Overall nice resort”
We stayed in the Paradise zone, up on the hills - very beautiful place, but when we got there there was construction work so the restaurant was closed, and there was a lot of noice. The room was nice, very big with great view from the balcony. Staff were great too. Also, they have shuttle down to the beach whenever you need until 10PM.
Lovely location ”
Lovely place, room was a little tired but they gave us a free upgrade to a lovely bungalow. Very spacious and yards from the beach and pool. Staff were very friendly. In a nice part of the island well away from the noisy bars and boy racers on the main beach! Would definitely stay here again!
It was a great place to stay and the staff were wonderful ”
The rooms (I stayed in a bungalow) need major upgrading. I felt like my room was built in the 1970's. For the price I expected a nicer quality room but the location couldn't be beat. I just think I wouldn't stay there again for the price I paid unless the rooms had a major overhaul.
There are actually two resorts for Koh Tao resort. We stayed at the one on the hill. The room was big and the view by the Swimming pool was amazing! We went out for diving very early in the morning and we could not make the time for breakfast. The resort sent the sandwiches to us the night before. They do charge for the late check out so if you don't want to pay extra, you need to leave before 11am.
Amazing view is what I have to say”
We spent 2 nights in Deluxe Paradise room with "jacuzzi" in the room in March 2013. The taxi from the hotel waited for us at the pier and took us to the hotel (20mins journey). The infinity pool with a view of the ocean was just beautiful and we spent many hours hanging off the side of the pool getting lost in the sunset. The rooms were a bit small but very clean and comfortable and cleaned daily. The food was bland and slightly over priced. The poor pressure leads the water in the room for jacuzzi is not hot enough. However, I insist to recommend this hotel.
great way to relax doorstept to beach ”
great island to see at its natural best , bike is best way to get around at your pace . some great isolated areas to explore on land and in the ocean . surprises around each corner up to you to find .
Good location, good view”
The hotel is 10 mins away from the pier which is very easy to travel around. There is taxi service from hotel to everywhere. The privet beautiful beach is impressive. This should be the place for honeymoon or for relaxation rather than party.
Best Value for Hotel Ever !!”
What more to say about this hotel except that its the BEST !!. For the budget we paid for we get to enjoy all the facilities of this hotel as it has many zones , the Beach zone, The mountain view zone and the paradise zone. The pool at paradise zone was magnificent. The beach at koh tao resort beach zone was amazing as well as it has perfectly calm waters no waves yet its in close proximy to the fresh water pool which makes it simply ideal for both likings. The food at the restaurant was also nice n so are the waiters and waitresses. I have to say this would be a hotel we wish to stay once more if we ever come back again
Great roon, good service, good location”
we started off in a "luxury room" at the beach zone. still good value compared to other resorts i've been to in thailand and great room for 2 young kids - big bedroom with 2 double beds, separate living room, big balcony with jacuzzi looking onto the swimming pool and beach, well-fitted with fridge, 2 large tvs, dvd player etc. the beach right at the resort is not the best - quite thin, no shade to sit down for the day, not such good snorkeling. but you can borrow a kayak from the resort and paddle just a few minutes to the next bay, "freedom beach", where you find lovely trees to sit under, great sand for the kids to play and excellent snorkeling. the resort can also organize a long-tail boat day-trip where they take you in your own boat all around koh tao island to the various snorkeling spots, stop for lunch and get back late in the afternoon - reasonably priced and well worth doing. after 4 nights at the beach zone, we moved for the last 2 nights to the "paradise zone". this is the same resort but a newer building at the top of a hill, about 15 minutes walk or a free pick-up truck service from the sea. similarly nice, spacious room, with stunning views of the island and beaches from the balcony jacuzzi. also another swimming pool and restaurant up here. restaurants were quite reasonable, both up at the paradise zone and down on the sea front - good breakfasts and seafood dinner, including a very nice barracuda steak from the bbq.
lovely resort, great beach”
The staff were very helpful - we originally booked for just one night but upon asking to stay on our room had been rebooked so they moved us to a beach front bungalow at no extra charge! The resort is at the end of the island and much quieter than the pier end - the bay and beach are beautiful, the water is a bit cloudy for snorkelling but you can go on boat trips. The restaurant has wonderful food but if you want something a bit less expensive it is just a very short wander to other restaurants.
