See you again Kashobou!”

The location, the room size, the staff, the Onsen baths are all worthwhile to be mentioned. Feels good to stay there and the scenery from room is great, looking down the river and looking up the mountains. Evening stroll to the nearby bridge is really enjoyable.

Inexpensive comfortable stay”

Don't expect the most luxurious stay. There are no provided meals, so you have to go out for food. But it has its own Onsen, which is ok. The accommodation has some obvious wear marks, but for the price it was a comfortable stay anyway. The staff is not so great on english, but you can get by.

Accommodation ”

The family room size we gotten is very worth the price and size. You will never get such a size with this price compare to Tokyo. It can easily take up to 4 adults and still have a small living room. Just be aware that that there is no bathroom build inside the room. Need to use common bath area.

Interesting stay..”

When we stayed it seemed like a ghost town with very few other guests but it seemed fairly standard of Kinagawa Onsen town which also felt like a ghost town. The traditional room was very spacious and floor bedding comfortable. The onsen while a bit dated was definitely the highlight.

Too old & Not clean”

The room was big enough for like 4-5 people. We had two single beds and tatami, but it had no shower room in our room. If we want to take a shower, we had to go to public bath to shower. Also the room was not clean as it was too old and had a bad smell.

Hotel is in a good location but need to renovate . Old room and not fully accommodate the visitor. Understand that the price is cheap but it’s still expensive compare to what you paid.

Incredible value. inside and outside onsen.”

I took a 4 person Japanese style room for the cost of about 2 dorm beds. the room was big and had a view to the river. The 2 onsens included in the price (gender separated) were a really good way to spend my time there. (Open 6-10am inside, 4-11pm both). I even had ramen delivered to my room from a local restaurant for only 550 yen.

Good service, good location, clean room”

Owner was very nice. Location was good. Got free parking although we need to park our car next few streets however the staff will drive you back to the hotel. Room is clean. However, when we booked this ryokan, it didn't mention it was a shared bathroom room. So we didn't have our own bathroom. Fortunately, since it has an onsen, so we don't mind to take showers at the onsen.

view would be wonderful in late autumn”

Loved it, real good value for money. True the place was a bit smoky and very old, but well maintained & clean. A real Japanese experience. Onsen was great although there were some bugs. Next time I might just stay there again to enjoy the outdoor onsen with a view. We didn't have any trouble during our stay but staff were overall friendly. Checkout time 10am is a tad bit too early, but I did have enough time for a second bath :)

Nice Onsen”

The room is spacious. The view from the room is breathaking, the window frame a bit dirty. The bed pretty much comfy. I love how big the room is. I came in the summer, and I'm all alone in the Onsen. Tried the outdoor onsen once, It's small but it's good, and it's clean.
