We (girlfriend and I) spent 2 days in Bangkok and 3 days in Phuket before our 4 days here on Koh Yao Noi....and boy did we need it! The tourist spots are fun, but if you want to get away, go to Koh Yao Noi, and if you really want to get away - go to Koh Yao Resort. No one bothers you, it's just the beach in front of you from either your bed or couch. If you want to take an excursion, you can do so at any time on your own, and if you want to go into 'town' (you will see maybe 20 people at most in any one spot), you can do that too at any time on rentable motorbikes or bicycles. The front desk personnel were AWESOME and totally run the place, catering to all guests needs in an efficient and friendly style. The grounds and rooms look new and all the little touches are great.

We had a wonderful visit to Koh Yao Noi staying at Laguna Villas in the Baya villa. The villa had its own pool and is so beautifully appointed we took pictures - huge living area, the outdoor Pavillon, comfortable bedroom and outdoor shower were fantastic. The people really made our stay though - Dimitri the Manager took us about the island the day we arrived so we could be comfortable travelling on the scooter and knowing our way. His tips were invaluable- Arok massage was like a full treatment course with the Jedi massage masters! Amazing couple Also other places to eat and go to swim and relax, Dimitri it was so nice to meet you and we can’t thank you enough!!! Food at the hotel was the best on the island - chef Joe consulted with us and I even did a small cooking lesson to learn a few tips on Thai dishes that I don’t already make, it was fantastic and made our visit even more special. For a small authentic and relaxing place you should visit Koh Yao Noi and Laguna Villas. :)

That was the best move for us to have chosen Cape Kudu Hotel for our short trip to Koh Yao Noi. There is nothing negative I can think of about this hotel. It provide you exactly or even more that what it is describe in the websites. The large well arranged and decorated room with a balcony and amazing view is perfect to rest and relax, watch the amazing sunrise from the bed our the balcony. Enjoying a relaxing bath or good shower after a very hot day. The swimming pool with the view of the bay is perfect, the restaurant, the breakfast buffet with anything you wish to eat, from Thai food, western, even fresh cheese. All the staff including manager are always smiling, looking at your needs with professionalism. The only regret I have is to stayed only 4 nights! Thanks to all staff from Cape Kudu Hotel for your warm hospitality and whenever we are coming back to Koh Yao Noi, we will be staying at Cape Kudu Hotel again.

We originally were booked to stay in Patong beach Phuket, but we arrived there and were overwhelmed by the hussle and bussle of the crowded beach and market strips that were packed with tourists. We decided to go to the small island of Koh Yao Noi, and it was the best decision we could have made. The resort has a stunning private beach as well as a beautiful pool - perfect for lazing around in the sun reading a book or sipping cocktails. The Buffet breakfast caters for all tastes. Staff are flawless in the way they run the resort. This is not a place for people who want to be loud and party. This is a resort for people who want to relax and enjoy peace and serenity in an untouched peace of island paradise. A geat romantic get away for couples - we intend to return there for our honeymoon.

My husband and I stayed at Treehouse Villas for 7 nights in March 2018. The resort is brand new and was still under construction. The staff looked after us incredible well, giving us a free bottle of champaign (for our honeymoon) a free dinner and free massage as compensation for the occasional noise from the construction site. They also made arrangements for us to stay next-door at Paradise Koh Yao Noi, if the construction works really bothered us... they didn't!!! The room exceeded expectations, it's such an amazing concept. We also loved the free minibar. The restaurant is beyond amazing, the food is 100% 5 star! The resort is located on a cove, it's extremely remote and can only be accessed by boat or a rough 40min car ride on a dirt road. If your staying here be prepared to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner here or at the neighbouring resort. Also note that the beach is tidal. We loved it here... and would highly recommend!

The villa is amazing, clean, well equipped and strong wifi signal. If you are looking for hidden away from the noisy Patong. This is the best place for enjoying your holiday. The property manager Mhee will sorted out everything that you need. Mhee, thank you very much for the warm hospitality! There are restaurants and bars just 2 mins away from the villa. You can also walk to the beach in 2 mins, but it is rocky beach, not good for swimming. We stayed 4 night at Diva Star Villa. Mhee is wonderful!! she took a good care of us during our stay. She helped us from renting scooter, private boat trip, having massage at the villa, arranged chef cooking for us for dinner in the villa. We don’t need to plan for trip, just simply text Mhee a message, she would kindly arranged for us. We loved the small island so much, we just relaxed and chilled out here everyday. This trip to Koh Yao Noi is one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever had before.

