Everything. Particularly impressive was the welcome morning breakfast without a question . Breakfast was fantastic . Front office staff (Jennifer ) was amazing and helped me tremendously . Actually I booked the hotel room for 8 nights but for an unforeseen circumstances we have to leave early . She made the nescessary arrangement for me regards to the refund from Agoda for early check for 2 nights Location was perfect 5 mins walk to subway. Room was clean and tidy. Experience for yourself to find out !

Good hotel near subway”
This is a great hotel to stay at when the Manhattan hotels are too expensive. Located between two subway stations with another two stations within walking distance and several food stores close by. Serves a good breakfast, it's very clean and the staff is great. The water pressure is weak on the 9th floor, but that's about the only bad thing I have to say about the hotel.

No fancy frills a good hotel with a breakfast that is good to start the day. ”
The location of the hotel is excellent 2 stops from Manhattan & all the other major lines for the subway at 3 stations within a very short walking distance. The neighbourhood is fine a few restaurants diners & casual cafe’s. A very good supermarket 2 mins walk front the hotel. For anyone wanting to economise & not have the hugely inflated Manhattan prices this is a great option

It makes no sense to pay all of money for a good room and even buy entrees from the same hotel and they have inaccurate pictures of food from google or Pinterest and food is regular freezer food for $10 a plate and to make matters worse you buy all this food thinking you could warm it up after it gets cold...NOPE no microwave throughout the whole hotel even in your pricey high floor suite so be cautious of this diamond in the ruff

Well, the facility was great, and staff members were professional. Breakfast was satisfactory, too. My favourite part was the great cafe near buy, which sells probably the best coffee and food in NY. But the problem with this hotel is HIGHWAY. I was given a room right next to the highway, and it was impossible to get a sleep. I managed to change the room, but it was still looking over the highway, noisy. So if you are at here for business trip I would not recommend this place, unless the hotel give you assuarance that they will give you a room which is far away from the highway.

Air conditioner ”
I was in room 501 and I had ask for someone to help with A/C.. first call they tell me they’ll send someone but 45 minutes later no one shows. I call back and they tell me they didn’t know what room I was in but it was discussed in the first call! He again tells me he will send someone up again and in less than 10minutes soneone was there. This person plays around with the thermostats and then tells me everything is good now.. the room NEVER cool down.. we were in a heated room and it wasn’t that cold outside.. that was very uncomfortable. NOW, the blinds.. blinds didn’t go all the way up and eventually we gave up on it and left it alone but on Saturday we left for the day and came back in the evening just to find the blinds on the floor. At this point I hope they DO NOT charge me for that because we didn’t even know that thing fell off since we were gone!! I just feel like it was a left over room that was given to us and due to fear for more charge I avoided to ask for another room but really that room was not pleasant!

Very good hotel with best location ”
Very good hotel with very near to subway to travel to all locations in New York . Only negative part is they didn’t had any options of vegetarian food in breakfast . If you are vegetarian you better skip the breakfast. After requesting the manager also we couldn’t get vegetarian options in breakfast

We are happy to find this hotel. Good price and not too far away from subway. Breakfast is good. The only thing is that if you are a sensitive to noise. The room window is next to the road. Other than that I have no complains.

Affordable Hotel with spacious and clean Rooms”
The Hyatt Place Long Island is a modern, reasonably priced and well maintained Hotel in the Queens/Astoria area. Having been in New York on several occasions before, I didn't mind (read: appreciated) not staying too close to Times Square and the Manhattan mid-town area. Still, if so required, there's subway stations within walking distance taking you to Port Authority and right into the bustle in less than 20 minutes (walking to the subway station included). The hotel itself, as stated above, is very clean, staff are friendly, rooms are - especially compared to anything remotely affordable in Manhattan - very spacious and well lit. There's breakfast as well which I unfortunately didn't get to try, as the bed was just too comfy. The area around the hotel offers a few nice bars, places to eat and a cute coffee place right around the corner as well as grocery stores nearby. In short: I would definitely book the place again.
