Find hotels near Klong Muang in Krabi, Thailand

First we traveled Thailand in a group of 14 People for ten days. After that my girlfriend and I decided to stay in the beyond Resort Krabi for our last 3 days. The arrival with the Lomprayah company was a bit nerve wracking, because they only have stops in Krabi (City) and Krabi (Ao Nuang). The beyond resort is in Klong Muang so we took a taxi to the resort. We got a warm welcome and everything was fine. In the first night we had no warm water but they fixed in within minutes. We were a bit unlucky with the weather (raining season) so we staid in the hotel a lot. The food was good and you could choose between Thai and Western dishes. The staff at the restaurant was really kind and helpful. Especially Jayson form the beach-bar-Restaurant. He gave us really good advises about the area and the local food and his service was excellent. The Beach was clean and very nice. FYI: there are cats in the resort. The beyond resort is a good place for a romantic get away.

[Overall] During this season, we're privileged to enjoy pretty much private beautiful beach during our stay. Well-organized Infrastructure and friendly staff might be the biggest spotlight at the resort. We joined a lot of in-house activities such as kayaking, Thai boxing, etc. Compared with other resort scattered in Ao Nang and Klong Muang, Dusit Thani is without doubt the best Krabi resort ever. [Food] Compared with the Mangosteen's, Malati's has relatively better Cost-Performance Value, we actually had a delicate Thai food experience ever. Please keep it that way. [Need for improvement] Please avoid leaving the cleaning cart on the hallway unwatched for half a day. Plus, the security guard at the front gate represents the very first expression of a hotel, for instance on the sudden rainy day which in this case they could be more sensitive and hospitable to provide an umbrella and temp sanctuary for the guest.

Luxury apartment/with hotel facilities, ours 1402 had the most stunning views to the sea /islands, air con ice cold, a few maintenance issues but sorted out. Breakfast was great good selection but keep all foods covered please as its outdoor don't want insects landing on it. Get staff to go round refilling coffee as they stood around doing nothing a lot of the times, don't put poached egg on vinegar bread , yuk! Cook in plain water on toast please and always ensure orders of bacon & crossaints are done as one day they ran out! Gym was excellent but sometimes water dispenser £ towels not replenished , fab place but staff need more training in hospitality and speaking English , we would definitely come again . Klong Muang lovely quiet and beach walks stunning but could do with better litter clearing as locals just throw rubbish anywhere ( maybe start a community effort if government not forthcoming ) Klong Muang also Muslim area so you will here prayer at 5 am over tannoy from mosque but only 5 mins and they don't do Songkran there which is a relief but if you want to experience it a short tuk tuk ride to Ao nang is where to go & for shopping. Lady opposite Pelican does excellent laundry service which is really cheap . Great beach bars for chilled out evenings on beach & stunning sundowners at the !Nest bar ( part of hotel) but pricey. Sabai bar next door have a cabaret night & always busy food great & cheaper prices 😁😎🌴

We stayed at the Nakamanda for three days, and were extremely happy with the design, service and location of the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff from check-in throughout the whole stay. The resort sits right on the turn of south and noth Klong Muang beach. Head up to the north and the beach is nice, but the vista is dominated by a ship-loading pier - thankfully blocked out of view the turn and trees from the beachside pool and restaurant at Nakamanda. Head south on Klong Muang and you have one of the best and least crowded beaches in Krabi. There's a few restaurants and shops around outside the resort, and Klong Muang village is around 10 minutes walk away. We reserved our room just a day before, impulsive decision to splurge a bit while flashpacking around Krabi. Our vila was on the lower level, but that's to be expected when booking just a day before. Vila's themselves are very well designed, roomy and lovely front porch and bathrooms. Beautiful tended gardens enclose the vilas and the design and architecture gives the place a real sense of personality, a lot more so than international chains like Sheratons et all. Nakamunda is more like a very unique version of a Banyan tree resort. Highly recommended.

The hotel itself is lovely. It's set in beautiful surroundings. The hotel lobby is open plan and it looks on to the sea which is lovely. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff are very attentive. The swimming pool is amazing. Amazing choice for breakfast it's not the best I've ever had but it won't disappoint. If you are looking for tranquility this is the place to stay. There really isn't much to dislike about the Hotel. The only thing I would say is Sofitel charge you for transfer to Au nang. Personally I think this service should be complimentary considering the price you pay for the hotel. The only other thing I would say is that Klong Muang beach is not very nice! but I do think the hotel makes up for it by having the largest swimming pool in Thailand and also offers a free transfer to Hong Island which has a beautiful beach and perfect setting for sunbathing and snorkeling.

