Nice Hotel”

Just minutes away from the subway and near to everything. Hotel is just normal, a bit old but suitable in Flushing to walk to almost everywhere.

Poor Service and dirty bathrooms”

The staff never wear a smile at all. Our family spent 7 nights in the hotel. Staff from Front office, breakfast serving area and even the room attendants never smile. I guess they are not happy with their job! The bath room was very dirtly and hair spreading around. I don't think the room attendant vacuum the floor at all.

Excellent ”

Stayed only for 1 night, but was an excellent stay. The reception let me checked in early at 12 pm, because my flight arrived early in the morning. After a 24-hour flight from half way across the globe, we were dead tired, and this is much appreciated.

We were there for a Mets game and this was an easy location to walk to. Nearby restaurants were easily available until late hours(Saturday night stay), the hotel staff was very friendly, room was good for my friend and I. Quiet room, easily accessible from elevator...I rated cleanliness satisfactory because the sink was a little dirty when we walked in and the carpeting a little worn. Overall a great experience for a great price. Easy 1 block walk to the subway and only $3 on the subway to Times Square the next day. I would recommend.

I will probably not use Agoda again based on this hotel recommendation. I arrived at LaGuardia to find out that there is no shuttle bus to this hotel. Reviews said there were. I immediately booked at another hotel that has airport shuttle. Money down the drain.

Best Western has to take this hotel of its list.the hotel needs badly to undergo renovation to catch up with the deco, replace carpets and broken furniture, light up the lobby and get rid of the kitchen smell.Cant recognise who is the staff and who is not because they dress as many of the guests

Room in the basement”

First time staying in a hotel with a room in the basement next to the restaurant. I will not stay here again.

Good location”

The location is good and close to many chinese restaurants. Easy access to the public transport .

Comfortable basic hotel”

The stay overall was comfortable with all the basic necessities. Staff was helpful in guiding us to boil the water with the coffee maker. The location was near 39th av which is near to many restaurants and transport.

Unpleasant”

Bad. On the very first day that we checked in, the staff that served us were nice until she need us to sign some documents and things like that. To confirm thing before we sign, we asked her a few questions, what the return from her was a silent WHATEVER. I bet she didn't know we would have saw what she did. Next, the restaurant is open, open in a way that it's not located in a enclosed room. In other words, the first thing you walk into their lobby you smell something. This makes me rather give up on the breakfast there. By the way, in the morning when they cook, the smell will come to your room and it's totally not a pleasant one. Maybe because we stay near the lift. We are just unlucky. On checkout day, we would like to get a taxi to bring us to LGA and the lady staff almost get us to JFK! She was very impatient through out. I wouldn't recommend this. I choose this because it's a short 1 day stay that's is within my budget.

Excellent room, terrible staff”

The room has big beds and was spacious. It is also really near the subway, although the subway station itself is 40 minutes from Times Square area. However, the front desk staff are extremely rude and unprofessional, very unlike other Best Western chains. They spoke rudely and were essentially really inefficient. I didn't understand why during the peak check in-check out timing there was only 1 staff at the front desk. Furthermore, the staff raised their voices at each other in front of the customers, which is really unprofessional.

Good location but unfriendly staff ”

Staff name Judy is not so friendly, should have a smile on her face once, speaks with attitude and shows annoying feeling of customers's questions. The hotel is located in a good location in the middle of Chinatown Flushing which is very close to several nice chinese restaurants and also not far from the Laguadia airport. The room includes breakfast but breakfast starts 7.00 am. I have to leave before 7.00 am so don't have a chance to have breakfast at all.
