Above average”
Not much of facilities , when we arrived there the pool was under construction but luckily they were able to finish before we checked out so we had an ample time to enjoy the pool Beach was okay in the morning but not in the afternoon as there were lots of seaweeds The thing we loved the most is their casita, it was big and the ambience was nice. The place was secluded and you'll really enjoy your privacy.

The service is bad. ”
Pros: the beach is nice the room is big Cons: Bad service crew You wont feel you’re paying that much money because the service is bad Room was clean but small aircon for a big room No toiletries The kids playground has animal poop (yuck) Food is too expensive and not good We had lunch outsidecour cabanna then late afternoon we went to bangui and when we came back our left over was still outside, the crew didnt bother to clean it or we felt like we’re not there as their guest. Overall rating, i’ll give a 2/5 star and im definitely not go back or even recommend it to someone. Because I was expecting more.. i drove 500+km just for that poor service.

Facility is old and dingy, moldy, used bar soaps. They don't have individual sized shampoos and soaps. Staff not knowledgeable nor friendly. We checked out after only one night, a day was sooner than our planned checkout but nobody asked why and if we weren't satisfied. There was no other place to eat unless you drive for 30 minutes. The food was not good in their restaurant either.

Nice big room with good aircon. Whilst the staff was a little inexperienced they were always friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a good ambience and varied menu. Visited in May so unfortunately no wind to try kite surfing but there is a nice quiet beach in front of the resort.

Very nice isolated resort with beautiful beach”
I have chosen this resort based on reviews for my first trip to Pagudpud. The rooms are very nice and clean, all amenities work well and staff is well trained. There is nice private beach with enough sunbeds and shade from the trees, though waters are too shallow. It's better to rent a motorbike or have own car to go around, motorbikes available from resort but not very good quality. Overall I definitely recommend this place for a couple retreat. The prices are above average but worth it.

Good”
Amazing beach and the best room was the Premiere room!!! The view, the amenities - all good. The room/s and facilities needed general cleaning though. We tried to use the coffee maker and when we opened it, it still had old coffee in the pot, ground coffee in the grinder - for how long it has been there, I do not want to know. The pool was cloudy. Generally, good spot; we came for the beach and family-time which we got!

could be better”
we arrived at about 9 pm. we were greeted by a single staff and was shown to our rooms. i booked 3 cottages for 12 adulta and a cabana for 4 adults. in total though, we only have 13 adults, but our 12 year old twins are quiet big already ao we counted them as adult. i know that I booked a two double bed for the cottages but was shown one with only one double bed and no ensuite bathroom. apparently, for cottages, it's shared bath. i disputed this coz in Agoda,it showed having ensuite baths. but they dont have those. so i let it go and proceeded to contest to have two double bed in the cottages. the staff - forgot his name - was a bit arrogant and told me that I only booked good for 2 cottages. good thing i printed my confirmation and showed it to him. he didn't want to give us extra beds and insisted that it's because we booked in Agoda that's why we all had these misunderstanding. whatever issue they have with Agoda, we don't care, i clearly booked for 12 adults for 3 cottages. after about 30 minutes, he came back saying he'll give us two rooms with two double beds plus two rooms with one double bed. i am not sure if it's because a weekday, but nobody seems to clean the surroundings. the rubbish bin near our huts were never collected for the 3 nights we were there. the food in the restaurant, apparently were good, though a bit pricey. on our last night, i asked who will be on duty in the early morning as we intend to checkout at about 4 am as we have a long drive ahead. i was told to just leave the keys in the rooms. the swimming pool is too deep but there's no life guard in sight. they have a lot to improve

They caused me trouble and inconvienced! The manager is so rude!..She doesnt show the attitude of being a manager. I have two daughters 4 years old and 2 y/o. They tried to turn off the A/C and Fridge. I told them my youngest daughter only drink fresh milk. And this rude manager said bec. of the entire island have power interruption, and we found out that shes just making that excuses. we went to a nearby resort and said us theres no power interruption. Im totally dissappointed to this said resort! all they give us is trouble and inconvience. You know how far we did travel. and the manager Sarah Chua said she doesnt care how far we travel. Thats why we ended up to a different resort. They should be the one paying us for lying and causing us a lot of inconvienieces! Never again and will recommend this kingfisher resort. Just a waste of time!

A few relaxing days”
A nice place to get away for a few relaxing days. The rooms were nice, we had room 1 in the newer build of 6. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The beach was white quartz with a reef going about a km so nice to snokel (available to hire) and see some small fish (I think the big ones had all been eaten as there was a lot of fishing going on - shame). You could also do kayak and kite surfing. Wish we had longer as i there are some good treking and waterfalls in land.

