Fantastic 2-night stay!”
Such a beautiful beautiful place. The rooms are spacious and luxurious and the bed was very comfortable. There are large common areas in which to read, play games, or take tea. Recommend staying on the highest floor for best view of the park. The location is pretty hard to beat. We were a block away from the Chinese Fishing Nets, and walking distance from many nice restaurants and shops. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable . The food in the restaurant was also very good (try the Koder House Fish Soup!) and reasonably priced . The spa keeper Jonathan gave a great massage and Ayurvedic treatment . He is well-travelled and knowledgeable in several schools of massage. DRAWBACK: The pool is outside, so not always as clean as we hoped.

beautiful rooms and great location”
couple travelling through kerala - only stayed at koder house for one night as a treat, and we were really impressed. huge rooms, lovely bed, very clean and elegant / luxurious. wifi was poor which was annoying for an expensive place, but the room itself and staff were excellent.

Historic hotel in a great location”
We had a nice stay at Koder House which oozed history and local heritage. The hotel is in a great location and our room was spacious, clean and interesting in a quirky sort of way. The only area of improvement is with respect to the restaurant food. In such a historic hotel the food should be excellent. It wasn't. Moreover, guests should have the option of being served wine by the glass, without the obligation of purchasing an entire bottle. Keralites and foreign guests deserve no less.

Koder House”
A beautiful hotel with friendly and attentive staff. We had a massive room, which was clean and tastefully restored. Great location to explore Fort Cochin and Ernakulum (via Ferry). Excellent breakfast, particularly the Dosa massala!

Great Place to Stay”
Okay this place is great to stay if you like a huge bed, lovely old fashioned room and a sense of the history of Kochi. Slightly faded but stylish :)

Giant sunny rooms and amazing service”
i needed additional service finding a lawyer and with other advice. the staff went well beyond the call of duty to help me and my trip was a great success as a result. my room had a balcony with a view over the park, and through the trees, i could see the port. i believe it is the best room in fort cochin.

Timeless beautiful historic building,nice staff”
Got upgrade to superior suite on top floor on arrival..absolutely fantastic. Mini apartment really. Pool photos in ad are a little deceiving as its right next to restaurant ..a little too close, and its very small..also spa not open in monsoon season. Pity.

Location and history great, Mediocre food”
It was a return to a place we had stayed the year we got married. So for the sentimental value we returned. We found the staff to be helpful and courteous. The room was spacious and beautiful. The engineer helped us with the air conditioner until it was fixed. The hostess/host were attentive . Unfortunately the food was a disappointment. Breakfast hot food was cold and the taste left much to be desired. Not the quality i would expect for the price ( meals were considerably pricier that out in town). We would return for a night or two but we will eat out.

A trip back in time”
This is a great hotel for the experience - slept quite soundly on those beautiful 4-poster beds - and lots and lots of room. Big plus is the large un-airconditioned hallway leading to the bathroom for photographers. Camera can be stored in there and wont frost over with condensation when you step outside. Otherwise - food was disappointing and the 'Business Centre' could do with a much, much faster Internet connection. Then again - All of Kerala could've done with that.

It's OK hotel”
We stayed in junior suite which is very big. All staff were very helpful and kind. The hotel is very old so do not expect new facilities. Easy access to famous sightseeing place.

Great location ”
Beautifully calm place amidst chaos of town. Lovely spacious elegant room. However I do not recommend the Ayervedic spa. The manicurist completely butchered my hands leaving them cut and sore. I think she needs a training and an eye test.

Very good”
Loved the ambiance, but swimming pool needed to be skimmed and water needed to be better circulated.

Faded and relying on past glory”
We find the hotel mainly hanging on to its past glory. No "personal valet" as advertised and lack of personal touch.
