기본 물품이 부족하고 엘리베이터가 없음”
헤어드라이어, 면도기, 칫솔, 비누 등 기본적 물품이 없어 편의점에서 사야만 했고 엘리베이터가 없어서 짐을 올리고 내리는데 힘들었다. 청소가 안 되어 있어 침구에 얼룩이 있는 등 더럽다. 냉장고는 없으나 생수는 두병 준다.

By the time i arrived, the hotel was closed due to covid-19. Luckily sovotel got another branch at the same location. And the other branch willing to take my booking.. My question is why the sovotel uptown 36 open for booking when the hotel itself is close? Why? Why?

Nice hotel at a great location”
The hotel is nice overall especially because of the great location, near to a lot of eateries and Starling shopping mall is just 5mins walking. Staff is ok, wifi provided in room (but I didn't use it). My main complaint is about the cleanliness of my room, upon checking in, I found there's a used tissue on the toilet sink, and also rubbish on the floor, drawer left opened. And there's also some stain on the duvet.

Room is clean. But was not made up neither did they change towels. Fortunately, I am use to reusing towels and have a habit of hanging it to dry for another days usage. Put a sign to make up room but nothing was done. Overall still will book this place again on my next visit.

It is easy to access stalls nearby. If you get hungry at night dont worry cause there alot of 24hours mart you can go such as Family Mart, 7e amd MyNews. There are also Mamak and Texas.

The room is very small and not sound proof. I got charge for a penalty of rm20 for late checkout about 10minutes. The staff is very strict with time. After all, the location is very good as u can easily find food and family mart is just behind the hotel.

No lift”
There is no lift in the hotel and my room was on the second floor which is the highest floor. I have to climb upstairs with all my luggages. I booked family room and there is a foot massager shown in the photo however in the room there are no foot massager and reception explained that all the machines are broken, and suggusted me to book Sovotel 28 for my next visit (which is just 2-3 lots beside) where is newly built and all rooms were occupied with foot massager. Other than that is okay.

i have been staying here many times during my travel to kl but too disappointing the frequent i come the lesser the hotel providing toiletries in the room. Sometimes i need to come down again to get it from the receptionist. Need to upgrade on that facility. Others are fine :)
