Beautiful place to stay!”

Had a great time at his hotel, booked the dorm initially but moved to a private room, very spacious and clean. The view from the pool is amazing, especially at sunset! The food was good and reasonably priced, the chicken burger was delicious. Staff were helpful and friendly, the bar man Simon was informative and fun to talk to and hang out with during the day, I wish I could stay longer but only 28 days in the country!

They have simple double - houses and from some them you can see the sea. They are really amazing sunsets, it's on a little hill, so I can confirm that is amazing view from here. Part of stuff are English speaking volunteers, so you will not have a problem with communication :) Rooms are nice, comfortable bed, tv, refrigerator, everything ok. They have a restaurant with great local food for a fair prices. Western food lovers can order local hamburgers, they are really good too. During January 2019 it was electricity only at night - from 18 to 6, but they have solar panels, so you can charge your phone at the reception. We enjoyed our staying here and we can recommend it to visit.

Managers and staff here are excellent. All work to ensure your stay is a good one. Breakfast is filling and has multiple options. The pool is clean and a great place to enjoy the views. A quick walk to the beach and snorkeling at lovers island. Reception has rentals for snorkeling, motorbikes, etc and can book your bus, tours, massage, etc. A great place to come relax, enjoy, and explore. If I'm in Myanmar again I will be going back for sure!

It’s about 3-4km from the actual town which end I also stayed at, I think the beach this end is nicer and good coral to snorkel just off the rocks of lover island, beach is less than ten mins walk-ask staff closest access point. They hire scooters if u want to get around and Alan the guy that runs the place is an absolute legend and even took me on a full day trip down to Chaung thar beach crossing 6 rivers on the return trip, biking up beaches for kms and threw jungle etc. the staff there also helped contact my bus I got there cause I stupidly left a bag on it. The pool is amazing and great at sunset too, free breakfast is good. Would def stay here again, just ask the staff if there’s anything u need and they can help-even calling a guy on a bike to take u down the rd for bottles of whiskey and drop you back again haha no power 6am-6pm in this area but u can charge phone/power banks in the reception or bar cause they run solar

View on Lover's island, access to local beach, no hot water.”

Bungalows and bathrooms are wide, A/c and power is only at night. Staff is super friendly. The pool is clean. They are a member of Myanmar Trash Hero sustainable waste management campaign, but hills of plastic bottles still flourish in the back. Variety of western and local food is good. Not suitable for people with mobility issues due to their location on the hill with a lot of stairs, but good price/quality ratio for budget travelers. And great view on the sea. Also the greatest traditional burmese massage option.

Not as expected ”

The location of the hotel was good however all facilities were aged. Room could do with upgrading. Annoyingly electricity is not available during the day. I didn’t find this hotel to be value for money. I would expect more for the price paid. I booked a room with sea view but didn’t have a sea view. My door to my room was continuously jamming and last day wouldn’t lock. Staff were friendly. The pool was ok.

Good place for free lifestyle travellers, pool bar is a must at night time”

Good for solo traveler, family and youth. You can enjoy sea view with fresh air, but not at beachfront. 10mins walk to lover’s island. Quiet and staffs are friendly. Rooms are Ok, but not so grand. You must enjoy super cheap (but good) cocktail at bar on night time. Recommend for their homemade sandwich. Good place to release your urban stress. Thumbs up.

Everything really good, the pool was great. The only problem there was always water on the bathroom floor, a little unpleasant but the staff was responsive offering me another room and at one point came in to try to get rid of the water. I believe this was a structural problem, uneven floors. I fully recommend this hotel.

the thing you re not expecting”

The best thing in that guesthouse was the swimming pool. The manager alan is the only guy friendly and helpful otherwise burmese staff don t speak english some few words they don t treat you right to me and they don t care Suggestion Water matress or tube to chill in swimming Pool Put bigger blanket for dormrooms Small led light on each beds dorm Otherwise quite fair for the price

I got there at 4am and they welcomed me really good. The staff is very friendly. Nemo is a great manager always checking that everything is alright, he helped me a lot, thanks!! The views from the swimming pool are amazing, stunning sunsets from there. Because is low seasons the bar is not open but it look pretty cool( i need to come back in high season) There is no electricity from 6am to 6pm so its really hot in the room.

Dirty walk way to approach beach”

Best value for your money, You need to keep follow up if you want room cleaning or towels. Street to beach is very dirty, It may be because of continuous raining. you need to cross a dirty water to reach beach. Hotel run by few foreigners they are helpful and try to solve your problem. Conclusion is dont keep your expectations high when you are paying very less, price is very fair as per the rooms comfortableness.

A bit far from downtown, BUT if you love quite place, here is nice”

the hotel is about 10 minutes motorbike ride from downtown( where the bus drop you at) . You will have to take bike for 10-15 minutes or walk 40 Minutes perhaps. The place is quite and peaceful. You can just walk to the beach like less than 10 minutes. Rooms and the canteen (place you take the breakfast and swimming pool) , you can see a bit the view of sea and chill there)

Happy camper indeed. Extended my stay for 2 more days, very good deal for stay with swimming pool on site. Staff always help full and can recommened some trips etc for people who is not only keen on beach.

The perfect place to spend some quiet and relaxed days”

We (2 friends traveling) have booked that place for only 1 night but ended up staying there for almost two weeks. The Hotel is only a few minutes walk from the beach and the hotel offers a pool as well. We have enjoyed beautiful sunsets there. If you stay there you feel welcome. Just be open to the staff and ask if you need anything. I would definitely stay there again. I already miss that place.

Stayed 1 nights for leisure in Ocober, 2018. It is located in beautiful area. Restaurants are a little pricey but foods are great. I enjoyed the pool with sea view at hilly access are awesome. Beautiful view with calm and quiet place. I met Mr.Alan Craigen (General Manager) and we had a drink and our conversation was fantastic on his holiday. He is good in building conversation and he can handle guest relation service as well. It is a really great place to stay in Ngwe Saung.

The view from the resort is gorgeous! Close to the beach. Room was very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful, many speak English. Breakfast was very fulfilling. Definitely will be back!!!
