I am stayed at level two room no 208 in front of toilet(as my requested), for me this place is highly recommended for backpackers and overall everything it's very good. I love to stay at this guesthouse. Location of this hotel is fantastic, strategic in the middle of city, very near with shopping complex and restaurant Warung Puteri and Ani Sup Utara and others food court.It's sharing bathroom with hot shower water and amenities. They bathroom and toilet is so clean.. Just a bit disappointed because their water dispenser sometimes don't have water. Their staff so friendly. Television, Aircond are function very well. Pro- Good Location, Near with halal restaurant Warung Puteri and Ani Sup Utara(both recommended), food court, so near with Miri Handy Crafts Mall, Shopping Complex. Cons- please upgraded the pantry and water dispenser.

I've been here few times. Always there is something lacking here, either the carpark is full, or my tv channel is not clear. This time I found weird stains on the bedsheet, I requested a change of room. The attendant gave me room on the most top floor. I think this is the last time i'm coming here.

i checked out after spending one night here and only got refung of rm30. checked out because i cannot take it that the room only provide shower..toilet is outside. not clearly stated in details. if i knew i wont book here in the first place

Location of this place is fantastic, in the middle of the city. Nice & friendly staffs. Great room, really value for money. It is shared bathroom with hot shower and amenities. Towel also provided by the guest house

Facilities Lacking”
We are expecting homey feeling as the name of the Hotel has a "Guest House". We are disappointed a bit because the lack of facilities. We are expecting a less hotel but more of a home away from home . Pantry is not available. Water dispenser sometimes don't have water. Hot shower sometimes is not functioning.

I have nothing ill to comment on this hotel,the room is decent,it is clean although i scent smthg weird in the room like after-cigarette smell,but it wasnt so bad to make me uncomfortable,my room was cleaned daily, not sure they changed the sheets,just arranging all bck to place & clear the rubbish but for me that is enough.Only I req the maintenance team to check the water heater in both female toilet at level 1 right hand side from the stairs.They are not functioning.and if u plan to stay here bring slipper,there arent any slippers provided at the toilet areas.

Okay but......”
Located behind Bintang Megamall and just few mins walk through the busy road. Overall is okay and clean except for the GH silence rules need to be improved as the soundproof wall is thin. Even we could hear the noise from other rooms as well as the walkway. I reached hotel from outside arnd 12ish and we were unable to sleep till 3am due to the loud noise (ppl laughing/yelling/music/singing/talking/running like their own house) from the first 2 to the last 2 rooms. Surprisingly was the reception did not take any action to stop them. Later then the loud speakers (guests from the 4 rooms) started again from 6am till we checked out. Totally was a nightmare to stay in between those 4 rooms and kinda disappointed on the reception. Lastly, KGGH should have place the silence signboard on the wall, staircase and walkway to keep as a reminder to all the guests ought to follow the rules at the GH.

Average place to stay in mundane town”
Good room for the price it was a good size and very clean, it's a bit depressing being in a dark room with no natural light though. Bathrooms very clean and great shower. Hot and cold water available in communal area. Would be really nice to have some sort of lounge/ communal area to relax in so you don't have to stay in your room. The lady there during the day was really friendly and helpful.

Affordable but not secure”
My last stay, heard guests fighting in the other room. Guy was literally yelling, throwing things and slammed the door repeatedly. Clearly person in charge at the time did not do anything to stop this.

the cleanliness of the room still need to improve. Need to consider muslims needs (kiblah direction,prayer mat). Since the toilets are outside of the room, slippers should be provided. Sometimes doors malfunction and have problem at night (keep sounded and disturb guest to sleep). Need to standby all the needs in the room for the guest that already booked and confirm to come. It was dissapointed when I come from far and need a good rest once arrive but they forgot to provide the aircond remote control and make me to wait like 10 minutes. However, despite all the lacks, the staff are friendly and respond immediately for any requesition.

Affordable and confident ”
This place is highly recommended to all backpackers. Its very cheap and comfortable. I stayed for one night. And really lucky to stay here because its not far from shopping complex and easy to find something to eat for supper. Just a few thing that I dislike but it still can be excuses. That is noisy sound from others room because the wall is not thick and no private toilet. But, its value for money.

Very near to popular shopping mall”
The guesthouse is nice. More like a homestay. The shared bathroom is no problem for me. It is clean and near to all rooms. The problem is there are limited parking spaces during night time.

Good budget stay”
The hotel is new so everything is relatively clean and new. The rooms are clean and comfortable but very dark with no natural light. Really needs a communal/ lounge area, this would drastically change the feel of the place.
