Rural Rajasthan enjoyed at the pool!
Lovely location, stunning pool and garden nestled in Aravali Hills. Ranakpur is a good place to stop for a few days. Kings Abode good value for money, super staff in a really interesting building. Would recommend.

Absolutely Horrible
I have nothing good to say about this hotel.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was dirty and discusting. It was obvious when we pulled the bed cover down that they had not changed the sheets. The sheets were soiled and stained and there was hair on the sheets/pillow case. We called the staff to come and change the sheets/pillow covers. The price we paid for the room did not reflect the quality of this hotel. It was way overpriced. When we checked out, they had a number of people go and inspect the room, which I thought was a bit rediculous. I just wanted to get out of that place as soon as possible. Where they afraid that i was going to take one of their old/dirty towels? If you are considering staying here...my stong recommendationm is DON'T. You will regret it.

A reasonable base for your temple visit
Spacious courtyard design, good rooms, clean.
The Jain temple is a must visit. When you do, you need a base. The Kings Abode is modern and nicely designed. The courtyards and central water feature are pleasant but could do with some maintenance. The room was excellent. The food was disappointing. Overall, not great value.

Decent weekend stay
The property is well located within Ranakpur and close by to the Ranakpur Jain temple. The hotel is fairly well maintained and offers some good views from the gardens and poolside.
The hotel is okay for a couple wanting to spend some 'us' time away from the crowds. I would not recommend this hotel or even the area (Ranakpur/Kumbhalgarh) to families with little kids. There are no activities in the hotel to keep the kids busy or occupied. The rooms are fairly maintained and offer clean beds and baths. Considering that we were supposed to get a garden/mountain view room, it was surprising that the garden view was actually that of a small 250 sq.foot garden that is shared privately by 3-4 rooms. This garden needs serious upkeep and cleaning. The F&B menu is average and could use an overall re-look. Overall it is not a value for money hotel and destination, unless you are on a religious visit to Ranakpur Jain temple. There are better options available within 100 kms.

We have booking 2 deluxe room but they give , the first time 2 rooms like standard room. You must to take careful wen you make the check-in. The food in the restaurant was very good and not expensive. The hotel was very good. The bathroom neads reforms.

Remote.
Close to Jain Temple and Kumbhalgarh fort. In the Aravelli hills.Picturesque drive.
New well run hotel with nice grounds and pool area. Built around a large central court-yard with breezeways. We had a private plunge pool outside our room but wished we had a chair or umbrella out there as well. The room itself was a little on the small side but had all the conveniences we needed and a comfortable bed. Meals were in a very large and pleasant dining room with views out to the grounds. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our 2 night stay and would say here again.
