"I enjoyed my stay at Beachfront Cabanas. It was a nicely laid out apartment equipped with everything you might need for a pleasant stay. The host and hostesses were gems and genuinely very helpful in offering help. I mentioned that the shower could use a rail and 1 was installed while I was being chauferred to the grocery store by the hostess! Now thats service. The garden is beautiful...you can tell a lot of love went into this property. Be aware that this property is outside of Durban and it can be a problem scheduling tours but it better suited for persons with their own transportation. I really didn't have any plans other to enjoy the sound of the waves and decompress. My only concern was that the sofa was not very comfortable, as I have found in most apartments I rent. I truly enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend it. Thank you for your hospitality."

"My husband and I book a room for overnight stay after reading the positive reviews online. On arrival the house looked dodgy and there is no buzzer or signage indicating that this was the BnB. After hooting for awhile, we were welcomed by an old man who showed our room. The room was very stuffy and had dirty looking bedding with multi colours that were faded. The room was big enough, however we were put off by the hygiene issues. The man basically told us to leave if we were not happy and he was not friendly at all. Respecting his age we said nothing and left and he also said we wont be getting any refund if that what we looking for. "
