"New, clean and tide. Rooms a touch on the small side but fine. Charlie beach is 2.4 km away so you need a scooter or 100 baht each way. Koh Muk does need to clean itself up generally though. They are apparently redeveloping the area behind Charlie beach but have left all the rubble. It spoils the island. Smile is excellent value for money overall though."

"Directly on the beach.A few meters outside the city center and port.Best choice I could not do.Along with a few other apartments, it divides the beach with the most expensive Koh Mook Sivslai Beach Resort, about 700 meters from De Tara. The entrance to the resort and reception is from a small road that is difficult to see unless accompanied. The structure is divided into two small areas: the upper one with the reception with some apartments overlooking the sea and the other with rooms/tents located slightly more internal,of various sizes, also seen with the sea, complete with everything. The reception area is also a restaurant /bar on the beach. My room/Tent 29 sqm. with veranda. The floor is covered with palm leaves, Air conditioning, Double bed, floor lamps, electrical sockets everywhere at various heights, wardrobe, double bathrobe, slippers,TV, indoor and outdoor drying rack, sliding wooden door to enter the bathroom all covered in resin and with brand new sanitary ware.
