Small but well managed clean hostel”
I love the ambiance of the homey like hostel. Conveniently located in a quiet suburb but near the bus stop. I love the clean bedrooms with a great view. The kitchen is well equipt! And the always available coffee/ tea/ sugar and freshly baked bread in the morning is totally awesome! If there's one thing that i find tiresome is having to walk about 3 kms back and forth to get to the nearest supermarket / mall for my needs. Though the hostel is not entirely at fault as that is the usual locations in a laidback suburb in Christchurch.

The staffs at the counter were very kind and nice. I'd like stay at this accomdation if I visit Christchurch again. But a little bit far from city center.

Going downhill”
I've stayed here a number of times, including an extended stay when I first moved to Christchurch. What a bummer that it seemed it disrepair since I had last been there. Breakfast apparently no longer exists, the patio furniture had taken a serious beating, and the bathrooms were dirty (especially a shame as at least one of them was only redone 2 years ago.) Maybe it's just a covid thing and hopefully they'll spruce it up again. Used to be the best hostel in Christchurch.

Great for a solo backpacker who need private room”
- The room rate for single was good, but I stay in the room closest to the road which I found that during late night, there are numbers of people try to do very short range racing on the road (just one red light to another one) near my windows. - Toilet and shower is good, has enough number of room. - Bread of breakfast was delicious. - Good location for bus stop to airport

I love this place!! Best hostel I've found in all of nz. The reception is so friendly and helpful. Free yummy homebread for breakfast and pasta for dinner! Very comfortable bed! The patio is awesome and great hangout area! Clean! Close enough to everything! Stayed an extra night because I liked it so much!!

very very small dorm”
i traveled all over the world and stayed in maybe 100 hostels, but I've never seen a smaller dorm than the one here. there is not even room to open the door because the bags are in the middle of the room.

It is really nice hostel, it is quite small though. I really love that we can have breads and pasta for free!! that is amazing, and staff as well. i have never stayed this kind of hostel. I recommend it.

it’s huge and filled to the brim. wifi only at the ground floor. towels for hire only. very busy. staff is friendly enough but maybe a little overwhelmed. i disliked it as a solo traveler not in their 20s. parking was ridiculous. but location in town is good

Très propre, cuisine bien équipée, staff très gentil, bonne salles de bain, lounge et dinner room sympas, terrasse agréable, à 10/15mn à pieds du centre de Christchurch, à 2mn à pieds de plusieurs lignes de bus (dont celle de l'aéroport), et super petit dej avec du pain chaud, beurre, confiture, et boisson chaude à volonté ! Très bon séjour de plusieurs nuits !

スタッフさんがとにかく親切。 困ったことがあればすぐ助けて下さいます。 お部屋やシャワー室もとても綺麗に清掃されており、心地よく滞在できます。 ただ、本当に最小限のものしかないので、(タオルとパジャマなし、アメニティも。布団は薄いです)冬場は特に暖かいものをもっていくといいかと思います。 でも総合的に考えると、お値段以上のバックパッカーズホテルでした。

便宜的價錢，定了兩人房，給的是三人房，所以房間很大又乾淨，且還有附早餐，早上的麵包很好吃
