The staff were really wonderful. I enjoyed talking with them and getting to know them. Great hotel and awesome terrace to sit and view Lake Toba. Good food choices.

loud cheap karaoke music in the evenings, noisy rooms the only good thing is the view the pool is ok nothing special. no hot water only local tv nice for kids but if you want a realxing stay AVOID

Disappointing”
The hotel is in a good location but that's about it. The room was not clean and the staff unhelpful. They seemed disinterested and could not provide answers to simple questions about the properties facilities - "I don't know" was the standard reply. We were kept up half the night when staff decided to hold a party outside our room after midnight.

Now a swimming pool is finished Small but good enough. Wifi works good. Friendly staff Maria was happy to see me again. The only thing that can improve is fixing the shower nozzle and having a sheet for the blanket not just the mattress.

Not good to leave”
Lumayan mahal untuk jenis kamar sekelas itu. Begitu masuk kamar... Kesek kaki yg dipintu kamar mandi jorok dan basah.ktika sya komplen minta ganti kurang ditanggapi dengan alasan habis. Sarapan paginya so bad. Hanya disuguhin nasi goreng biasa dan mie gomak nya jg biasa aja. Yg paling parah..... Telur dadarnya setipis silet. Dan itu pun dijatah sama waitress nya. Oh my goodness. I don't like it. Never come here for the second time.

2 night in this cottage”
Lovely place and great view from this cottage. A lot if the basic facilities not prepare, like some of the water heater is not function well, no hair dryer, hot water need to buy, cannot cook, night time have many mosquito. Btw, the location for the food really nice, named "Jenny Restaurant", food and drink are amazing!

Disappointing”
Our room was in Judita Cottage, the building next door, instead of Anju Cottage we booked and intended to stay. Without any notification, we were directed to the room after we checked in. The room didn't look like the photos on the website at all. The shower and sink were broken, we were required to use the bowl of water to clean ourselves. We could hear people chatting throughout the night. There's only two bulbs of light one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom which made a dimly lit space. There is no fan-water heater and the sheet and pillow cases were pretty dirty. When we asked about breakfast, Judita's staff told us that there's no breakfast included, we need to walk to Anju's reception to get them to tell Judita's staff to make our breakfast. The whole experience wasn't pleasant. I would recommend Agoda to design processes to prevent this gap of room booked- room stayed from happening for a better customer experience.

Standar room had no water heater, an old model bathroom. Not bad after all... Not enough space for car parking, exspecially on hi season. The pool was nice, not bad... Only for sleep is okay. Take a trip around samosir island....

Medan lake Toba”
I hope their shower facility nee to be improved ,cottage look good from the outside but most facilities are old. Breakfast was disappointed as there are not many guests so they just brought us fried rice with a cup of tea without informing us in the morning as we were told we were suppose to have our breakfast in their dinning area when we checked in. They don.t even serve us coffee when we requested as the morning coffee is very important for us to start our day. We are better off having our breakfast outside the cottage as they are many cafe around which serve good breakfast that value for money

Good hotel, noisy open air karaoke”
Great place if you don't mind karaoke until late night. Hotel is clean, staff is friendly, rooms are comfortable. During 2 of our 3 night stay, very loud singing started mid-afternoon only to end late night. Even though our room was at the other end of the hotel, sleeping was difficult if not impossible until the singing stopped. Not our idea of a relaxing long weekend at lake Toba. Apart from this, nothing to complain about.

Terrible holiday because of this hotel”
Poor services, rat died at room and ask reception help, they only say will send someone go to clear it. However at the end up no one come and counter just direct closed. No one to help us. Meanwhile, shower not working and etc...... Many bad thing caused us have a terrible holiday..... staff are very unfriendly....

Only good thing about this hotel was the fantastic staff.”
I stayed in room 75 for 9 days and the bed was the worst bed I have ever stayed in. Totally impossible to get a good nights sleep. The shower in the room never worked and what was worse is they never fixed it. I had to use a bucket to mix hot and cold water in. I did ask for it to be fixed but they never did fix it. No mirror in bathroom so I had to shave in bedroom using bucket to. Very sad because the staff there were really nice. The food was very limited in choice and the only good meal was the fish. Sorry to say but I can not recommend this hotel to anyone.

friendly staff”
My second time around. Friendly staff Maria welcomed me. I har a different room this time. Only one light in the room.The TV was good but only in Indonesian. It showed some Kdramas n American movies without dubbing so it was the only entertainment in town in the low season. Best local food was in Parapat. Samosir is little pricy but fun. The cottage next door has a swimming pool.

Too noisy”
If u book standard room then u have to prepare yourself for the noisy thing. Hacking, knocking even people step can be heard from the room. reall dissapointed about the room located at the aisle not facing the lake.
