Great location and very friendly staffs”
i stayed in kingsway park hotel for 3 days. i was traveling alone so i origoinally booked for a single room which could accomodated only 1 person. the room was equipped with small bathroom with a toilet and shower. even though there is no practical problem in staying the room, hotel manager kin and other staff members offered me room change becouase of the small size of the room. kin and other staffs at reception are very very nice and friendly. i am really happy to choose the kingsway park hote. in addition to the nice staffs, the hotel has great location. just a 3~5 minute walk from underground station and bus stop. you can literally go to anywhere in central london through the publice transportation from kingsway park hotel.

Unbeatable location, great management ”
too many good things to say! excellent location, just a few minutes to paddington and the big bus tour (highly recommended), on a beautiful tree-lined street in sussex gardens. ken, the manager, upgraded my room to a much bigger room with balcony space. it was awesome and unexpected! the breakfast was delicious and the servers are very sweet and prompt. i will definitely be returning to kingsway upon my return to london!

great location, nice stay”
The Kingsway Park Hotel was a small hotel in Paddington, very very close to the tube-station. The room was kinda small with two sepparate beds. The bathroom was a little bit disappointing since it was small too and a little bit old and some tools were almost malfunction. But it was clean though. The breakfast was ok, nothing special, but ok. There was a lot of toast-bread, cereals, tea, coffee and yoghourt. Moreover you can order an english breakfast which means beans, eggs and bacon, which honestly was not my taste of breakfast. So to sum up, it was a small, nice, very well-located hotel, but which would not get 3 stars from me - 1 or 2 would be enough. But i would recommend it and book again at this hotel, since it was really good, despite the little old-fashioned things.

Great location”
Location is perfect, only 3 minutes walk to Paddington station and 15 min to Marble Arch, also very close to Hyde Park. The room was quite small, but we found there everything we needed. The staff was very nice and helpful. For breakfast, you will get toast, selection of jams, or musli, or full English breakfast. You can also choose how would you like your egg to be cooked. The only thing I was not really happy about was the size of the mattress :D It was too short for me (I am 170cm high :D ), imagine my bf :D But, In the end, we did enjoy our stay!

Excellent”
We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and always found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. The location is superb for both Paddington Station, Hyde Park and Oxford Street. The breakfast provides a continental breakfast as well as a good Full English breakfast. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent budget hotel”
Excellent value for money. Great location, friendly staff, particularly Kevin who couldn't have been more helpful, from guiding my partner in to a parking spot to fetching an iron for us and even giving us a couple of free extra hours parking on check out. The rooms are small but are clean and have everything you need. Shampoo, shower gel, towels, tea and coffee and a large TV. With breakfast included, this hotel is amazing value for money. I can highly recommended it!

Small and old, but great staff and location”
My first impression - the intelligent and really helpful guy at the front desk, who could explain to you practically everything you need to know about London, he is really wonderful. My second - went straight to bed. Woke up in an "elevator", so to speak - the room was small, on the top floor and it was double! But the old and dirty blanket and the bathroom - like in an old plane - were the disappointment! This is for 110 pounds per night. Breakfast is not that bad, but small, no choices everyday. In general the feeling is that you are trapped. I wanted to leave, but same nice guy convinced me to stay and offered me a much better room in their next door hotel - Admiral. Thank you, wonderful staff, it is not your fault. The location is absolutely perfect, since the hotel is next to Hyde park and Paddington station. It's my fault that I waited till the last minute and this hotel was the only one left. Having said all this - I would go there again, if the price is much lower (60-70 max!)

Bare Bones Accomodations”
I chose this hotel because of the price and location, however I don't think it deserves a 3 star rating. The building is old and shabby; the lobby had a smell and the front desk had papers piled high all over the desk. I was given a room on the "second" floor, however it took 4 flights of stairs to get there (there are no elevators). The room was clean, however it was very tiny with a closet sized bathroom. It felt like a dormitory room. In fact, the hotel would be perfect for college students on a budget, which I think was most of its clientele. The breakfast room was passable, but the staff was not very cordial. The desk clerk on duty when I arrived was very helpful and friendly, and carried my bag to my room. The location was great--just a couple of blocks from Hyde Park and Paddington Station. Fortunately, I had only booked a one night stay.

good location”
i stayed in basement in the first night, and they changed room for me for the other two nights. nice people there, they always welcomed you with a smile. there is a computer for customer use free of charge. very nice breakfast, typical english breakfast. it takes 5-7 mins to walk to hyde park, and 3-5mins to paddington tube station. very convenient.

Good value”
First I want to note that this hotel does not have an elevator, while this seems to be the norm for London I want to note as this information is missing from the hotel's website. It's a five floor hotel and I stayed on the top (voluntarily). Another thing of note, is that the shower water is tricky but this can be addressed by showering other than 8-10am. If you're okay with the above two issues, then this is a great hotel - nice neighborhood; friendly, noninvasive staff; very close to tube and Paddington station (direct connection to Heathrow airport); very close to beautiful Hyde/Kennsington parks; and nearby shopping areas.

Good budget hotel”
This is a basic hotel with basic facilities. The breakfast is considered good for European standard. The best feature is thelocation. Very near to London Panddington Station and very near to underground tube and also very accessible by bus. Other facilities are nearby such as shops and restaurants.

affordable hotel close to Hyde park and only five minutes walk to Paddington station. although booked to stay in this hotel we were informed on arrival that we were moved to a sister hotel, Europa house which was three doors along.

Staff Service is poor, only manager knows all”
First day went for check in but have to ask me to go to another hotel to stay for one night. Reason is some piping work going on. 2nd day check in given level 4 room but no lift available. Cannot receive any wifi connection from room. Ask the staff about this they say no signal booster on level 4. Being told that the wifi signal is poor for level 4 and ground level. Ask to change room they say single rooms are located in level 4 and ground level only. Told me they will do something about it but by end of my 6 nights there, nothing is done. Every Morning no hot water available, must wait till after 10am then have. Reason given is building is old, the water system is shared by other hotel as well. Will never come back to this hotel ever

One night at Kingsway Park Hotel”
I booked a family room for 4. However, when arrived, I was allocated too rooms. One was in the main hotel, the other was in an sister hotel 2 nos down the street. The room in the sister hotel was a penthouse room and is very small and hardly accommodate 2 person. Its great that I only stay for one short night.

Shaky start, happy ending”
The first room was horrible- it was TINY, stuffy, had no towels, a dirty floor, handles were missing from furniture, the bed was on a head-down slope, the ensuite was a tacked on fibreglass unit like that in a motorhome, and no space to set up our babies cot. We had booked our room months in advance so complained and, after first night, were shifted to a much nicer, larger and cleaner room. This room had a big window to let fresh, cool air in, it had a well appointed ensuite complete with a bath (as the website had stated), fresh clean towels and was 2 floors lower so more convenient with a little one. The breakfast room was also very hot and stuffy. Plus it was too small to sit all guests at once so people had to wait around for others to finish before they could eat. The food range was ok but the tomatoes that came with the english breakfast were cold whole peeled tomatoes served straight from the tin. On the positive, the room was clean and tidy, the cutlery and crockery were nice and the kitchen staff were very polite. It was a convenient location but there was always lots of street noise, even with the window shut. On our departure the hotel staff arranged a taxi to take us to the airport but failed to inform us that it was a fixed price of £35 which, while it was a fair distance to the airport, seemed a bit much to us... We did enjoy our stay in the end, but it could have been much better with very little effort.
