Absolute value-for-money”
We had an excellent 2-day stay at Magmai. I'm a picky customers for hotels, but here I really couldn't find anything wrong. The staff all very young, eager to help, was perhaps what I appreciated the most. I found breakfast absolutely acceptable for the hotel's price and category. The place was very quiet except for some motorboat noise coming up from the lake from time to time, but not audible inside the rooms. Strongly recommended.

Great hotel within mins walk to the Mon bridge, rooms a bit dated, but everything worked ok, tv signal indifferent and breakfast a bit limited, staff very happy to help, views from room 212 are breath taking over the river, would definitely stay again, next time for longer,

Excellent location to Mon Bridge”
Hotel location is excellent that walk about 5-10 min reach Mon Bridge. Early morning 6.30am have culture observations of Mon ethnic groups at Mon Village. Hotel is clean. Have dinner in hotel which is delicious and price reasonable. Breakfast is taste good too. Staff are friendly.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and clean with beautiful lake view from the balcony. Walking distance to Mon bridge, which is 850m long to Mon village. At the village, there are many stalls selling souvenirs

A nice hotel”
We stayed at this hotel to be near the Mon Wooden Bridge. We were not disappointed...the location is great. Easy to walk to the bridge so you can get to see it at night and early morning when the monls are walking around. The stff were very good. The rooms were clean and cool. We would stay at thyis hotel again.

Walking distance to Mon's bridge”
The resort is nearby to Mon's bridge, the main attraction of Sangkhaburi with a couple minutes walking. The view from the room was nice. The bridge could be seen from the balcony of my room. Cleanliness was quite an issue during my stay. There are spider web near the A/C and the toilet flush handle was incorrectly installed. Overall, it was a nice hotel to stay in the area for our visit to Mon's bridge and attend the alms giving ceremony at 6:30 AM in the Mon Village across the bridge.

Good price for a night”
The hotel is near Mon Bridge. Though we can not see the bridge through our room, the view is still very beautiful. The hotel is eco-friendly, so they do not supply the tooth brush and tooth paste. You can buy it from the hotel or bring your own.

Hotel located at a practical location, but look for alternatives”
+ good location: very close to the north side of the bridge + kind front desk personnel offering help. - room had an awfully noisy airco about to breakdown; but the complaint was initially completely ignored by the staff. Got eventually another room after returning to the front desk. - hours of free, loud karaoke in the evening hours from fellow guests. No thanks.

Suan Magmia is an undiscovered gem. Lack of English amongst the staff may challenge some non Thai speaking tourists but they DO understand and speak a little- I think just a little shy. Thank you to "S" doing her hospitality training, my stay was perfect. As with many Thai resorts, decoration is a little quirky so if you want a Hilton experience, don't stay here. The views from the room are fantastic overlooking the lake, the Wat and the temple as the clouds lift in the early morning. Also very close to the Mon Bridge and about 1-2km from the market and shops. Ask for a map- although in Thai, it is informative.

Amazing Restaurant, Great Experience”
The restaurant here makes great food and it is in a prime location to ride the boats on the lake or walk along the wooden bridge in the morning. The room was clean with the only exception being some ants that would come in whenever we left a tiny bit of food out. That was a little annoying but seems to occur often in Thailand

This hotel has a really excellent location and great views. The restaurant wasn't great but there are options right down the road at the market area. A few ants in the room but they weren't really a problem. Lovely balcony with that nice view across the river. Staff were friendly.

Great stay”
I only stayed here for a night, but it was a great stay. The location is very convenient, it's like a 2 minute walk to the bridge. The options for breakfast are fairly limited, but it was good. The staff there were very friendly. Specifically, the owner (I think) is such a kind person and takes the time to chat with you a bit while checking in or if he sees you around at the hotel. The only downside is that the wifi connection was not very stable, which was not an issue for me since I used my phone connection as a personal hotspot, but for others this may be a bit of a problem.
