Located on the main highway between Queenstown and Te Anau/Milford Sound, Kingston Holiday Park offers motel rooms, glamping tents and historic cottages. Motel rooms include a kitchenette with portable cooktops, pans, a microwave and refrigerator, a wall-heater and a flat-screen TV. Some rooms boast a private spa bath. Bed linen, towels and tea/coffee making facilities are provided. All holiday park guests have access to a fully equipped communal kitchen with cooktops, cooking equipment and a pizza oven. There is also a free BBQ area with gas and a communal coin-operated laundry. Local staff can provide information on activities in the region including hiking and cycling trails. Hire of bicycles, golf clubs and tennis rackets is available from reception. Kingston Holiday Park is opposite the Kingston Cafe and Bar and just 1.2 km from Kingston Golf Course (9 holes). Lake Wakatipu is 500 m away. Queenstown International Airport and The Remarkables Ski Field’s entrance are less than a 30-minute drive from the property.

Children up to and including 3 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. Children from 4 years old to 14 years old stay for NZD 14 per person per night when using an existing bed. No extra beds are available. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Lovely staff, clean and safe”
We enjoyed our stay at Kingston holiday park very much. We stayed at one of the yurt and it was really fun. The bed was clean, nice and comfy. This place is near a very quiet and beautiful beach. The only shop and restaurant closes at 7pm so be sure to buy your food for dinner and breakfast otherwise you might want to drive back to Queenstown

A special experience in the nature”
We stayed there one night coming from South to Queenstown. The special experience was given by the stay in a tent. As this location is a combined facility with camping places and cabins we where able to use the shower and kitchen places. It give us a special feeling to be close to the nature, hearing the river beside and the rain drops falling on the tent during the night.

Did NOT inform us of booking changes until we got there”
Really not happy with the company. We originally booked a glamping tent/yurk purely for the experience. It's a 40min drive from Queenstown. They told us they emailed us regarding the booking changes but they clearly haven't. No use looking for alternative accomodations by then. They swapped our Yurk/ tent booking for a small caravan with a very lumpy mattress (I think it's 2 caravan benches merged to make 1 double bed with a lumpy topper over it). I'm 6mos pregnant and my back was sore for a good day or two. The caravan windows have broken sides as well so you can't really open them to let air in. Just wasn't what we signed up for. Very disappointed :/