Holyweek with family”
-No service @ the area For Smart telco subscriber. - staffs are very accomodating - quiet place, good choice if you want an isolation - beach is best for kite surfing indeed and not for swimming purposes - wind is quite strong at all times (even on the hottest sunny day) which is best for kite surfers - Food price at the resto is pricey fine -location is quite far (easy to find if you use waze)

Exceptional”
Normally, the Holy Week is a busy week in the Philippines and you have to expect that most people would be heading out of the Metro. I am satisfied in choosing Kingfisher because it gave us peace and quiet despite the hoards of people in other resorts. The beach is not perfect but it was lovely. Food taste very good as well. We've also enjoyed the service the staff has given. Will definitely come back here. :)

Positive - we have the beach practically on our own - spacious room - we even have a loft where the kids slept. - pool and beach - perfect combination - good food - price is just right (fair) - it’s very peaceful. - the staffs are very helpful. Negative - no internet and phone for smart subscribers. - cash basis only on the restaurant - the closest atm is about 15 minutes drive.

What an amazing location”
This place is just about at the northern-most point of the Philippines. Think windswept, craggy beaches, kite surfing, and just lazing about. They have several friendly dogs who'll come visit & welcome you to the place... and bunny rabbits & guinea pigs that the kids (or bigger kids like me) can pat. The room we stayed in was an interesting design with a "loft" that had a second double bed in it (though we didn't use it). The AC is fine, the TV works, the bed's comfortable, the shower has hot water, and the toilet flushes. The restaurant has a decent selection of food and is well made, and the wait staff are locals who are being trained to work in the industry. I enjoyed my stay even despite the rainy weather at the time, and I'm glad I made the long drive all the way there - it was worth it and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Great stay at a quiet beach ”
We had a great time here! We went when there were very few other guests which was perfect. They were updating a few things which was a minor inconvenience. Our rooms were great with a clean bathroom and beautiful shower. HUGE TV, but why would you use it there? Food was good at a fair price. The only complaint is beeping going on in the restaurant. It’s a tiny beep like a smoke detector or something... everything else was great!

Massively over-rated hotel”
The balcony door had only a hole instead of a lock, where we then stuffed paper, so that no insects came in. Shower and toilet did not work twice, there was simply no more water. As it rained almost daily, the room was extremely humid. It dripped partially from the ceiling. In the restaurant one is not greeted and not adopted. Animals are preferred to children, there is a sign in the restaurant where it stands the animals have free run and children are to be taken to the quiet. If it's a joke ... a bad one. (Sign very dominant boss) beach for swimming little suitable we have always driven to the beautiful Saud Beach Room service lets bottles stand around on a daily basis without taking them with them. Service is massively overwhelmed. Enige meals are served, the others follow only minutes later or things are forgotten. The food is ok. Boss is very dominant and contributes to the general bad mood in the resort. Only a few guests are treated preferentially, others are ignored. Overpriced

Calm yet Cool”
It was my second time in Pagudpud and it never fails to disappoint me. I love this hotel too. It’s hard to find, but the long trip is worth the wait. Won’t recommend this for travelers who would’ve a tight schedule since travel time may take 30-40mins from the resort to town proper. Love our room. Never expected to have such a spacious room at that price! No wifi (only at the restaurant but also slow) and no signal from SMART too. I do like that idea though cause I do want to “disconnect” from social media every now and then specially if I’m on vacation. All I need is a big TV, a beach, lots of good food and a cold beer. Food serving is also pretty large so don’t be intimidated by the price. Drinks are not pricey too even their cocktails. I do recommend getting the pitchers instead of the shots if you’re tight on budget. Or maybe bring your own booze cause they don’t have corkage anyways. Staff are all very friendly. I think during our stay we’re the only locals around and it’s a little uncomfortable cause we’re a shy type of couple and we’re surrounded by foreigners. The staff made it bearable. If that’s not enough company, ask for Toby. He’s a very friendly golden retriever. He likes to take long walks on the beach. Nice to also know it’s like a sanctuary. The animals there (cats, rabbits, monkey even turtles) seem very well taken cared of. I’m happy they do that. We never got to try the kitesurfing activities due to tight schedule. Since it’s far from most tourist attractions, travel time really killed out itinerary. But, we had fun snorkeling. Be careful with sea urchins cause there are a lot. Caution on their pool. It’s new. It’s 7ft deep and the tiles are slippery. But it’s a good pool with a good view facing the beach. I strongly recommend this for couples looking for a romantic date or group of friends looking for a new kind of sport. Really fun here!
