Olly’s a family environment made right for travelers!”
I recently stayed at Olly’s bar and hostel. It was my first time at a hostel. I was a little nervous but Golf and Holly made the experience well worth it. The bathrooms were very clean. I was very impressed with that. The bed caves you sleep in were nice as well. They have a light for personal use which is helpful. My favorite area is around the bar. They have great places to sit. On stools or pillows which is great for hanging out and good conversation. The best part is the hosts. Holly and Golf are great hosts. They informed me about great places to eat and to drink! Plus, where the bests beaches are. If you are lucky Golf will catch and cook squid for you. That is on special occasions! This was a great 1st experience at a hostel. I highly recommend this place to solo and duo travelers Thai and Farang.

Perfect Stay”
This was an exceptionally clean, welcoming, and fun stay. The central location is great, with an easy, fun walk to the nearest beach. The couple that owns the hostel will treat you like family. You have the freedom to do your own thing, or take advantage of their local knowledge and try out some of the many cool things to do on the island. They are always available if you have any questions about where to go to snorkel, squid fish, stand up paddle board, party, or just relax on the beach. The A/C is kept at a good temperature and the showers have ample hot water. The bed "cubbies" were actually very comfortable, and came equipped with a power outlet inside, and a sliding door that you can close and lock for privacy. The hostel is cleaned daily and was immaculate. Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

Home away from home”
I have the best 5days staying at Sundaze. Aside from the perfect location just less than 5min walk from the pier and less than 10min walk to the beach. The hostel is always clean specially the toilet and the shower. And what i liked and appreciate the most was how warmed and welcoming Golf and Holly are. They make sure you will get the best service, helped you out with anything you need, even suggesting best beach to go, places must visit and restaurant must try. So rest assured you will get way more than you expected in a hostel. Plus they have an amazing and the sweetest dog bamboo. And most importantly it’s very homey and that’s for me matters the most. ❤️

Fantastic hostel with a very friendly atmosphere.”
Olly is a great host, very friendly and made sure everyone had enough air con and that the hostel was clean at all times. Made the effort to learn and remember each guests name which was a nice touch. He also provided suggestions on places to go for dinner that did not disappoint. I like how the dorms are laid out with sliding doors, gives that extra layer of privacy and the AC still keeps your bed cool. The breakfast in the mornings was really good and great value for money. The common area out front was very confortable and a great way to relax in the evenings and good for meeting people. If im ever back in koh samet ill make sure to come back here again. Could not reccomend enough.

Best hostel at Koh Samed !!!”
This hostel is the best at Koh Samed. Well situated on the Main Street , easy to find food and reach the beach. The room and hostel in general is very clean. A very good vibes and perfect to meet other travelers !! Special mention to the owner Olly and Golf who take care of customers , very helpful and kind !! They feel you at home. Best squid sashimi in this place !! It’s a 11/10 !!

Great hostel not far from the beach”
As a solo traveler, this hostel was perfect for me. I met a great guy to travel with in the hostel and the owner was a very funny and friendly guy. He even went to a bar with us in the evening. The sanitation was very clean and the beds give you enough privacy.

Best Hostel Ever!”
Had the best night at Koh Samet and defo one of my favs hostels! Clean, well maintained, walking distance from and to the pier and super cozy! Thanks Olly and Golf for the accommodation and for helping me get the discounted bike 😁! Big help bro! I will miss Bamboo (their pet cutiee dog-cant upload a video) :(( hahaha See you in Chiang Mai! ✌️🤪

Great dorm, hot showers, awesome owners, very clean, comfy bar area”
Great Hostel! Interesting (nice) dorm concept, kind of like a spacious capsule with privacy. Adjacent hot showers. The owners are really great and friendly, they take care of you and are chatty if you want to and leave you alone when you want to. Very comfy (small) bar area with clean pillows. Overall very clean! You can also book through their Facebook page by contacting them. I stayed a week and enjoyed it very much.

Really nice place and nice owners! Even if it's a dorm, you can have your own privacy which is really cool! Few minutes by walking to the next beach and surrounded by restaurants! Definitely would recommend! ;)

Everything was great but the bed was made from leather and covered with bed sheets which makes you heat a lot and you close the capsule door and there’s no air coming in. The staff were really amazing. Helpful, was perfect and makes you want to return. We had the chance to meet the owners who also were amazing people. Thanks for everything.

The staff at the hostel was great, but some showers didn't have warm water, and two of the four shower heads were broken. Also, the size of the cube you may get varies a lot. Some were just twin beds, but some cubes could be at least a double bed.

One of the best hostel in Koh Samet”
The hostel is clean, room is wide enough with plug-in to charge your devices and the shower, toilet are also clean as well. The hostel owners (Golf and Hollie) are amazing and you feel welcome once you arrive to the hostel.

One of the best hostels in Thailand!”
I originally booked 1 night for a friend and I here, but we ended up staying for 6 nights. Golf is an amazing host and keeps the hostel so clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy and very private even in a dorm. There was a nice social area and a great vibe all around. The location is very good. Close to the pier so easy to reach by foot, and surrounded by shops to get bikes, laundry and food. Only 5 minutes from the beach too! Can’t recommend this enough for solo or small groups of travellers!
