An ancient hotel with modern rooms”
At night if you turn left it seems that the hotel is in a bad location but if you turn right you will find that it is close to a main street and active at night.

We had a great experience at this hotel. Staff was super nice and friendly. Including the nurse to came to the hotel to get our Covid test (which it was booked at the front desk) The beautiful setting is a great addition.

Nice classic friendly hotel”
We stayed in the Savoy Hotel on and off from 1st to 15 Feb., as a base for excursions before a cruise. We have a lot of luggage to store in the hotel in between our excursions, with n charge, and the hotel staff was very helpful, The location is central and we can walk to nice restaurants all around the hotel. The front desk staff are friendly, knowledgeable and speaks good English.

Beautiful historic building, and nice people in general. ”
The hotel is very nice, and 90% of the personnel is very kind and willing to help. The reception clerks were not so helpful, and the one of the day of the check out was definitely not nice (unfortunately I don't remember the name) A bad closing for a very nice experience. For the rest, the place is clean and elegant. Just a remark: the coffee that is served with the breakfast tastes plastic, we had to order or own separate coffees to drink with the breakfast.

Unfortunately if you book a three bedroom at this hotel all the three bedrooms of this hotel has a third bed that s a sofa bed, uncomfortable and small, but you pay for a full standard bed. DISONEST DESCRIPTION! And when you ask the staff of the hotel the simple answer is, all our extra bed is like this, sorry if we do not mention! But you pay a full price divided 3.

Updated iconic hotel”
Built in 1910 this hotel has been kept updated to current standards. Guests include Einstein in 1925 and Evita in 1950. The decoration is outstanding. Nice breakfast. Access to lobby by car is safe. Large and comfortable bedroom. Staff are very helpful. Superb location. I recommend highly this hotel.

Not bad”
This is not a bad hotel in a central location in Buenos Aires. A little old but we liked the vintage appeal, and the rooms are a decent size. The breakfast buffet has a lot of variety but is the same every day. We had a lot of trouble finding a Sube card to take the metro and one of the receptionists was so kind to lend us hers!

So good, I booked again”
Just look at the photo. This is the bar, located just beyond the lobby. Impressive, does not even start to describe atmosphere. After a day of sightseeing, I relaxed here with a cappuccino. So chic, so lavish, so comfy. Located on 181 Avenida Callao, 250m from the National Congress Building and about 1.5klm to the Obelisk (and CBD). If you follow Callao about 3-4 klms you'll reach Palermo and the Botanical Gardens, passing the Ateneo Grand Splendid. The most beautiful bookstore in Buenos Aires, and perhaps the world. Hotel boasts very high ceilings, over 3m, probably over 4m. Has a good breakfast buffet in relative terms (better than the Marriot and the Palacio), a small gymnasium but no pool. A taxi to most tourist hotspots will be about 700-900pesos. Pay cash and save. In the CBD, cambio rates are 370-380pesos =$1USD. Credit cards will only give you 125pesos. Some local banks may give 180-190pesos. Rates valid Feb 2023.

Old World Grandeur ”
Lavish, and eloquent. The public areas are stunning, representing only the very best from a bygone era. Designed to lure overseas political figures to stay for the sitting of the National Congress (inaugurated 1906 and is only around 250m away on Avenida Calloa). Rooms are modern and have basic amenities, however the very high ceilings recll the splendor of it's original purpose. To impress it's guests.

Helpful staff, nice room”
Really enjoyed our stay at the Savoy. The staff was very helpful. They scheduled taxis for us and held our bags after we checked out and before we needed to get to the airport. The room was nice, but I recommend double checking that you will get 2 twin beds rather than a king, if that's what you want. I made the mistake of not checking. Great breakfast buffet with a large selection. Walking distance to many main attractions. We didn't use public transportation, but it is very close to the hotel, and I imagine easy to use.
