Mini Oasis in Siem Reap”
Me and my boyfriend had an amazing 4days 3nights stay in King Rock Boutique during our maiden trip to Siem Reap on 5th May 2016. We highly recommend this place for comfortable and value for money boutique hotel. Great location. There is a convenient store and pizza joint next door. It is only 5 mins walk to Night market and Pub street. Along the way there are many local restaurants ie Damak maes. Do try Khmer grill coffee and bakery restaurant at the junction. Green pepper steak and grilled frogs were nyummy! Our flight from Malaysia arrived at 850am and we requested for early check-in (subject to availibility) which we were lucky as there was room available. Upon arrival, we were greeted with lovely staff (her name was Chi - a petite sweet young lady, if i remember correctly). Cold welcome drink was served to quench our thirst while registration was done promptly and we were guided to our lemon grass scent infused room. We then decided to upgrade to Deluxe Suite Room 001 overlooking the pool. Fantastic room and spacious clean toilet. AC was good and strong. Not too chilly and definitely not warm. I am very particular with the cleanliness of toilet and King Rock's toilet was above satisfactory for the price we paid. Love the shower head and cemented bath tub. I appreciate it that the toilet bowl was separated by a small wall, otherwise the toilet will be wet each time we take a shower. Water pressure was good. Breakfast by the pool was perfect! Not buffet style. We pick 2 choices per person from the menu. I recommend the Asian menu. Must try the fried pork noodle, soup noodle and chicken fried rice. Pool - refreshing in the hot weather. MUST try all their cocktails. They have a good mixologist at the pool bar. We tried all the angkor cocktail selections and love Angkor sunrise the most. We also ordered Mango Margarita (specially requested) We had a minor hiccup whereby a taxi we booked the day before did not turn up for our Angkor Wat sunrise visit at 4

Marvelous”
Me and my wife stayed there for 4 days 3 nights, the hotel was beyond our expectation...really value for money...staff are helpful and friendly...we stayed in their grand suite room with bath tub outside...my wife love it so much....very quiet and peaceful....however at night we got visitors outside the room near the bathtub...a green coloured snake....took some photo and just let it slip quietly......the hotel is a real bargain...walking distance to night market and pub street...but no worries if lazy to walk...tuk tuk are ready available outside the hotel door...overall i give 2 THUMBS UP!!!! Bravo KING ROCK BOUTIQUE...You really ROCK!! p/s: Siem Reap is really a good place to visit....will sure returned!!

Hotel with loads of character and charm”
My friends and I visited Siem Reap in early July. We wanted a boutique hotel that is not directly located on the touristy pub street and markets but still a stone's throw. We also veered away from hotels that looked institutional. King Rock is all of that and more. It's got beautiful, serene interiors, character to spare, a unique architectural layout, the gentlest hotel staff I have every encountered, excellent free breakfast catered by Hard Rock Cafe, and tasteful and spacious rooms. We came during low season and availed of an incredible discount. I will definitely book at this hotel on my next visit.

Rock On!”
King Rock is a gem. It's tucked away a few blocks from Pub Street on a gritty back road - you wouldn't know it was there if you weren't looking for it, but once you enter, it's a world unto itself. The staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need, and they are exceedingly friendly and professional. The rooms are secure, spacious, and quite nicely appointed, with A/C and boutique charm. Ground floor rooms have patios (my first room actually had a small private yard) with table and chairs. The upper rooms have balconies with table and chairs. Rooms have stone floors, rattan mats, large bathrooms with granite tub and open design stone shower. Once the AC is on, any residual stuffiness dissipates quickly. It's quiet, the beds are large and comfy, and I slept better here than I do at home. The courtyard contains a nice saltwater pool with chaise lounges and poolside menu/cocktail service, and a patio with a small but well-stocked bar. The staff keeps a good eye on the premises and the rooms are equipped with safes. There are a couple of excellent fluff 'n fold laundries close by. Would most definitely stay here again next time I'm in Siem Reap.

