You won’t be disappointed if you stay here. Amazing hosts, very friendly service, beautiful quiet and peaceful location, animals and nature on your doorstep. Feeding goats and ducks a lot of fun. Room is clean and well decorated with lots of lovely little touches. Comfortable bed and cosy room. Do yourself a favour and stay here, you won’t regret it!!

Perfect getaway for couples and families with young children. My son simply love the place and enjoyed his time with the ducks, dog and goats in the homestay. Owners of the homestay are very approachable. Room is well kept and clean. This homestay is built with scenic view and fresh air. Highly recommended.

Splendid Experience”
Besides the scenic view in the premises of the villa and the relaxing environment, it is obvious that every single detail of the room was very well thought of. It's cozy, spacious and we love the over-all design. Staff were very helpful, especially the owner who assisted us, gave us food for the ducks (our baby was very entertained) and even helped us bring our luggages to the pick up point for our transportation. We recommend this place to anyone, especially for families with little kids!

I have been to taiwan for 4th time. My expectation of a b&b is extremely high. Summer rock is excellent in all aspects. Beautiful environment, super clean big room, picture perfect outdoor, cute animals, smell nice room, free essential oils if stay more than 1 night & free tea break. Breakfast is yummy and healthy.

Great hospitality children love the place”
My boys aged 9 and 11 absolutely loved the place. The feeding of ducks, goats, climbing of trees thrilled them enormously. The bosses were so friendly and constantly found new experiences for them. The adults (me, my husband and my mum) were blown away when the car first drove into the compound. The view of the lake and the well kept landscape gave the place a lovely tranquil feel and the space available makes you feel at peace with the place. we spent a lot of time in the resort. The boys were never bored. We loved the breakfast too, both western and Chinese. Porridge well cooked is blissful for us. The owners and managers demonstrated genuine warmth and were always ready to offer help, be it to source for alternative transport or eateries. The place offers no lunch and dinner though but it wasn't a problem for us as we packed dinner back on nights we were too lazy to stay out late. Lovely place. My sons were already asking to come back even before we left.

Comfortable getaway from the city”
The villas are about 20mins car/taxi ride away from Hualien city, but it’s very convenient to get around. From Hualien airport or Hualien train station, the villa offers a pick up service (~NT300), otherwise there are a lot of taxi at the back exit of Hualien taxi. Staff were extremely helpful, also offered us a taxi call number (as convenient as uber) that’s dial-free, and by calling, the drivers give you a discount than if you flag one off the road. Room always smell great because of the essential oils the owners extract personally. Breakfast was a wholesome burger meal with lots of tropical fruits and a drink of ur choice. Stayed in a family room for 4 which is located on the second floor. Air is very fresh even during the hotter summer-autumn transition period when I went (sep). Appreciated their lovely hosting.

Great place to relax”
Very comfortable place to relax. Big, beautiful and clean room and facility are good. The Villa owners is a senior couple and they are very friendly and helpful. The view is great and they have a pond with many cute ducks. Remember to bring insect repellent and then you can enjoy feeding the ducks anytime you like. The only problem is the location, you will have to call taxi to go outside. There are only three restaurants around that area. You're better to book them before going there or you may found them closed just like what we did. Luckily the Villa owner found us and lent us bicycles to go to another shop.

Peaceful lovely villa amongst various rural farms. Beautiful scenes. Not that accessible less you drive or hire private cars. Otherwise the villa is a perfect small paradise for a getaway trip. Good for kids.

Like visiting your grandparents”
We LOVED this place. Our children aged 6 and 4 were so happy here. The couple who run it are kind people who love to engage with their guests. As soon as we got there the girls were taken off to feed the goats. They loved feeding the ducks, giving them a shower, walking the friendly dogs, collecting eggs, feeding the goats and 'catching' fish. We really could have stayed on the property the whole time. The room and reception/restaurant are very stylish and the view outside is stunning. The owners are kind people who do everything they can to make your stay a great one. Our youngest daughter was sick and they helped us located the hospital and when we left to return to the airport they gave us some snacks. My husband and I both said we felt like we were visiting grandparents. We would return in a heartbeat!

Out of expectation”
Place is suitable for chilling and spending quality time among family members... my toddler girl gets to run around on the vast space it offers, had fun feeding the ducks and tried cycling. My father is old and staying in the ground level is very ideal. Very picturesque lodge with the majestic mountains as backdrops. Owner and staffs are friendly and accommodating. Not near major streets with shops and only provide western breakfast (they are so kind to make special arrange for my baby girl - congee meal for her)
