Chic and well-priced”
Easy access to and from the freeway, located near many great sights, restaurants and nightlife. Hotel has very friendly and helpful staff, we will probably be back again sometime. We tried the checkered past wine bar - you get a 10% discount there and at several other places for staying at Canvas hotel. The wine bar’s food was exceptional, and they also offer beer/cider. Great laid-back atmosphere.

Anniversary to remember ”
They were absolutely wonderful the entire time. We had a wonderful room with a OUTSTANDING view of the city line...The roof top bar was so lit that Everyone seemed to have forgotten that the pool was being renovated..We chilled around it anyway..lolol..The Bartender was amazing and his drinks were better.Were definitely coming back...Our new hide out❤

Quick Getaway”
Nice, Clean and modern hotel. We went to go see Armin Van Buren next door at the Southside Ballroom. So the hotel is convenient and withing walking distance. The bar at the top provides a great view of the local area and some of the Highrises. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff is super friendly. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The rooftop is very cozy and has great ambience :)

Love Canvas”
Second time at Canvas. Love their rooms, view, rooftop pool, the whole decoration so artistry, chic style. Stacey, front desk person was wonderful, attentive and kind. I definitely will stay again, 100% recommend.

Love this hotel - the architecture, the roof top”
The location was good for me because I was attending an event about a mile away. I love the hotel. It's a 1910 era Sears warehouse! The rooms have concrete floors and ceilings with a hip industrial feel. The rooftop bar is amazing. The lobby bar is very nice too. I ate a couple meals there and the food was surprisingly good! Also, free parking!

Perfect for us!”
Perfect for us! We were in town to see John Fullbright at Poor David’s pub which is right next-door! We had a wonderful bite to eat at the rooftop bar/restaurant and wish we had had enough time to use the rooftop pool! We went back up there after the concert and it was quite a cool scene! They had the masking thing down too. They even had a great security guy checking peoples temperatures when they walked in the bar. Which was really all open air anyway! The only thing I’d recommend is you upgrade from the regular king loft so at least you’d have two chairs. There was no place to put anything! Also, all the pipes are exposed so you could hear water gurgling all night long. This place is so cool though. It used to be a coffin factory! A long long long long long time ago.

Amazing stay!”
We loved our stay at the canvas hotel. The design was really trendy and fun. The rooms were cool, too. Our AC wasn’t working in our first room and Andy at the front desk was amazing and gave us a complimentary upgrade. The rooftop pool was a lot of fun and has a spectacular view of the Dallas skyline. We watched a beautiful sunset and had some drinks. Overall, the customer service was amazing and the hotel was really cool. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful but not able to use pool.”
We stayed on a Saturday night and I had no idea that the rooftop pool hosted parties on the weekends. We got there and there were SO many people and the music (DJ) was so loud. Pool was completely full, and barely any room to actually sit and enjoy the city view. That was my only disappointment BUT I did come in with different expectations. Otherwise, the lobby is beautiful and the rooms. Staff was great. Love the decor and everything was clean. Great location. I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a party vibe on the weekend. I don’t know what it’s like during the weekdays.

Very loud parties on rooftop. Do not get a room on a high floor. These rooms also lack a mini fridge and microwave.

For the Young!”
Nice hotel. But it is for an acquired taste. Not your basic hotel decor or design. Water pipes can get a little noisy at times. Great rooftop!
