Great location, great view and fantastic staff”
Koh Tao Heights Apartments is located a bit uphill (about 10 min on foot) from Sairee Beach which is great if you are not on Koh Tao for a party holiday. The view from the apartment balcony is fantastic and it is totally worth the climb of the really steep hill leading up to the apartments. The apartment itself is nice and spacey with a nice big bed, a fine bathroom, a sofa group and a small kitchen (which we didn't use much). When you arrive to the apartments (by the complimentary taxi-service), you are welcomed by the very nice and helpful staff and provided with a local cellphone which you can use to contact the staff, order take-out to the apartment or plan activities etc.. The hostess Lynne is so helpful and friendly (though a bit hyper) and is more than happy to help you book activities such as snorkeling trips etc. or just give you tips and tricks about the island. The hotel also rents out scooters at very favorable prices and don't seem to wanna rip you off if you make a small scratch (as you hear some of the other rental places can be inclined to). This is a great way to experience more of the island on your own hand. If I go back to Koh Tao, I would be very tempted to use Koh Tao Heights Apartments again.

Amazing oasis”
Koh Tao Heights is the perfect place to stay if you want a room that is slightly removed from sairee beach. It is only a short 7min walk to the beach (but a longer walk the other way because of its uphill location). It offers an amazing view looking across the water and down onto Sairee Beach. We used the kitchen to cook breakfast each morning and enjoyed the piece and quiet afforded to us! It is still close enough, though, that you can venture down during the day for some beach fun. The staff is also extremely helpful - they even give you a cell phone upon arrival to make sure you have access to all that you need.

Amazing view! 10min walk to the beach and 20 back ”
The apartments look exactly as it is on the pictures! We loved everything about this place! It was an excellent body work out to go to the beach every day, as far as I love mountain walking, and still you always can rent a bike and car, if you don't like to walk. Personally, I think the distance is very short to do every day. The view is super duper beautiful, all people are super kind. The beach area is full with cheap and tasty food, you can spend all day on the beach, go diving or snorkling. We were very surprised by the warm atmosphere on the island. If I'm coming back, then definately staying in Koh Tao Heights. Thank you guys!

Great Apartments with unique view”
We had a wonderful stay at Koh Tao Heights Apartments. These flats are spacious, well-maintained and well-equipped, located away from the touristy hustle bustle of Sairee beach. It is advised to have some form of transport (like a motorbike) to get around. The independence of having a 'home away from home' in lush tropical and quiet surroundings was wonderful. The team is very friendly, helpful and helps organize all sorts of tickets, boat charters, events etc.

Found out about these apartments on Agoda and the reviews were spot on (although 1 person complained....cant understand why!!) The room was excellent, nice design big clean and comfortable. The one main point about this apartment was location, but if your planning on renting a motorbike whilst in Koh Tao then you should have no problems because the hill up to the apartment is pretty steep and if your walking its a real leg burner. When we checked in we were given a mobile phone by Caz (excellent friendly host) and was told any problems give her a call (was given given a large list of take out restaurants whowould deliver also)........the main point about the room was the view - WOW!! One of the best things about our stay was waking up in the morning, making a coffee and opening the big living room doors for the view and just sitting there....bliss!

We stayed in the studio apartment. Clean room and spacious. they provides a kitchen as well. The location is on the hillside facing the Sairee Beach. May take a 10 minute walk to sairee beach or you can rent the bike to go around Koh Tao.

Excellent”
We got upgraded to a two-bedroom apartment which was very spacious and comfortable. It's definitely a a hike to get up the hill, but is worth it for the view from the balcony over Sairee Beach and the ocean - just incredible. The office rents motorbikes for a very reasonable fee, which makes the trip to and from town much easier! They also provide a mobile phone for use during your stay, which is a really nice touch. The only negatives were that the wifi was a bit slow and the office forgot to schedule our taxi to the pier (luckily that was easily and quickly fixed and we made it with plenty of time). It would also be nice if drinking water was provided in a large container (they provide two small bottles for free or 1L bottles for purchase, but would be great to cut down on plastic with a refill station!).

Nice apartments. They are a little off the beaten track, although with a motorbike everything is within easy reach. Koh Tao motorbike rental places are notorious for ripping off customers. I paid around $200 for minor damage that occurred to my motorbike while I was away diving the last time I was in Koh Tao (the rental place at the petrol station in Sairee). I would totally recommend renting a bike through the Koh Tao Heights apartments, the price is reasonable and no hassles. Nice new bike. While there is no restaurant, they provide a mobile phone and a bunch of menus to call for delivery. There is a kitchenette in the apartments, but no microwave.

Could not have been better”
We had a perfect 6 night stay in the Appartment. The room was so big and beautiful. The bed was really comfortable, the kitchen had everything you need to prepare your own breakfast (of course you need to buy food by yourself), the bathroom was big and bright and the shower was separated from the toilet, so the toilet didn't get wet. From the balcony, we had a stunning view over the bay to Nang Yuan Island. In our opinion, the sunset is even better and more beautiful from the balcony than from the beach. The rooms got cleaned and towels were changed every day and we got water (2 bottles), tea and coffee for free. The organisation of the pickup from the pier, the transportation to the pier on our departure and the tours we made worked out fine without any problems. We also got free snorkeling equipment for the day we wanted. Additionally, I ordered a birthday cake for my girlfriend and they organised everything and brought it to our Apartment at the time I wanted.