Nice hotel with good service”
This resort is not on the main Sairee beach which is a nice change but is fairly quiet with not a lot to do (perfect for some). We stayed in the 'Paradise Zone' which had a fantastic view of Shark Bay and Sai Nuan Beach. Our room was big and clean although the air-con was fairly weak. Staff were friendly and facilities like free shuttle were great. Breakfast not being included and being charged for 'free water' upon checkout was a little annoying but no big deal. Would suggest staying in the 'Beach Zone' unless you want peace and quiet where the 'Paradise Zone' would be perfect.
Wonderful service with excellent faciity”
clean big room close to the lobby but very quiet. staff were very nice. view at the swimming pool was fantastic. very good taste of food at the restaurant, the bbq at dinner time was great. they have truck service to go to maehad bay for 2 times a day for free. if at another time they will charge for only baht. they service a truck to go up from beach hotel to the paradise zone back and forth. they have beach bar that service scuba diving, kayaking, snorkeling, ect. that was a romantic and fun time for us. we'd love to go back soon!
This hotel is just OK for me. the room that I stayed was not really good as I expected from the pictures. The phone is not provided in the room (Superior) when I tried to call them to get the lights fixed so I had to walk. Moreover, the room is not that clean, the toilet is just ok, well when I took the shower in the morning, I couldn't close the shower (It was broken). However, the staff are great and polite.
Excellent location and services with shuttle transport from paradise to the beach. Staff fantastic - friendly and professional. Had a family room which was excellent. Just wish it had a balcony not only to sit and enjoy but also to dry things too. But an excellent four person accommodation
Thank you very much for spend times with us. We work hard to make our guests happy and appreciate your feedback! Have a nice day! Sincerely, Ko Tao Resort.
Sky, the front desk staff, was very helpful.”
Sky was excellent. Rest of staff also. Very helpful making our stay on Ko Tao very enjoyable . Spoke good English .
A very Nice and clean resort! Location is close to the beach and the only challange is the clim up the mounted, advise is to rent a scooter.”
We have stayed for 9 nights in this resort and this was our first visit to this resort. We have visit Koh tao for many times and we are a huge fan of this island. The resort has a beautiful view on shark island and you can also see the other islands. The people in the resort are really friendly and willing to help you during your stay. Swimming pool is with fresh water and not with sea water what we had in other resorts on the island.
Stunning view, nice staff and room”
The resort was beautiful. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Although the resort locates pretty far from the pier, they provide free shuttle bus once a day. Apart from that they'll charge THB 50 /person/trip which we consider reasonable. Check out time is 11am sharp. Though you can leave luggage at the concierge and take a shower at the pool bathroom. Lastly, don't miss a breakfast with the stunning view at the balcony!!
Koh Tao paradise zone ”
Koh Tao resort was reallylovely. I booked the paradise zone not realizing it was basically at the top of the mountain and I was expecting beach front. The taxi to take you down the driveway was extremely helpful although I was caught out trying to get back up after 10pm! The pool was gorgeous and the staff were very helpful! Would definitely recommend!
overall very good, value for money!!”
i was shocked by the amazing view in paradise zone, it's just around the bay and on top of a small hill with cliff view and sea view, sunset and sunrise is beautiful. the infinite swimming pool is excellent, although it's not very big, but you can face the sea while swimming. staff are kind. near the restaurant along the road there are many small restaurants provide good enough dinner. car service at any time from 8am-10pm everyday carrying up to the paradise zone or down to the beach.Very easy to find diving shops along the main road near hotel beach area. only weakness is breakfast, simple but quality is good.will for sure be back in 1-2 years.
Paradise Zone is superb”
We stayed in the Paradise Zone section of the resort. The staff were excellent throughout our stay- free pick up from port, friendly, allowed us late check out for free because we were "good guests". Very clean, spacious room. Infinity pool allows brilliant views. Shuttle runs to town whenever you need. Breakfast good. Would definitely recommend.
