"We stayed in total four nights in Sivalai beach villa. I must say that Sivalai is definitely the best hotel and place to stay in Koh Mook. Located on definitely the best beach on the island. It is calm, with the perfect beach, clean villas (they clean everyday, change the linen, towels, clean the toilet, etc...) and they even clean the beach everyday! Massage in Koh Mook is quite expensive and so it is also in Sivalai, but it is also good and the best part, you can have it in your own room without extracharge. I definitely recommend to choose the beach front villa, rather than the villa with the gardenview or seaview or what it is called, not sure. The beach villa is definitelu worth the money! Enjoy! Ps. During the low season(we traveled in the end of october) the weather was hot and the pricetag reasonable."

"From the minute they picked us up at the pier at Koh Mook, the Mook Lamai staff were exceptional. Tid literally took care of everything for my wife and I, and even had flowers and rose petals on our bed for our honeymoon. Nina was able to provide a complete rundown of the island for us and had a number of good recommendations for activities for us to do. Tid helped us arrange for a private longtail boat to do the Emerald cave EARLY and this was one of the best experiences we've had our entire time in Thailand. Not only did we get the sunrise on the boat, the boatman had full gear and was our guide swimming into the cave. We got to enjoy the cave alone for over 25 minute before more tourists arrived, and then the boat man took us to a local snorkeling hole completely unexpectedly. This is the type of arrangements that only Mook Lamai could provide. When we come back to Thailand, without question we will return to our family at Mook Lamai! "

"We had a wonderful stay at Mookies Bungalows and highly recommend their place for comfort, value and proximity to Charlie Beach (west side of island). Sivalai (on the east side of island) is beautiful but dominated by the resort. Charlie is large, offers kayaking and has several beach restaurants. Plus, it’s the right side for sunset and only 10 minutes from Mookies. Note that as of early 2018, Charlie Beach Resort is closed until further notice, so don’t anticipate using their facilities as in the past. The Mookies team was friendly and helped us book taxis, deliveries of large water (less plastic) and our ferry transfer to Koh Jum. Rooms were large, and although we did not have AC, they were comfortable at night with the fan. Best of all, we got to know Wan and her family a bit (owners and staff) and ended up volunteering with her for a Trash Hero beach cleanup event on the island. We would return to Koh Mook and stay at Mookies Bungalows again!"

"We had a wonderful time at Koh Mook De Tara. Hotel's owner and staffs were very friendly and helpful. Good communication from booking until arrival. The food was very delicious. We had fresh seafood ordered for us from the fishermen at reasonable price. Even though breakfast took a bit long time to wait due too amount of guests, dinner was served quickly. The beach bar was very relaxing overlooking the ocean. Unfortunately, there were pollution from Indonesia so the view was not clear. The tent we stayed was quite spacious and equipped with many essentials amenities and facilities such as air condition, fridge, hair dryer, cable TV and ensuite bathroom. "

"The house owner family are really kind. Living here for 3days was a very memorable experience. The room is artistic and creative with every detail of the design, and sure it’s clean and comfortable too. Besides ,the house owner invited me to join their family BBQ party, it’s really nice to meet other friends and talk to them. On my leaving day, I missed the boat I booked,so the kind house owner helped me to find another best way to back . I appreciate that. If you want peaceful but full of surprises travel, come and live here. I will come back again one day ~"

"Riviera is one of the best beach resorts I have ever stayed at. At first I was thinking of staying just few nights, but place was so superb that I stayed there 12 nights in skyroom, which was spacious, simple and stylish. There was beautiful garden view and it was only one minute walk from the peaceful beach. Professional management, really helpful and friendly staff (excellent service), good food, great location just by the beach and few minutes walk to village. In this price category you cannot find better in Koh Mook. Really recommendable!"

"at the tail end of the high season i found myself the only westerner in this hotel amongst very many thai tourist over the thai new year. i never felt out of place though and really enjoyed my stay here.... the resort is on the village side of the island and a trip out to hat farang (on the western side of the island confirmed for me anyway, that i was in the right place for me. .... i was looking for some peace and quiet after 3 months in india!. the food is great. my only suggestion for the hotel is that they could do with some hammocks and perhaps soft cushions for the sun loungers and hard furniture. a very friendly place, great value and a place i would stay again if i find myself in koh mook. Staff are friendly and a nice breakfast in the morning. Hotel is 20 meters from a lovely beach and 30 meters from the main street. Staff were very friendly as well. "We were 3 girls traveling to Koh Mook and we couldn’t have found a better place to stay! We had the beachfront villa which was a delightful house on stilts right in the beach front ( true to the name). We fought over who would get the extra get since it was just so cozy! The staff are very nice and friendly... the massage centre is at a beautiful location and the masseuse was also extremely good and really paid attention to pressure points. The resort is absolutely stunning... they organise a snorkelling trip and a trip to the emerald cave where the boat picks you up from the beach right outside your room... overall... a beautiful holiday! Thank you Pawapi!"
