”
Didn't expect much from a business hotel at such a low price but I was really amazed and satisfied with the service of the hotel staff. A 90 degree bow each time they see us and always attentive and helpful. Spent a night in the standard room, pretty small but just nice for 1-2 person. Changed my standard room to a family room for 4 and the room costs only NT3600, but the size of the room was big enough for 6 people! 2 king size bed and a sofa, with 2 plasma tvs! The toilet was huge and have shampoo, bath and conditioner for male and female separately! Great location, just cross over to the next side of the street and it is the xin jue jiang shopping district. Less than 5 mins walk to the train station and a few stations away from the airport. Overall, I have no complaint and am a happy and satisfied customer:)

the hotel itself is not hard too find, 10 min walk from central park station, and it is located within 5 min walk to the shopping district of xin jue jiang, which in my opinion is similar to ximending in taipei. furthermore, the staff provide very good services. i totally enjoy my staff here and will stay here again if i visit kao siung in the future

Nice hotel with great location ”
Stayed in Kindness Hotel Xin Jue Jiang for one night in Kaohsiung with the intention to do some shopping and Kindness Hotel was perfect for that purpose as Xin Jue Jiang shopping district was almost at the hotel's doorsteps, across the road. Rooms were clean and spacious and free wifi was provided. The bathroom was especially spacious, almost twice the size of some of the bathrooms in the hotels we stayed.

Room is clean and the staff are very friendly. They provide free laundry service and bicycle rental too. It is about 5 mins walk to the nearest MRT and the famous xin jue jiang shopping district. Convenience store is just around the corner. Overall,it was a great hotel, comfy room with great touch of service.

Highly recommended”
This is my 4th stay here, 1st time as a solo traveler. I will continue to stay here because the price is really reasonable, love the location (near to train station and shopping district), love the staffs (ever so helpful and friendly), love the bath tub, love the spacious room, love the breakfast (though small selection but satisfying enough for me). There's nothing I dislike about this hotel and the only one I will stay at when in Kaohsiung.

Good choice for budget travellers”
Pros: Near the xinjuejiang shopping district. Decent breakfast selection and provision of night snacks such as buns, tea leaf eggs, porridge and ice cream. Staff is polite. Cons: One of the two rooms I booked has a strong cigarette smell. Resulted in my family having to move to the highest level. However, the lift only reached to the second highest level and we have to lug our luggage up one level. Chose this hotel as it provides washer and dryer facilities but there is only one washer and dryer resulting in a long queue. Dryer also does not dry the clothes well at all. In the end I have to bring all my clothes to a nearby 24hr facility to do it. Overall: there are better alternatives in Kaohsiung.

Out of all the hotels/hostels in my 13 day TW trip, this one gave me the best value for what I paid.”
Kindness hotel provides the best value for money if you are a couple looking for a nice room to stay plus meals. The place is conveniently located near Central park Station. The rooms were splendid for what I paid - lighting was great and the toilet was awesome - bathtubs, and a very nice swanky shower. Foodwise, the dining area was open at night when I checked in - their Taro porridge was very, very tasty. Other food served included meat buns, ice cream, and coffee/tea (all self service). Breakfast: a very decent range - chicken, pork, eggs and carrot cake (cooked upon ordering), vegetables, congee, garlic bread, bread etc etc - my only gripe was that the taro porridge was not served for breakfast that day. Amenities wise, laundry is free, wifi is free, and you can also borrow bicycles to cycle around. We also asked for an extra blanket and got it really quickly. Service-wise - the staff are all very polite! However do note the rooms do not have Single Beds - all are queen beds.

Nice chic hotel”
Kindness Hotel is a hotel with excellent design. They make use of every inch to cater for the travellers. They also know what the travellers want. For example, on top of free laundry, they provide washing powder and laundry bags. In all the motels in North America, guests have to put coins for laundry machines and washing powder. I also appreciate the varieties of breakfast. Throughout the day, we can have a cup of tea or coffee in the lobby. They also provide free ice-cream 24 hours. They tell the guests the ice-cream taste more delicious if we dip it with provided corn flakes. The front desk girl was very helpful too. I am very poor with Mandarin and she called the travel agent for me. All I can say is that the hotel is highly recommended. All I can say is that they provided

Fantastic hotel with great service!”
Love the huge Deluxe Double room. They serve good quality breakfast and they also provide snacks after 5PM. The snacks include tea-leaf eggs, pastries, ice cream, juices, coffee and tea. The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. Whenever I have a request, they will try their best to help me. I had a fantastic stay with them I would definitely return to this hotel in my next visit to Kaohsiung.

One of the best values in Kaohsiung”
I have stayed here a number of times. The rooms are clean, bright, and comfortable. There is on-site parking in the back available for about 15 cars. The breakfast is above average, and they have free drinks and snacks available in the evenings from 8-10:30 in their cafeteria. The staff is not super friendly or helpful, but that's not that important to me, and they are really never rude, just not very cordial. This is my go-to place when I stay in Kaohsiung.

Hotel with most impressive customer service”
The excellent customer service given by the staff and Director Vicky Chiu made this the most memorable stay we've ever had in a 3-star hotel. They are able to perceive and look into little but meaningful needs for their guests. And this level of service is provided by a very small, efficient and effective staff force that is on duty. They are indeed amazing. This makes us think Kindness all the way, all the time.