The hotel is a hidden gem in Klong Muang, right in front of the beach, you can hear the waves and walk at beach, best time during sunset. The bedroom is spacious and the pillow the bed are just perfect, so soft and comfortable. There's a restaurant next to the hotel, where they serve the bfast. I have to recommend this hotel for families, couples, solo traveler. I'd definitely come back to this hotel again.

upon we arrive, it was raining nonstop. me and my girlfriend felt a bit disappointed abt the weather until we reach our hotel, the Phulay Bay. Hotel staff are waiting for us at the hotel entrance and prepared tasty lemongrass tea for us to refresh. have to say the service there is absolutely 5 stars. This is the first time that i would like to stay more in the hotel rather than going out for sightseeing. the hotel was designed like a garden, all the layout is just right. they also offer many activity, like yoga on the beach. only the location is not the best, it is a bit far from the town, takes abt 20mins by taxi, but i believe it wont be this nice if it very close to the town, it is the best place to hideaway. The most important thing is my girlfriend loves it a lot, and this is our first trip and we had a fabulous experience at Krabi with Phulay Bay.

The hotel owner was really friendly and accommodating. He always try to help us and fulfill our needs whenever practical. Plus Their room is huge and very clean with a great family space for dining and chilling out. Great kitchenettes facilities with microwave , fridge, kettle for coffee tea. Clean bathroom and changes of towels everyday upon request of room cleaning Surrounded by lots of eatery shops and just 2 minutes walk to 7 eleven shop, very convenient! Walking distance to Beach (15mins) and we spent many days on the beach in one of the bars there and was very relaxing! Go Pineapple bar there, the boss very friendly and nice spot to sit and enjoy the sunset on this beach. Far much better than Aanong beach. Lots of taxi service to go anywhere. Taxi charges from hotel to airport or vice versa only $700 Thai baht per trip which can fit 4 person and 2 huge luggages, so message the hotel staff and they’ll pick u up from airport for just $700 baht far much cheaper than booking online. The owner use his brand new Toyota 4WD to pick u up. Great value for $ if u book the breakfast together in your booking. Not many variety but I think it’s good enough for me with few selections of continental breakfast and Asian breakfast. Minus Pool definitely is terribly old and tatty! Need a great facelift but still can swim if u ignore all that. Broken tiles in the pool and lots of rough surface so better wear swim shoe like what we did but our friends didn’t have any so their children cut their foot. Whole building need a revamp except the room Internet connection very bad inside the room but ok when u go to the balcony There’s nobody at the reception after 10pm, so u pretty much by yourself but can inform the owner earlier and he is quite happy to fix things for u. The owner did mentioned he has planned to renovate the whole pool and rehire the whole receptionist team. Hope that happen and alll the best because the owner is very warm and friendly w

Service, ambiance, and overall stay is comfortable and pleasant. However, it is located on the Khlong Muang beach, which is a little remote from the center of Krabi or the more happening, Ao Nang and/or Railay beach. As a backpacker, it was a very quiet place for me. I did get some much-needed rest that night albeit dull. With that said, I would definitely recommend it for people trying to look for some quiet peaceful time and wouldn't mind paying a hefty price for taxi / car service to the airport / other places.

A nice place to stay, we would come back again. The staff was polite and helpful so far (some speak better English, some don't). Our room was bright, spacious, clean and with airconditioning. The bathroom was new, clean and had a rain shower. Breakfast was apropriate and contained toast, marmelade, rice, egg, fruit or vegetables, coffee, tea, orange juice and water.  We had a motorbike during our 5 day  stay (200 Baht/day, you can rent it right at the reception) so we could fastly reach Klong Muang (our favourite beach), Tubkaek or the nearby National Park which is definitely worth a half-day trip:-) P.S: If you want good, authentic Thai food whis is relatively cheap go to "Asama Halal". Many locals eat there aswell. We liked it very much.

we drove from phucket without reserving a room and arrived in ao nang and wanted something more quiet and relaxed. the local thais suggested klong muang, about 20 minutes away. we passed the sofitel and sheraton and found the elements at road's end, across from the beach. perfect for us. new, well maintained, architecturally lovely and much more reasonably priced than the aforementioned hotels. the pleasant receptionist suggested that we would obtain a better rate booking through agoda and allowed us to stay in the villa that we chose prior to receiving the agoda voucher which took about an hours time to arrive. we had dinner at the hotel. menu included thai and western/european food. the thai seafood was tasty, well prepared and no more expensive than the local eateries. breakfast buffet was included and the chef was happy to make me a special-order thai omelet. coffee was fresh brewed rather than the usual nescafe or espresso concentrate found elsewhere in thailand. khun rattanak, the manager was very helpful in assisting with our recreation plans including the free use of kayaks and hotel towels, bottled water etc. at the beach.

Thanks bannchomle to provide us a great honeymoon journey. we received honeymoon flower and fruits .The manager gives us welcome drink and the house is just nearby the beach.klong muang beach is very nice beach in Krabi，i think it good than aonang beach. there is very peaceful and serenity ，not very commercial but with enough restaurants and massage store .Our house is amazing，very clean and with every things you want.staff are smile all the time.if you want a quiet holidays this is the resort for you.