This was our second year in a row at Niramaya and we love Koh Yao Noi so much! Last year we rented a large villa which is the perfect for a small family, group of friends, or in our case— two couples. This year it was just the two of us and we got a “deluxe pool villa” with one double bed and more than enough space with the living room and couch it’s like a little apartment. The pools are lovely and the beach just north toward Thakow Pier is great for swimming when the tide is in. The beach just in front of the hotel is quite rocky but lovely to sit and take in the sunrise and distant islands all the same. Rent a motorbike from the front desk and explore the island! Walk to JJ Queen two places down just past Laguna Villas for an awesome massage. Try an awesome farm-to-table dinner off the beaten path at The Hideout (expat owned) or a sea-and-farm-to-table locals spot, Koh Yao Ta Ton Do Seafood!

My girlfriend and I could not have had a better experience. We had originally planned to stay in Koh Yao Noi for 2 nights, but extended it to 4 nights mainly due to the amazing accommodation and treatment we received. It felt like a home away from home. Our bungalow was set just outside the garden area with ample trees and hammocks. The property is set about 50m from the ocean, you can take a trail down where there is a hammock, swing, and bench overlooking the water. Our bungalow was clean, and very large. We did not pay for an air conditioned room but the fan was sufficient, we actually turned it off at night. There were no mosquitoes. The family who operates the location are amazing, as seen in other reviews. They are also amazing cooks, we are at their restaurant 8+ times - you have to try the Pat Thai! We would undoubtedly stay here again next time in Koh Yao Noi. Thank you so much Najjamee!

What a great little hotel on the heart of Koh Yao Noi! Firstly the staff were all extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful for our entire stay which made such a difference. There were free bikes and moped hire directly from the hotel so getting around was really easy and the location was great; right by the local market, 7 eleven and ATMs. As the name suggests the room decor was simple, all concrete floors and walls, but it looks really cool, and something I imagine people would pay good money for in London! There was a TV, large shower and huge, comfortable bed. Perfect for us. Breakfast was also simple but really interesting, as there was a new local speciality to try each day, great coffee and fresh juice. All in all considering the price as well, one of the best places we've ever stayed in!

Kao Yao Noi is a mostly undeveloped island. If you're looking for beautiful sea views and no people, this is a good location. The resort is peaceful, safe, quiet and clean. It's definitely a sleepy island with little going on. If I went back, I would probably stay here again. The staff is super friendly and polite. Their pools are nice and clean. If we went back to this Island we would probably stay here again.

The price was very good for what we got! The Location was in a very nice and quiet part of the island. We rented a scooter at the Koh Tao Pier and used it to get around the island. Though the more touristic places (bars and most restaurants) were further south at Passai Beach, we enjoyed staying in a more authentic part where a lot of locals lived. The Pier Restaurant is a great choice if you want to have lunch or dinner close to home. The Bungalow was perfectly cleaned every day and we felt very comfortable. We had a mosquito net over the bed and a bench outside to calm down after an exciting day. The set-up of the Bungalow included everything we needed and more! Of course visiters should be aware of the fact, that the Bungalow is very close to wild nature and hence you should be prepared to come across small insects from time to time. Last but not least our hostess was super friendly. She welcomed us heartwarming and helped us whenever we had questions. She is just the nicest person imaginable! We would love to come back as soon as we get the chance to come to Thailand again!

This was our favorite place we stayed during our 2 week trip to Thailand. You should know what you’re getting into when staying here. These are traditional bungalows with no AC in the jungle. With that caveat aside, our stay was excellent. We were plenty cool and comfortable at night. The food at their restaurant was amazing! Mr. Ling was a fantastic host, and while it was harder to communicate with the rest of the staff (it’s a family operation), they were very warm and hospitable. We enjoyed more than one long evening past sunset sitting at their deck, drinking hot Thai tea. Mr. Ling arranged a private island tour via a long tail with snorkeling and lunch included. It was well worth it!

Good basic budget accommodation run by nice and polite people. The room was clean, the transportation fee from the pier was 50 baht per person. 7 eleven shop, fruits shop and few restaurants are just 50 meters nearby. The fan room was not hot at nights (which is a good thing). The sound isolation of the structure is not best and you will hear the neighbors (ours were polite and I could sleep without any problem). For those who complain that the room was not clean after several days: just don’t eat in the room and everything will be just fine: after all, it’s a not a 5-star hotel :)

I had a lovely stay at Pasai Beach Lodge. The location is great; right on the beach and walking distance of a lot of good food and drink and views. I rented a scooter and had a great time driving around the island. What really makes this place stand out is the warmth and helpfulness of the owners. Right from the beginning they were so kind and helpful, and they helped me book my trip to Krabi airport, which involves a taxi to the pier, then a speedboat ferry, then another taxi to the airport. They negotiated the price with the taxi driver in Krabi so I didn't have to, and I ended up paying a fair amount (I was worried I'd get to Krabi and get stuck with a high cab fare to the airport). I'm really glad I stayed with them, and I definitely recommend it. A note: It's a bungalow type accommodation, so don't expect luxury. Expect homey, cute furnishings, a toilet that requires pouring water into it to flush it, etc. etc. It's super clean and (in my opinion) very beautiful and cozy.

