Great stay”
The people is friendly, everything is clean. Our ac wasn’t working good and they fix it right away. The pool is amazing. We had a great time and we will consider four our next trip to Koh Tao

This is my 4th times staying at this resort. they have a service to pick up you from the pier and welcome drink at the lobby. buffet breakfast and best diving shop with friendly staff and very safe. highly recommended

We asked to be moved to beach zone and they gave us great room directly on the beach. The resort in near the "city" where you have restaurants, shops,... We loved it and would recommend it!

Value of money”
I stayed here for2 nights. I found it very reasonable price especially booking through Agoda and coronavirus made the rate below. Breakfast is exceptional. Swimming pools are very clean.

Beautiful view of the ocean”
The Ko Tao Resort was in a beautiful location; our rooms were in the Paradise Zone, so at the top of the hill. This was a long walk down to the ocean (and a huge hike back up to the room), but there was a shuttle that could be called to transport from the upper to lower hotel areas. The hotel was not a quick walk to town to see stores or other restaurants, but the hotel restaurant on the beach (and other beachside restaurants nearby) were nice and affordable. You just had to be patient in waiting for the shuttle van to pick you up. Don't count on great programs on the TV (maybe one or two channels of English language programs); WiFi access was easy. The 2 swimming pools were very nice. I am not sure if you can use the kayaks owned by the hotel, we never asked.

Nice place for relaxing days at the beach! ”
We had a great time at Ko Tao resort. The place is very quiet and idyllic, right next to the beach. The resort has 3 pools (even with transfer uphill) and it's possible to rent kayaks and snorkeling equipment. We got a free transfer from Sairee/to the pier and got a free upgrade to a bungalow at the beach. Hope that the resort will renovate these rooms soon! Thanks to the staff, we really enjoyed staying with you!

A little old, but beautiful located by the beach”
We stayed for 5 nights. The rooms were a little old and could use some renovations. But the location by the Beach is perfect! For the price they ask in low season(25€), its more than fair! The staff is perfectly helpful and friendly. All in all a nice place to stay at the most beautiful Beach on Koh Tao!

Overall nice resort”
We stayed in the Paradise zone, up on the hills - very beautiful place, but when we got there there was construction work so the restaurant was closed, and there was a lot of noice. The room was nice, very big with great view from the balcony. Staff were great too. Also, they have shuttle down to the beach whenever you need until 10PM.

Mixed Feelings”
It’s a mixed bag. The grounds are wonderful, but the room was horribly outdated—by like 20 years. Great pool and right on the beach. Super quiet and secluded cove, but it might be too quiet for some travelers. Perfect for older travelers who want peace and quiet. The staff is great and the breakfast was good and it was made to order. There was one guy who I saw both days at the hotel and I couldn’t figure out if he was staff or worked for the hotel’s diving center next door. He was a cross between Slingblade and Norman Bates. I didn’t like his vibe and wished I had a deadbolt on the door instead of only having the lock on the doorknob and an old slide lock.

Okay Resort for a basic stay”
Nice staff, helpfull whenever needed. If you like peace and quiet, this is the perfect place for you. Free pickup and drop off from/to the Pier which is very nice. If you like a little bit more action/activity or to be among more people, you'll definitely need stay in Mae Haad or even Sairee beach (most busy). To explore the island (which I really recommend!) you Really need a motorbike/scooter. Nice pool and beach directly at the resort, unless you're staying in the mountain bungalows across the street. Definitely not for people who have trouble walking! The gym REALLY needs an upgrade. Really old, smelly. 2 stars for facilities just because of the gym. The rest is okay. My first mountain bungalow had a big cockroach in the bathroom, staff was very understanding and gave me another room closer to the beach. Not on the mountain part of the resort. I got a deal for about 38EUper night, I would not pay anymore for this resort. Maybe the Deluxe/Luxury bugalows are better.

bungalow is Very dirty but superior room is good”
I reserved Bungalow room for 5 night. I checked Room, it was very dirty on ground. I checked Foot tower, it was mess. I suspected clean gecko poo with foot tower. I requested lobby to change tower. but no one came to my room. I did swimming and tried to take shower. Found Dried gecko poo everywhere. poo is dried, it mean no one clean shower room. I surprised. I directly went lobby and complained about it. but no one come. I moved Bed to near wall and found Gecko poo on floor. that time some come and cleaned shower room with broom. So I requested to change Superior room and I pay more money. Superior room is fine and clean. No gecko poo. Recommend to take Superior room not mount side and Bungalow. Manager is very kind and action quickly but other crew is not. I requested to

This was truly "paradise", especially for Koh Tao!”
We were delighted with this new satellite of the Koh Tao Resort where we have stayed before. "Paradise" is way high up in the rocky hills, but an always available free shuttle quickly takes you down to the older beach property and guests are free to use both restaurants and pools....if you want to leave the more private and really superior rooms and facilities. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, quick and cheap laundry service, a fantastic infinity pool and amazing views of the island. The resort also offers a reasonably priced taxi service to other parts of the island- one third the cost of taxis flagged down. As our son lives on Koh Tao, we have stayed at several different hotels in the past, but next time we know that we will return to this one- a real find!

Lovely hotel, would definitely recommend”
me and my boyfriend visited koh tao in march 2012 and stayed at ko tao resort for 4 night. we stayed in the paradise zone, and i was glad we did, it seemed much quiter with a chilled vibe. the beach zone had all of the amenities (note the paradise zone's restaurant had a limited menu for dinner), but the hotel ran a shuttle service every half an hour between the two, as its a very steep climb. the infinity pool was lovely in both areas, but the view from paradise zone was amazing. i'd definitely recommend this hotel, and would love to visit it again.

Great hotel, great views, great room. ”
We booked to stay at the Ko Tao Resort for the first night of our trip to the island but ended up staying for an extra week. We stayed in the Paradise zone which is not directly on the beach but up the hill with fantastic views of the island. The hotel is about a 5 minute drive from the pier where you arrive in Koh Tao and the local taxies all charged 200tb to get the two of us there. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service a couple of times a day into town and every half hour between the Paradise zone and the beach. Although they took us whenever we were ready rather than having to wait for a specific time which was great. The beach by the hotel was much quieter than the main Sairee beach and is stunning with loads of great bars and restaurants. The hotel staff were all lovely and very helpful, a couple of the reception staff were a little more dour but on the whole no complaints. The room was big with a beautiful bathroom and had a balcony with a bath on! Cleaned everyday and had a safe to keep our goodies in if we needed to. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Ko Tao Resort.
