The picture of the rooms must be from when the building was new. Gave me a filthy fan room, I asked for a/c. Change rooms for a/c no widows filthy red sheets on the rock hard bed. Asked for towels and blanket. Towels stained and blanket torn. Bathroom was filthy. Put the blanket on the bed and slept on top of that. Didn't shower , to filthy. Got up in the morning and booked another place( transit hotel KL) DO NOT BOOK HERE!

The property is in a good location and close to many transport links. Rooms are okay and if you are just looking for a place to put your head down. The bathrooms were okay, sometimes clean sometimes not just depended on what staff were working

Reviews don't tell you what it's really like (in our opinion). We are experienced travellers and happy to put up with crappy accommodation but felt we were mislead by the reviews of this place Pros -location - close to train station and Chinatown -AC worked -staff friendly -free water and breakfast (but breakfast is only toast) Cons -tiny rooms with dangerous electrical sockets - all sinks smell of sewage - toilet/shower areas need more regular cleaning -bathrooms

I've already been here 2 or 3 times, the place is really good, quiet, clean, safe and the people at the reception are really kind and helpful. Perfect location for exploring the city, close to lots of food stalls and to the public transportations (there is a free bus). Good value for what u pay.

The place is really quiet and clean. They are always cleaning everything and taking care of the place. The staff is nice. A good place to stay and relax in the heart of Chinatown. Good for a quiet stay!

This is for backpackers and solo travellers - strictly no-frills B&B style. Even the room with single-bed has no built-in showe / toilet, and TV with limited local channels. However, it is well located - with the Pasar Seni LRT station - and Chinatown - just a short walk. Hence, given its relatively low rate, no fuss solo travelers may wish to consider staying at this joint.

The location is good but the lady is so unhelpful.Just keeps her earphones on the whole day and doesn't answer . Check out is 12, we thought it is at 1 so we went to check out at 12:25. She charged us extra 10$ for the 25 minutes although all rooms were empty and nobody was waiting ! If asked for deposit for the key make sure you get a receipt otherwise she may make a story to keep it . It happened with another guests too The other guy is helpful and friendly . The hotel is close to MTR and well located .toilets and bathroom are shared and dirty .

I stayed in lebuh pudu's so I will make the review of Lebuh pudu's . Good stay and perfectly fine for those plan to have a short trip esp backpackers who are on budget

i find Submarine Guest house - Chinatown a pleasant place to stay within chinatown district because of the good and friendly service from its staff.

Nice and clean, very similar to Suzie's Guesthouse which is across the road, if you can stay there instead but this is a nice alternative if not available.

Close to public transportation, only 150 meters to MRT & city bus station, 750 meters to intercity bus station. Budged hostel & clean.
