Fabulous place ”
We where lucky enough to stay on the beach house right on the beach the house was so lovely with big glass doors for a view to die for set in lovely gardens and a short walk along the beach to the restaurant also on the beach one of the most tranquil relaxing places ever
Was very lucky and had a virtually rainless stay in May. Rooms are nice and the location in ocean view rooms on north side are amazing. I was recommended to stay here and I would also recommend it. Even in a power outage, they had their own generators so we had no issues for that. The only downside was the food. It wasn't bad but it wasn't very good. Fortunately, there are a few restaurants with more variety within walking distance. Don't expect wifi signal in room but common areas was strong. Sand fleas were pretty bad especially because of the rainy season, but that's common in many islands in thailand.
The place to stay in Koh Mook”
After visiting Koh Mook for the first time, I believe there is no better place to stay than Koh Mook Sivalai Beach resort. Located directly on the best beach of Koh Mook, next to the village, the bungalow are 5 stars comfort. Even 2nd row bungalow offer you a nice view. Absolutely comfortable bungalow, ideal place to chill out. Beds are very comfortable, Air condition, good shower. The restaurant is ok. Good breakfast buffet. The only negative point we had was wifi was not working during our stay. It might have been only during our stay but was not an issue as the hotel is cover with Mobile data. Would stay again there in low season when the prices are reasonable.
Besides the fact the location is beautiful and we booked a beachfront villa so we were just on the beach, my girlfriend got bed bugs bites (usually it's because of lack of cleanliness of the bedsheets) and we tried to contact back the staff, but we didn't get any reply from the hotel after our check out...disappointing, we won't come back!
Nice Place ”
Everything are very good to stay here.
Water in the shower room is a bit too slow for a good shower. Website should indicate that during low season (May to Sept), there are basically no sea activities. Emerald cave is also closed during this time. We ended up having nothing much to do.
Nice place to go for a quiet getaway.”
Service of food excetra a bit slow. Room service can be a bit expensive. I got a bucket of ice to room service. Total cost with taxes and fees was around $6 aud for a bit of ice. How ever staff were very friendly service was good. The location is excellent. Stray dogs were a bit of an issue hanging around pool and inside resturaunt. Staff didnt seem to mind but they looked not too healthy. Emerald cave trip was great. Short walk to the local village was well worth it too. Food was exceptional. The lay out of resort was nice. Over all top place for a quiet break
Quiet well maintained resort on fabulous white sand spit but also only a short walk from the village and pier The most expensive place we stayed in 5 weeks travelling but worth it A lot of mentions about which side is "sunny" but in reality not important Food and drinks a little more than we were used to but not silly and thai dishes in restaurant were excellent Saving up to come back!
Nice relaxing ”
Close to shops just walk shortcut from school. Big place. Lots of mosquitoes at the time we were there. Breakfast was average.
The best location”
Very nice indeed, strongly reccommend
Maldives in Thailand”
Beautiful ocean & beach, nice rooms, good for family trip.
Best resort in Koh Mook”
Resort located in very nice location along the beach and all staffs are very good manner. Room size is very spacious, but bed and pillow are quiet hard. We really enjoyed while stay at resort.

Nice stay in Koh Mook.”
I love the sea of Trang province. This is my first time to Koh Mook and it is the best memory I have for short staying on this island. Koh Mook Sivalai is recommended. Clean and white sand beach. Good taste of fresh seafood and relaxing atmosphere.
๋Just 15 min from the pier, you will be on the paradise. ”
Not far from the mainland, friendly staffs. From here you can go to many attractive points. You can rent a motorbike to explore the island. People on that island are very friendly but vibe in the village might not hygienic. However it's worth to explore the village.
Peace and tranquility with stunning beachfront villas”
Travelled to relax and get away from busy bangkok for a few days. The islands are quite sunny, even in rainy season, but with almost no tourists, which was amazing, I was literally the only guest there. The beachfront villas truly have amazing views over wither Mainland or over koh kradang, the customer service is good, staff is friendly, only a bit of a log way to get there from the airport (around 2 hours). The restaurant food could be substantially better though...
Starfish and crabs”
We had the ocean front room and the location was fantastic. The peninsula is a truly stunning. The beach at different times of the day was home to starfish, jumping fish, hermit crabs. The staff at the hotel was very friendly. The food including the breakfast was between average and disappointing. Try the Hilltop restaurant. 50 baht/ head by taxi
This place is absolutely unique in its location. It is on a sand bank so has beaches on both sides. The restaurant is great, although we were there during low season and there is a limited menu - if you ask they will prepare really authentic Thai food for you (Laab moo, yam wunsen, yam tale etc). Over the past decade I have become more and more disappointed with the way Thai food gets ' Westernified' in places like this, with almost no spice, here I was pleasantly surprised- actually most other guests were Thai. The Spa is really good too, peaceful and it's good quality massages. The staff really make this place feel like home, every single person (and there are a lot) has a smile and a greeting for you at all times. On the negative side, although the beaches that 'belong' to this resort are cleaned daily, the immediate extensions of these beaches are seriously dirty, full of plastic bottles, old shoes, bits of old tables and chairs....... - it is so upsetting to see this and unfathomable how a tiny island that seems to rely 100% on tourism cannot recognise that this will really stop people coming, or at least coming back.
Best resort with magnificent view on Koh Mook”
We were very impressed with the location and view from the resort. White sandy beach and clear sea water, the resort also provides plenty of activities but with some charges. You can rent a bicycle and do a small tour around the island or to Charlie beach to relax. If you're not into sports acitivities, sun bathing at the front of the beach with the view of clear water and blue sky is enough to kill your day. The resort is good for those who want to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful holiday. However, during summer flies in the restaurant is somewhat annoying. Also there are ants in room but the housekeeper do come in to spray insecticide in the evening and turn down the bed and mosquito net for you. The DVD libary needs to be update with more latest movies. The service was average. During low season the resort offers a very good price. Definitely going back in the future.
Beautiful beach but isolated from all”
We arrived by boat from Koh Lipe via Bundahya speed boats where we dropped off at Charlie beach. The speed boat just backs up to the beach and off you jump into knee deep water. No jetty what so ever here. Just long tail boats and small side car scooter taxis. Long tail boats will bring you to the resort for 100 bht per person. A taxi is more interesting at 50 bht per person. Just walk up through the charlie resort and at the end of the building there are many taxis. As for the resort, its just beautiful, secluded, and obviously pricy. A little too pricy in my honest opinion. At the price you pay, there should be some tranquility. Well no ladies and gentlemen, fishing boats will wake you up at 4am. Bring lots of mosquito repellent. Will gets your moneys worth here. Oh and lastly, 2 days max because you will get bored. All in all, yes I would go back, but only short time.
