Best view and friendly staff ”

I love Koh Chang Resort!! They have the best view at the big balcony and inside the room. From the balcony you can see the gorgeous view of the sky and the sea. It's the best beach front I have ever been to. The staff are very nice and friendly. They let me checked in as soon as I got to the resort and let me stayed til 4pm so I could spend more time there and catch the speed boat later in the evening. Highly recommended and I will surely be back. Thank you for the wonderful time!!!!

Idyllic island”

We needed some peace and quiet after two weeks in Hong Kong and Taipei and this resort was perfect. It took a lot of effort to get here - totally worth it! Kae, the manager was lovely, the bungalows were very simple but very decent quality and the view from them is spectacular. Three days of tranquility, friendliness, no cars and the sound of the sea. (This is not for you if you want luxury. Electricity is limited to between 6 and midnight - which was fine.) For us it was just magical.

beautiful view ”

Would definitely recommend paying more for the front bungalow, the view is magnificent. Can see the whole of the bay was perfect. If you are looking for a quiet island not much going on and plenty of relaxation this i the place for you. Beaches are beautiful, even though they are black sand, the People that run this resort are very helpfully, and super tasty food to top it all off. Amazing ocean view”

We stayed in the newer bungalows directly over the water. These rooms are great! I wouldn’t want to stay in some of the older bungalows though. It was magic listening to the ocean waves at night. I also had no problem swimming directly in front of the resort even though there were rocks.

Best accommodation on the island ”

This is our second time staying here and we will be back again next year. The sea view bungalows over the water are by far the nicest places to stay on the island. It’s absolutely worth the extra money to stay here. You can also pay for anything you buy at the resort -like food and drink- via bank transfer. Thank you and see you soon!

very nice, end of the road”

Great little bungalow on stilts over the water..you can hear it splashing underneath. Out of the bustle of the main beach...a 20 minute walk away. Power in the room only on in the evening which is typical for here. Nice staff. Super chill.

Would not recommend”

The images of this resort showed pristine and beautiful accommodation, the reality couldn't have been more different. In fairness the beachfront location of this resort was really wonderful, but that's where it stopped. We requested a quiet room only to be given one in a position next to the building site of the new temple, which was extremely noisy. We asked to be moved and were given an option by where we had to pay a fair bit extra, which we did. The bungalow was dilapidated, and clearly hadn't been renovated for quite a few years. All of the draped and mosquito net were ripped, the bed was small, lumpy, hard and very uncomfortable. The shower and toilet were adequate, meaning that they were working and no more than that. The wifi didn't work in the room either! We only stayed for two nights, and to be honest, it was two too many.

Far away from Pier, but nice location. ”

Long way on bad road to get here. Rooms are good located close to the sea but it's hard to reach the beach and it's small and with black sand and quite stony.

Definitely not recommend. Very bad atmosphere. No matter what room you choose and pay, you will be allocated what is currently available. Find something nearby, it will always be better.

Check well about food prices and transfer and boats. The resort faculties are very run down.

Acceptable”

Pros: sea-view bungalow had a beautiful viewings from the terrance, easy to walk to a minimart along the beach. Cons: the bungalow was totally overpriced, it was not clean (full of geckos droppings, hair, dirt..) neither were the surroundings. Staff was not attentative nor friendly, they did ok food thou. You could easily find cheaper and cleaner places with friendlier staff on the island.

Koh Chang Resort”

The beach is too rocky to swim. The water in the shower and sink faucets came out at a trickle. The worst part was the freezer in the dining area. Each time it was opened a terrible stench filled the air.

Very bad qualité for my Bungalow ”

It was an old Bungalow. A mouse come few times through the big holes. The sink was congested. You can find a much better place around.

Wonderful view”

We had a beach front bungalow over water on stilts, view was wonderful. Listening to the sea great. Very peaceful and private. Food in restaurant was excellent. Honesty bar for cold drinks great. Owner helpful but not friendly. We changed rooms to have sun loungers. Bungalows are very basic. Glad of mosquito net over bed. Rooms especially bathrooms could be cleaner. Understand they are all gradually being upgraded. We were pleased to have electricity most of the time. WiFi only in restaurant area.

Horrible, à fuir”

Je suis arrivée, ils m'ont mis dans un bungalow, dont les draps n'étaient pas tres propres .. elle allume le ventilateur et s'en va. 10 minutes après le bungalow etaient rempli de fourmis! Je vais la voir et demande à changer. Elle me met dans un autre. Pas nettoyé des clients précédant (il y a deux jours qu'ils sont partis me dit elle). Je fais le lit avec elle .. elle me dit qu'elle va nettoyer. La salle de bain salle avec les savons et cheveux des precedents. Elle met de l'eau sur le lavabo et me dit : je vais vous donner le matériel et vous nettoirez la chapbre ce soir ! J'étais choquée ... Et au final j'ai dormi la dedans deux nuits, mal et en stresse. La porte ne se fermait meme pas. Pourtant tous les bungalows étaient vides ... Tous les restau, shop et resorts étant fermés sur l'île...j'ai dû mangé ici... J'ai été malade toute la nuit.

Above average”

Pas d'accés direct à la plage.Faites vous déposer à Sunset bungalows et de là, vous avez le choix de 5 ou 6 "resorts" qui sont cote à cote.Cet endroit de la plage - qui est assez longue- est assez central et vous permettra d'acceder aux différents sentiers de l'ile.

Cabane, simple, très belle île. ”

Une fois sur place on n'a plus d'autres choix que de manger matin, midi et soir dans son resort ou ceux d'à côté(où les prix sont identiques à savoir trois fois plus élevés que sur la terre ferme). C'est bon à savoir avant de partir.

3 nuits à koh Chang Ranong”

big bungalows avec vue directe sur la mer + la vue, le calme ,le staff, le restaurant - l'équipement du bungalows électricité de 6pm à minuit seulement salle de bain vraiment basique pour le prix , il y a bcp mieux seule une partie de l'ile est occupée , resorts les uns à coté des autres,mais très calme , parfait pour se reposer, pas de motorbike , ni de voitures , j'en ai vu que deux , vacances atypiques , 2 petits commerces, pas d'ATM , à faire sans grandes valises ...