Exceptional”
Very centrally located and near to shopping ateas. Courteous and helpful staff. The hotel has a tuk-tuk service which is great. They do airport pick up and drop off. I was pleasantly surprised when a senior member of the staff came to the airport to receive me. He also brought a chilled tender coconut!!!! The hotel's tuk-tuk driver knows all the historical places. It is the best way to travel in Siem Reap. Staff were helpful in giving information. Very prrsonalised care. Worth the money and I will strongly recommend King Rock boutique. Arasan

Best stay!”
The staff at King Rock Boutique has gone over and beyond the extra mile to make me feel welcome and relaxed. Even before I arrived in Siem Reap, they made it easy to make arrangements. During my stay, they were very helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Bathrooms are the same. The location is very good because there are a lot of pretty good restaurants within walking distance. And it's not too far a walk to pub Street. When I got home, I left something in the hotel and the staff has been helpful in making arrangements to return it to me. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend.

Great Stay”
From the pick up from the airport my time at King Rock was great. Mr So and his staff were awesome nothing was too hard and they were all so friendly enquiring into how my day was going,if I needed help with anything or if I needed any information on Siem Reap The room was very spacious with everything I needed. The bed was so soft and the pillows were just perfect. The shower was great and the room cleaner did a terrific job Breakfast was a good way to start the day and had everything to get you to lunch I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for your stay in Siem Reap and I will probably be booking in for Christmas this year 👍

Perfect base for exploring west Cambodia”
We were totally satisfied with our stay. Everything was perfect - the location very close to everything but away from the crowds and noise, very nice and helpful staff, comfortable room with all amenities, tasty breakfast and nice swimming pool. King Rock Boutique Hotel is the perfect base for exploring the temples and the city of Siem Reap. One week was not enough to enjoy the wonders of Cambodia and hospitality of Khmers. We fully recommend it!

Super adorable hotel!!!”
The best hotel near the center but away from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap! Lovely breakfast! The staff are super nice. The room we stayed in was beautiful, spacious and relaxing. The pool area was great with all these lovely plants surrounding. Our hot water in the shower wasn't as consistent but we didn't mind so much. The aircon didnt work properly for the night but they moved us to another room for the night and they fixed it immediately in the morning so we were back to our original room. the value of the honeymoon suite was really good! such a cute boutique hotel! We will come back soon!

Dear Sivansak, Greeting from King Rock Thanks for all thing that you have been appreciated to our property and our team, and all hope to see you soon and welcome back here again, we all wish you succeed what you you wish. Best regard, Mr. Nhik Vannak Operation Manager
Amazing place !”
the hotel is super cute and rooms are clean and spacious. the balcony was cozy - make sure you have mosquito repellant as they are all over the place but that doesn't have anything to do with the hotel. There's great breakfast and they organized all our tours without charging extra and mailed my postcards for me as well. the tuk tuk driver wore the hotel shirt and was really nice and professional the whole time and really took care of us. It's not the Hilton Las Vegas but for Siem Reap, Cambodia, this is just top notch and more than I expected. They paid attention to details..... Service was AMAZING. they truly care about your experience and take pride in their work. We felt really important and appreciated as guests and the warmth from the staff was really nice. The pool was amazing as the photos show, although they were working on the awning so that was a little annoying but only for 1 day.... they worked really fast ! Honestly we had such a great experience, I would come back !

Best Holiday Ever”
We arrived in Siem Reap airport and were greeted by Tiffany from the hotel. She made us feel at home straight away and arranged all our tours for us. There was so much to do apart from obviously the temples which were fascinating. Sun rise tours, sun set tours, waterfall adventures and the boys loved the quad biking through the villages and paddy fields! Thanks to Tiffany who help us with the lovely upgrade on our rooms and even got suites. The food at the hotel was good especially the breakfast. Everybody loved the King Rock fried rice. We snacked on pizzas from down the road but don't try the Thai food next door. Location was pretty good and walking distance from pub street. The kids loved the mini mart next door and the owner was super friendly. Great job to Tiffany and your friendly staff at King Rock, many thanks for your hospitality and a great holiday !!!

Brilliant Stay!”
It was our first time in Cambodia and if we ever come to Siem Reap again we will stay here! This cute little boutique hotel has lovely rooms that are spacey and cleaned every day. The bathroom was huge! There was even a bath. The pool is good and clean, the bar by the pool serves excellent cocktails. We had breakfast at the hotel as it was included, you order of the menu and it is made fresh, much better than a buffet staying out in the sun. The food was delicious and the staff made the stay for us. They could not do more or be more accommodating, they even picked us up and dropped us back to the airport via their own tuk tuk.