Enjoyed the Heights view over the coast and the sea every morning. The balcony is perfect to start the day with a good breakfast, prepared by your own in the little kitchen of the bungalow. 2 km far from loud beach parties at night. The hotel rents mopeds reliable and trustfull.

Spacious and clean apartment”
We stayed in the studio apartment. Clean room and spacious. It provides a kitchen though we never use it. The location is on the hillside facing the Sairee Beach. May take a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach. We rented a motorbike and travelled around the island was not a problem.

Nice Place! ... Watchout for hidden $$ extras”
We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean. Staff were friendly enough. Was told that the hotel would pick us up from the Pier .. Didn't realise that this was 200baht extra .. Not a big deal or a great cost nothing is free or complimentary in Thailand. Aircon wasn't Cold the first night but seems to correct itself for the 2nd night. We hired a scooter direct from the hotel. As usual in Thailand it had absolutely zero fuel but that is the norm over here. After only riding a few kilometres our scooter rear tyre went flat. The roads on Koh Tao are average however we had only riden on sealed good road. I called and spoke to the owner of the hotel and he told me to go to a mechanic and fix it myself. We were less then 5minutes away from the hotel but apparently that was too far away. Absolutely no assistance was given. I was told to find a mechanic and pay for the new tyre myself. It was quite early in the morning and nothing but a few cafes were open. We waited 2 hours for the mechanic to open to repair the tyre. No hot water in the shower (not that you need it). Overall not too bad. Good for Koh Tao.

Great apartment with beautiful view”
Apartment was perfect. Clean, great view, good WiFi. Small kitchen to make breakfast/noodles. Staff provided very good information on things to do on the island and which restaurants you could call (with a phone they provide) to get food up to the apartment. It is a steep climb/ride up to the location. Would defintely recommend.

I stayed for 2.5 months in Apt #6 the view is awesome from the large comfy balcony it was great to enjoy drinks at night on the balcony watching the sun set the staff (Tac and Lynn) are very friendly and helpful they have scooters to rent so you don't have to deal with a potential rental scams in town overall this is a great place, I totally enjoyed my entire stay, no complaints except hot water for a shower was scarce however given how hot it was during the day a cold shower wasn't really a big deal.

The apartment was great! The bed was very comfortable. We felt like home! To know in advance; there is a pretty stiff hill to climb to get to the resort. If you are new at driving bikes I wouldn't suggest it otherwise you can walk it up which is quite an intensive workout (we did it twice and that was enough) or the resort has an assigned taxi driver who can come pick you up where ever you are on the island! The staff is great!

Great room, nice view and location but the cleaning standards and service need to improve! 3 main points of attention: 1) Driver overcharged us several times even with one official price table in the hotel information book. When we argued he said he would not pick us up anymore. We called the reception to report and ask assistance about this issue and they said it's not the hotel's responsibility, which surprised us negatively as this information is given in the hotel information book inside the room. We finally decided to rent motorbikes to avoid this situation. 2) The housekeeping is poor, the dishes they washed were still extremely dirty. The shower floor was accumulating shampoo foam residues hair until blocking the drainage and I needed to clean by myself. 3) The toilet is full of spider nets and spiders. If from one day to another the insects arrive I think it is acceptable. But the same spider living in the same location (at the heights of the eyes) every day is a total lack

This review is a false review.1)200 baht is the price for a ride around Sairee for a maximum of 4 people compare to the official price of 400 baht ,this group was 8 in total but didn't want to pay more than 200 baht.The taxi guy just ask them for an extra of 100 baht.They called reception yelling the taxi driver try to ripped them off our receptionist try to explain that there is a maximum of 4 people for this price but they didn't want to listen and they very rudely state that they will write us a very bad review.2)Guest not even once mention any issue about cleaning and our properties are spotless. If you had spider and very dirty toilet would you stay in a property for 8 nights ???our house keeping team are processional and highly train and we can prove it with our cleanliness score ; 9.0 for our apartment , 9.6 for our boutique villa and 9.7 for Pool villa same staff taking care of all those properties. Unfortunately Agoda don't check reliability of this review.

This exactly what I was looking for, perfect location not so far away from beach and nightlife but far enough for it to be nice and quiet. The rooms well done and spacious, though very small kitchen area . Would be benefit if offered a basic shopping service as can be bit difficult running everything by motorbike. Though they do provide a telephone so you can get takeout

It was our best stay in the month long thailand trip. Sara and Tac were amazing, had a ride & scooter organized and always available to assist us in any way. I didn't want to leave the apartment ! This stay made our trip and I would highly recommend to anyone !

Nice quiet apartment. Needs microwave...”
Nice apartment with good view of the bay. No restaurant, but delivery menus are provided, as is a mobile phone. Good food easily available. Plenty of restaurants in town anyway. Rent a scooter from the owners, and Sairee or Mae Haad are close enough. Nice new bikes, reasonable price, and you won't get ripped off like you will with some of the other hire places. Could use a microwave in the room.