koyao bay pavilions is an amazing getaway with beautiful accommodations in a private and lush setting. with just 3 luxurious beachfront villas and ample, friendly staff, the service was fantastic. whatever you ask for or need is addressed immediately. the daily massages with the sounds of the ocean in the background are pure heaven. even a rainy day at koyao bay pavilions was one of the best of our trip, simply reading in our hammocks as the rain fell just beyond us. for such a small resort, the restaurant has an enormous menu and will cater to whatever you like. though i have only good things to say about the resort, those considering it and koh yao noi in general should understand that the island is small and not highly developed. you will need to find ways to entertain yourself as there is not the range of activities available on larger islands. and the setting and design of the resort take advantage of the tropical surroundings, but this means you'll be up close with nature -- so if a frog hopping onto your dinner table will ruin your vacation, this may not be the place for you. overall, koyao bay pavilions was a 10 out of 10 for us.

We liked it so much even though it hasn't got a beach. The beaches on Koh Yao Noi has mostly a lot of rocks except from a few places. We just rented motorbikes and easily got around the whole island. And we enjoyed to get "home" to Leamsai because there was a very beautiful view. We rented the double house in 2 floors (for 4 persons, 1 bathroom) - it is MUCH better than the other 2 person bungalows uphill. So ask for this bungalow.

First we just loved Koh Yao Nai. Just what we were looking for after 5 days in busy, crazy Ao Nang. Don’t get me wrong as Ao Nang is probably wonderful for many people but too busy and hectic for my wife and my taste. Probably would have been nice 15 years ago. We really liked Koh Yao Beach Bungalow. It is just across the road from Masai Beach which is one of the better beaches on Koh Yao Noi. The Bungalows are very clean and well kept. We got an A/C Bungalow however the fan Bungalows looked extremely nice also. Water pressure on the shower was a bit low and our had one of those wet bathroom showers so common in Asia. The TV had one English station but then we are in Thailand. The staff were very helpful. We rented a M/C from them while there and I would recommend renting one to getting around Noi. We were on the beach often as we were so very close. Beach is at its best at or near high tide. Koh Yoa Beach Bungalows are a ways from the main town on Noi but small markets are close.

Okay - so it is in the middle of nowhere, but if you are looking to escape and have some "me & you time" Tukonnee Villas is the perfect destination. There is nothing within a 15/20 minute scooter ride but for starters Lilly is the perfect host and if you stock up at the 7/11 or better the local supermarket just across the road from 7/11, you will not get a better nights sleep as the bed is the best and the villa would cost you 4x / 5x more in some locations. Breakfast at Lilly's is a perfect start to the day and the beaches of Yao Noi are only a ride away. Yes you will need to hire a scooter but stay here before the world discovers Tukonnee Villas. Oh and for good food try Limestone Cafe also sort of opposite 7/11 and also Rice Paddy

Came here with my wife and my parents and I booked this location for our last stop so we could just relax and not have to worry about going "Out to dinner" or going "To the beach". This place is truly a slice of paradise. From the beginning Daniel did a great job contacting us and making sure the transfer from Phuket to Koh Yao Noi went smoothly, we opted for the their private speed boat option which was really nice because we were taken right to the villas and helped off the boat on to the beach just steps away from our room. The villas themselves are wonderful their are a perfect size. Two really comfortable and well designed bedrooms with great views,There is and Dinning area and nice size living room with a great big TV where we watched movies after dinner. We did nothing but relax and eat wonderful food and drink really well made cocktails and gaze at the beautiful view the whole time. The customer service and attention to detail here is above and beyond, It was a really great!

we wanted to stay 4 days longer. After 2 days, the owner kicked us out because he had another reservation through booking. We had to move to another location owned by the owners relative. After a huge argue we didnˋt have to pay more for the new house. Besides that bad experience, we can recommend this bungalow. We had the bigger one and it was enough space for our 2 children and us. The wifi didntˋt work during our stay of 5 days. Next to the bungalow you get the best coffee at Koh Yao Noi (Green Coffee).

This resort is the best a quite and clean place to stay friendly staff and a very pleasant swimming pool with active filtration system. The room was cold on arrival which was a nice touch and free glass of orange on our arrival. The resort is not close to town but a short motorbike ride away about 3km. I would highly recommend this resort the intimate place to relax and unwind

The bedding was clean and the bed reasonably comfortable however the overall cleanliness of the bungalow was disappointing. The wash basin waste dripped water onto the floor constantly and must have been known about, although this was repaired when I pointed it out. Waste toilet tissue was collected in a bin in the bathroom however the room was only cleaned every three days which is insufficient under these circumstances.. The fridge was very dirty on the outside.
