Weekend trip to Gøteborg”

Had a fun weekend in Gøteborg at Gothia hotel. The trip was short so we were not able to fully explore the city. Hotel was very close to main attractions such as liseberg and universeum. The personell in the reception were nice and friendly. Breakfast was also good.

Sjukt dyrt men helt ok”

Rummet var stort och välstädat. Men med den pengen man betalar hade jag inte förväntat mig något annat. Däremot så är det så fruktansvärt fult med glasväggar till toaletten. Vill man verkligen se siluetten från sin respektive/barn/kollega/vem-man-nu-delar-rum-med när dom sitter och gör nr 2? Plus att man väcker den andra om man ska gå på toa mitt på natten. Sen är jag inte jättelång, men toalettstolen är fan gjord för jättar. Man fick lägga toarullar på golvet för att kunna nå. Det må låta som ett skämt men det är det inte. Jag avskyr höga toalettstolar. Personalen var jättetrevlig men extremt långsamma vid incheckningen. Fem personer jobbade men enbart två var aktiva i incheckningen, dom andra bara gick runt där och såg vilse ut. Dock var dom jättetrevliga. ACet i rummet var väl sådär. Tur att det inte var en hett dag för det hade nog inte blivit speciellt kallt, fast vi hade på kallaste inställt.

The spa tub was disappointing apart from that, everything else was beautiful and especially the resting area in the lobby. Very cosy.

I'm only writing reviews, if I have been upset or impressed. This time, I was impressed. Super friendly personnel, from reception over housekeeping to breakfast services. We arrived late evening on Thursday and checked in. I phoned the hotel on the same afternoon to ensure that the room booked, will be equipped with two queen size beds, as selected from the choice between two queen to one king sized bed. I was told that they try to accommodate such wishes, but can't guarantee. They haven't had any such room available in the price category booked. But, the receptionist told me, "know what? No prob., I will upgrade you guys to a higher room category", this also included to be in tower three and have access to the outstanding view providing breakfast restaurant on 29th floor. We got a bottle of champagnes as a greeting from the house too. So, super positive experience provided by super service oriented staff throughout our entire stay! Keep it up! Rooms and all amenities are well maintained and clean.

Asaide from ny kids not being able to swim which is why I booked one night here. the hotel was big. Too big. The room was ok with very sparse minibar and toiletries. Some staff were good. Some staff were dismal

Very good location, friendly and nice staff, amazing room with a view on Liseberg, beautiful spa with all the facilities you need to have a relaxing moment! We will come back!

Great location , excellent service ”

The hotel was beautiful but the rooms a bit small. The staff were friendly and I was surprised by the complimentary sparkling wine in the room. The didn't refresh the bottled water every day but otherwise everything else was great. Good breakfast spread at the 29th floor.

Also posted on TA: I had one night at this hotel in connection with a concert at Ullevi. The hotel is easy to get to from the highway, and while it's located a little outside the center of the city, it's still a pretty good location. There's only a short walk into the center, and there's several public transportation options. You can get to Ullevi stadion in about 10 mins, and the hotel is just across from the Liseberg Amusement Park. From the outside, the hotel looks pretty impressive. It's a complex of three massive towers, with a modern and kinda futuristic look. We had a great room on the 22nd floor with sweeping views of the aforementioned Liseberg park, and the huge ferris wheel. The room itself was relatively spacious, with comfy beds and the basic amenities. Good TV but no mini bar. The bathroom was also fairly large. The hotel had free Wi-Fi - always a good touch - and a number of restaurants, including a lobby bar that was open 24/7. The hotel also offered a spa, with an interesting outdoor pool. You'll have to see it to believe it! We got an amazing deal on a room from agoda.com - paying just a little north of $100 for one night. For such a low price, I think we got an amazing hotel room in a great property. Strongly recommended for a stay in Gothenburg!

Huge awesome hotel”

Only stayed for a few days, in general the hotel is awesome. The bed was SO AMAZING OMG!!!! So Comfy, I didn't want to get up in the morning. Breakfast food is good and lots to choose from, but the breakfast hall is over crowded with people :( I would stay here again for sure.
