Good but extra cost for parking ”

With the cost of staying here, I was surprised that I had to pay a daily $35 fee for parking, would think it was included for guests.

A hotel for the conference, game, concert”

If you are attending a conference in Georgetown, or a baseball match, a music concert, then this hotel is at perfect location. The king room was great size, clean, comfort, and has a good view. The beds and pillows are high standard. The staff were not as friendly as you would expect from a Hilton hotel. You can grab a coffee and snacks in starbucks, dinner the mexican restaurant, both inside the hotel, or walk to Phoenicia to look for variety of foods. This is more of a business hotel, which is great if you are doing a business trip.

Great choice ”

There was a loud noise from the shower due to the water pressure, but on the other hand - tremendous water pressure, so do not complain. The air conditioner did not really heat the room, but luckily it was not needed. The attitude of the staff was excellent. Overall very pleased.

Clean & Comfortable Room”

Next to us was a family with little rowdy kids and either they were beat tired or the sound proofing & wall insulation was great because we did not hear a peep. Beds were very comfortable and the pillows too! Mexican restaurant was so-so. The cafe-bar pasta & chicken w/veggies was delicious.

Parking next door and walk over thru skywalk to check-in. Went to Pappasitos for dinner which was located just off the lobby and then walked next door to Hugh Jackman concert. The staff was very welcoming, the location perfect for an overnight stay and for going to concert. Looking forward to another concert to go to and stay overnight.

If you have activities at George R. Brown Conevtion Center”

The perfect location if you visit events at GRB Houston. Hotel is connected by a skybridge. It's a bit costly, but very convinient to stay here, service is outstanding, excellent breakfast. There are few spots, e.g. the Grove, in walking distance for good food and drinks.

I guess my expectations were just too high”

Beautiful property, great location, housekeeping excellent. Lighting in room poor only lamps no ceiling or wall lights. Mgmt have tried hard to rectify with good number of lamps throughout room. Their Interior designers should be banished!!! No mini bars, no bottled water, minimal bathroom amenities. I thought this was 5 star property so my mistake. Staff on desk and in breakfast room not to the usual standard I have encountered at other Hilton’s. this property just lacked any staff pride. Maybe due to huge conference business.

The place is very nice. Experience was memorable. We watch the NBA game Rockets vs Warriors and Toyota Center is just beside Hilton. Very clean and the lobby is very beautiful.

Good, clean hotel. But not many attractions around the hotel. Good to stay for Toyota center events. A few nice restaurants to eat in the park opposite. But if you need late night supper, there is a Papa Joe's that opens til late at the ground floor of the hotel.

Overnighter ”

Great service at the front counter upon arrival. Access to the R24 executive lounge was greatly appreciated. 5 minutes walk to Minute Maid park, the George R. Brown convention centre. Great parkland right out the front of the hotel to stretch your legs and grab a peaceful moment whilst being in the middle of downtown.

Very nice”

Nice stay, comfortable clean room. Staff was great, from those working the sidewalk and concierge to the people at the desk and the restaurant. Next to the Toyota Center which is probably convenient to most, far from the location of my conference.