Efficient staff”
The staff was efficient and flexible in all aspects. They answered all my queries and had no problem with communication. When my friends arrived early morning and they had to join me taking breakfast, the hotel charged them the hotel rate for breakfast so we could all have the time together. They also helped me print my trip itinerary going back from Siem Reap to BKK. I find the location quite interesting because it is in front of a primary school. You could have a serene and relaxing time inside your booked room and in the morning, if you walk a few steps to the staircase or open area at the 2nd floor, you will find a typical school scenario , kids riding their bikes hurrying to join the opening school ceremony. Makes someone appreciate a different culture especially if you are a foreigner in the land, more beautiful than the sunrise.

One of the best hotel I ever stayed!!”
The whole experience from the start till the end of our trip was magnificent. Firstly once when we touched down at the airport arrival hall it was a friendly welcome from the hotel staff until we stepped into the hotel lobby. After it was a clear introduction from staff to our honeymoon suite. It was a pleasure stay in the resort during the 4 days trip. Location was great as from hotel to the attraction main street - The Pub Street is within walking distance. Many nice restaurant nearby and the food was great (except the raining weather). On the experience in the suite, it was great experience with good ambiance, big room and relaxing area. Hotel also provided free breakfast and it is nice. Would love to come back to stay in the resort if to visit Siem Reap again. Thanks for the great hospitality!

Nice Hotel”
Nice small boutique hotel within walking distance of all the action in Siem Reap. The staff was generally very helpful and recommended a good tour to Angkor Wat. Only a couple things I didn't like....i was in a second building with porches that looked out on the stairwell....not very good for privacy or any kind of view. The other building has pool views. I asked the staff about a good place to get my laundry done in town. He wouldn't give me a recommendation since the hotel offers laundry services. I had 3 kg of laundry and wanted a cheaper service. I ended up walking all over to find a good service. I later found one near the hotel. I wish the staff had been willing to help me out!

We would definitely stay here again”
The most important thing when we travel is cleanliness, location and value for money. This place scored top on all three factors and to top it off, the staff were excellent! We also loved the spacious stone bath and the nice touch of lemongrass scented oil burners. Breakfast was included during our stay, which is ideal for travelers who have to leave early for tours or temple visits. During the day and evening, the bar staff will gladly whip you up some cocktails featured on their menu, or a bespoke drink if you so wished, and you can enjoy your drinks whilst chilling by the poolside or engage in conversation with the excellent hotel staff and get to know the local culture better. Tuk-tuks are aplenty outside the hotel and if required the excellent staff on hand will hail one for you. If you so wished to walk, the old Siem Reap Market and Pub Street is only a short distance away, where you can sample an abundance of Khmer local delights, pop-up coffee stalls and do not forget to try the almond croissant at the Blue Pumpkin in town. We particularly like Khmer Grill which is at the corner of the road leading to the hotel from town, and were thankful that there was a convenience store just 2 doors away from the hotel where we could get our phone SIM and other basics.

Trip worth remembering ”
We had a great time staying at King Rock Boutique Hotel. To begin with, our room was upgraded to our surprise. (thank you so much! :)) Its staff are very courteous, kind and accommodating. Our day always starts with warm greetings and sumptuous breakfast and ends with sincere "How was your tour?" But of course, they had an equally efficient and kind tuktok driver Sany who patiently answered our queries on almost everything that tickles our curiosity all through out our four-day tour. We will definitely recommend this hotel and Sany to our friends and relatives. Thank you so much for making our first-time vacation in Cambodia trully an experience to remember. We have nothing but happy memories.. We did not just gain knowledge about your country's history and culture, we also gained friends.. for that, aw-koon ch'ran' :)

Brilliant service and good, quiet location”
King Rock boutique is a gem of a place and it justifies the price of the hotel. the location is about 10 mins away from pub street by foot, so you are definitely away from the shenanigans that will keep you up at night. I am also pleased by the services that the hotel staff provided, with a high level of attention to detail. everything can be arranged quickly and smoothly. the suite itself was perfect for a couple. I like the balcony overlooking the pool and the ceramic bath tub. bed was equally cozy as well. King rock boutique's location is a perfect combination for the following - spend the day visiting Angkor Wat, head back to wash up, had a foot and body massage, followed by dinner in the restaurant with delicious food and start from 3.50 US$ special menu. We will return and recommends your place....