If you are looking for a peace, quiet place, then this is the perfect hotel. About 30 minute motorcycle ride from the crowded ao nang beach. If you need any groceries there are some shops near klong muang beach. However the beach is full of dead corals and seashells, probably the after effect of the 2004 tsunami, making it hard to walk on it. You need shoes to walk on the beach.

The Kohkwang Seaview is right on the beach just north of Klong Muang. There are several other places with similar names so make sure you have the right one. I have now stayed several times and in fact became a favourite to spend my last week of latest trip. Stayed in standard and deluxe seaview. If you can afford it, that is worthwhile, straight over the beach. Rental of moped from owner was easy and stress free, providing a cheap means of seeing the area. Breakfast was basic, but enjoyable- especially since you take it with a beautiful view. Lady who runs the place is so friendly and helpful. Some taxi's don't know where it is, so try to check it out on google maps prior to arrival. Putting these coordinates into search will put you at the right place: 8.059776, 98.748250

Such a beautiful hotel located in calm part of Klong Muang village. Everything was perfect. We have booked the airport transfers in advance via email, everything was fine anyway our flight was delayed. I have to confirm excellent breakfast too, each day different one, almost impossile to eat everything! In walking distance you can find grocery shop/2 mins and restaurants/5 mins. Sea by walk 5 mins maximum which was no problem for us, he had view to the sea from our room in 3rd floor. If hotel will be not situated on the other side of the world where my home is, I would come back more often.

Lovely clean rooms right near the beach. 3 separate rooms (living/kitchen, bedroom and bathroom) with a balcony. Very well furnished and comfortable. We had an upstairs room and although close to the road, the noise didn't keep us awake. Plenty of restaurants, shops and money change booths close by. Most of the nearby bars closed by 10.30 pm. Alice was the perfect host and very approachable. She gave us many hints and tips, she can also book trips for you.

A very comfortable small apartment, just as in the photos and very new. The hosts Jam and Don were extremely welcoming and friendly, going out of their way to bring fresh fruit each morning. The bedroom (with a.c.) and living room are tastefully decorated and the small kitchen has a few amenities if you want to cook. It's set back from the main road but the traffic noise subsides after 10pm — just frogs and insects. Location is good, although you need transport really (I rented a scooter). Klong Muang is very small, with the beach 5-10 mins walk away, and restaurants and convenience stores a bit further. If you walk further (or up the beach heading North) there is another set of restaurants and shops. The listing could do with some clarification — there isn't actually a store, ATM or restaurant "on site", they are in the town (although there is a basic place to eat next door), and no smoking, pork or alcohol allowed on premises. I would stay here again.

My husband and I loved our stay at Vacation House. We arrived earlier than the check-in time of 2:00 pm, but Layla at the front desk was able to get us breakfast and into our room before noon! The hotel was a little difficult for our taxi driver from the airport to find, but I saw the sign from the road. The hotel looks like a vacation booking place, but it is actually the hotel. Just look for the lime green building across from The Pelican. Once you go inside the office, the staff will help you right away! While you cannot see the beach from your hotel window, you can walk to the beautiful and clean beach just within seconds! We loved this easy access and the delicious but simple (included) breakfast served on the beach each morning. The rooms are spacious and clean and were cleaned each day. There was a refrigerator provided with 2 free water bottles each day. We also purchased a pack of 12 water bottles from the office for only 75 baht. This lasted us for our entire 4 night stay. Klong Muang Beach is quiet and beautiful with the best sunsets around! There are a few beachside restaurants and bars right near the hotel that have delicious Thai and western foods. Don't expect to be partying all night here though (except maybe on New Year's Eve!). There is also a mini mart just down the road that has snacks, sunscreen, drinks and other toiletries you might need. Although the hotel did provide soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Layla in the hotel office will book everything you need from trips to the islands to taxi shuttles to the airport. The hotel owner treated us like family and even invited us to his New Year's Eve BBQ where we were able to participate in handing out gifts to the children and view fireworks! Our flight left very late on our last day, and Layla said we could stay in our room until 4 pm, rather than the 12 pm checkout time since the next guests weren't arriving until later. We were so thankful for this!

The bungalow looked older and smaller than it looks in photo. Nice thing is that there is a small dining area where you can use microwave, hot water kettle , instant coffee, plates & cups. The cleanliness was ok. Sheets was fresh but I saw trashes & dust beneath the bed when I checked in, and toilet had brown stain. Some of the towels smelled like urine. Stuff was very helpful, recommend to use their pick up. But be careful with their "pet" monkey. My bra and silk scarf ( was very valuable for me...) was ripped badly that made my impression of the resort negative.
