Location is near many eateries. 2 minutes to metro station but the route is very obscure. ”
Shampoo provided was in sachet form. The room was huge for the price I paid. Air con is cool for the hot summer. Overall standard of the hotel and the exceptional service from the staff was second to none. I will certainly be staying here again. I would recommend asking hotel staff for metro station direction.

Reasonable size room but do not expect anything great. It's just a simple hotel with approximately 2-3 minutes walk from the metro station. Housekeeping is only upon request. The hotel is great for its location and price.

Very large room, Average Hotel”
Average hotel, very large room with a refrigerator. This hotel is next to a mosque, so you have to expect for prayers starting from 5am everyday and couple of more times during the day. If you don't mind that, its a average good hotel to stay and do shopping, 2 mins walk to a Dubai metro station or 5 mins walk to Dubai Creek Abra ride.

My stay was fine, the room was clean, staff were friendly. Located in the middle of Deira close to Banyas square metro. plenty of local style restaurants near by.

It was awesome. The staff was very coperative n helpfull. Room was neat n clean. Infact they on we checkin about 90min before time and stored our luggage in their store room on check out for 10hours. They didnot charge money for that. Very helpfull staff. i recommend everyone to stay in cityking.

the location is not ideal if you are looking for a quiet place. not ideal for familly. had no wi fi in rooms. had to go to the cafe to use the internet, it was noisy and no privacy. the hotel did not even offer a special price to compensate the fact that there was no wi fi in rooms. bad experience. the food was ok. but not many choices. ideal for wholesalers, retailers, but not for people on holiday...

Decent hotel to help you get by”
Decent hotel where everything works OK. No insects to report, no broken bathrooms.. Pleasant stay if you're looking for a place to sleep and to have a shower with hot water. WiFi speed is average. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. No frills, no fuss. The only inconvenience was that TV channels were stuck - hardly anything to get upset about.

Felt they're not ready to have guests. ”
Our bus to Dubai has delayed so we arrived Hotel in the morning, next day. We said that we want to check-in at that time to take shower. The problem is, Room key is not activated. My friend went to the front, first floor, and brought new key. But it also didn't work. Again, my friend went to the front again. My friend brought a clerk but she just tried the same key a couple of times, and said 'wait a minute' leaving. We, as people who just get there by 9 hours on the bus, were exhausted. She came back and told us that they would prepare another room. The room has stopped clock, plug pulled out phone, and most of all, used towel on the bathroom. We told it to a worker who came to give us new towel, but he just listened and left. It was only 2 hours stay but I was totally unhappy staying here.

Location of the hotel was so complex that even taxi driver was not able to get there. There were no towels in the room. We got the towels on second day. Bed sheet was not clean on first day. One the reception staff was rude.

Pros: Location Cleanliness Ease of access Near to metro Cons: Allocated room had a problem with Air Conditioner reported many times on this but no use cant get proper sleep due to this. No Wifi. The hotel demands there is a free wifi. Took password from the reception but it is not connecting. Reported this directly with my phone. They told they will restart the dongle. Still no use TV. They had a very big TV on the room. But no channels. Finally a faulty and faulty refrigerator. Such a pathetic experience i had on this. Checked out the next day itself and moved to an another hotel.

Found it hard to get a Taxi from this location, Room Clean but out dated furniture and Drapes...Very small Lobby...shortage of Bellman.Staff polite and Proper.
