A surprise of a hotel”
When I booked this hotel I thought it was going to be just an ordinary hotel, what I didn’t know was it is the best hotel that I have ever stayed in in Galway. It was very easy booking it and checking in. Everything about the hotel was fabulous, the room, the staff, the food. I am quite a seasoned traveller in Galway and have stayed extensively in the Galway city and county area. I can honestly say a very pleasant surprise and for me I won’t be staying anywhere else. Highlight of the stay was the smell of the linens and towels. Would recommend to anyone.

I truly enjoyed my stay here. Both the hotel Management and staff set the example for others to follow in Customer Service, Cleanliness, Maintenanace, and overall my entire experience was exceptional!! Highly recommended to all. Rooms are well maintained and very clean (tv seemed was however a bit too small).

Myself and my partner stayed here for one night and the only disappointment was leaving the next day. Staff in the hotel made our stay, coukdnt have done enough and everyone of them was friendly while all the time maintaining a high standard of service. It makes all the difference when staff are geared towards excellent customer service

Covid is not an excuse for bad organisation”
Big paperwork upon arrival. They even want to print or copy each covid certificate which is exagerated as no other hotel has needed it during two weeks travel. They don't even have a map of the city. Overall, the ratio price-quality was not there for me.

Overpriced, rubbish hotel”
No A/c, bathroom shower head dirty! Hotel is dated. Beds are uncomfortable. Also it's very far from anything. There's a sense of 1980s everywhere in this hotel. Must have been nice when it opened but needs to really be knocked down. Restaurant staff where friendly but im not here to make friends with staff.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, they offer cots and have comfy feeding chairs for babies. They don’t offer baby friendly food options ie kids menu. There is no facilities such as gym or pool but it’s very convenient location for the price. We only needed to take 1 bus into the city Center, walked 10 minutes to the 401 bus. The staff was very friendly and eager to help out.

Good hotel needing upgrade”
This is a lovely hotel which is improved by the staff and food. Rooms are functional but with TV prices being so low they should upgrade the tiny ones they have. Rooms need an upgrade too with bathrooms being outdated. Food was delicious although breakfast can be haphazard with getting tea/coffee and toast punctually. Would recommend as it's best value & so close to the busy city centre

Staff are lovely, helpful and welcoming. Hotel very clean , great parking , very easy access to buses to city . Very nice bar area to relax and sample bar food , but restaurant food is very good too.
