This pocket-friendly hotel is strategically located close to the Brent Cross underground tube station, making all the trips to famous tourist attractions and the city center quick and easy. Sitting next to the Golders Green, guests will find a wide selection of restaurants, chic cafes, bars, as well as shops. Since Golders Green is a home to a Jewish community, there are many kosher restaurants within a short reach. While Brent Cross Shopping Center is a few minutes away, the Wembley Stadium is only a few bus stops from the hotel. An excellent location along with great facilities makes King Solomon Hotel perfect for both business trips and leisure breaks.

Not good”
Room smelled like mold and the walls were so thin I could hear everybody’s voice and movement. The mattresses were quite uncomfortable and the shades fell off the window at one point. The hallways were gross and stains were everywhere.
Very good”
Takes roughly 30 mins in total from the hotel into central London, which was really good. Two tube stations nearby, Brent Cross was around 5/10 min walk, Golders Green about 10/15 min walk. Lots of restaurants/takeaways nearby also. Plus tesco express nearby. The room was clean and cosy.
Place to put your head down”
Shower head broken,, hotter than hell , limited electrical
great neighbourhood”
the location is a bit far from the metro (ard 10 minutes walk) the metro is golders green station and is northern line. it takes around 15 minutes to get to the leicester square (the city centre), just for the metro. the neighbourhood is rather noisy at night as I live on the second flr and with windows open, I can hear the chattering on the street but not big deal if you close the window. many nice restaurants are nearby and many supermarkets and convenient stores as well. some stuff are quite helpful.
Very good”
Friendly staff good location for getting into central London. Good room, sadly let down by the noise. Was woken at 5.30am by people arguing in the next room who then chatted loudly for hours keeping me awake.
Uncomfortably hot!!!!!”
The hotel itself looks very tired from the outside. The room itself wasn’t so bad considering it is a budget hotel, however it was impossible to sleep as the radiator was on full and the caps had been removed so we were unable to turn the temperature down. I ended up going down to reception at 2am to tell them the heat was unbearable, even with the windows open. The gentleman wasn’t very helpful and told us there wasn’t anything they could do. They did however provide us with extra pillows and an iron which we requested. The breakfast that was included in the price was nice and it wasn’t too far away from the underground.
Acceptable”
The bed was small and had a dip in it which made it very uncomfortable. The room was also freezing and there was no way of switching the heating on in the room. There was no phone in the room to easily call reception in the middle of the night either to ask them to switch on the heating. I left without sleeping & with a cold. The hotel would not make a refund for this.
Nice hotel near plenty of shops and near tube off road parking ”
Breakfast is limited in options and being inside a Jewish quarter don’t expect and pork items on the breakfast menu which some guest may think of when breakfast is included
Attending a gig.”
Pros: Staff were pleasant, rooms were good. Cons: Under bed wasn’t clean and breakfast was vegetarian only.
Acceptable”
Old hotel, no AC, No elevator and stairs are very steep, nobody helps you to carry suitecases up or down, no fridge, small rooms, walls are like paper and you can hear everything, staff not nice at all, last time for me ever in this hotel !!
King Solomon Hotel”
Terrible, the tv wasn't working Staff was very unhelpful There wasn't any shampoo at the time of arrival! The room that I booked online didn't seem like the one I got! Food Totally not worth the stay! No one should waste their money for anything like this
Not the greatest hotel, booked a double but got a single”
Booked a double room but got a single room. No lift available, just a labyrinth of halls and stairs. Got to room but keycard didn’t work so I had to go back to Reception for a new one. Room was very small and too hot, couldn’t sleep first night, had to have window wide open to be able to sleep on second night due to being to hot, couldn’t adjust the heater on the wall as knob on heater was missing. Bed was ok, but pillow was very flat, no extra pillow supplied. Bathroom was good. Breakfast was basic, cereal, cold boiled eggs, sliced tomatoes, chopped up boiled eggs, a dish that looked like tuna & corn, but no fruit or hot food only things hot was the coffee and toast (no gluten free bread or brown bread as an option), was rudely told at 10 minutes to 10am that breakfast was finished and that I had to get out, so I quickly started to eat my toast and then she apologised and said that I could finish my toast, which I didn’t because I didn’t want to be there anymore so I quickly left.
Not recommended . for same price pick other choices ”
Rooms are weirdly configured and situated - it’s almost as a prison and clearly a fire hazard waiting to happen No good sleep possible - exhaust in neighbor can be like a construction zone - very hard to sleep unless one is totally drunk and don’t care No wi-fi even when they ask money, no connection , No supports such as adapters to charge even on buying basis Very Jewish neighourhood and as in any Jewish or Muslim area religious symbols are everywhere Hotel in fact reminded me of 80s pre tech era
Ok, you get what you payfor”
I have to admit that I agree with what other people have said about the photos being misleading. The photos make the hotel look sparkly, plush and modern. Now having actually stayed there in reality the hotel is in need of cosmetic repair on the outside and the inside. The hotel does have a distincitive odour about it. The corridors are shabby and the carpets are dirty. Our bedroom had damp in the corner and the window frames were dirty, and the carpet in the bedroom was dirty. Having breakfast was weird as the were two female members of staff that were in the room and theywere just standing together not in uniform just chatting and looking at guests, I found this quite uncomfortable to be honest. I would rather stay up the road in a hotel chain for the same price with cleaner rooms and more welcoming staff. One plus point the shower was ok.
Awfull”
So many things were wrong during our stay in this ‘hotel’. When we arrived it was very cold in the room. At the reception desk they sais they were sorry, but the heating was out of order. Many hours later they brought us a heater. There was a bath in the room, but no plug, so we couldn’t fill it. On the wall was a thing where the hairdryer should be in, but it was missing. There was a television in the room, but no remote controle, so we couldn’t change programs. When we asked for the missing items, the girl at the reception became rude. The breakfast was very simple. For instance, there wasn’t any fruit. It was every day the same. In the middel of the first night people were shouting at our door. When we. Om
