Great location ”
Our stay at 7 guest house was great. Nice and secluded area. You must know that it's not a beach. It's rocky and the tide goes down. But it's lovely to sleep with the sound of the sea and the sunset is amazing! The restaurant has great food and the staff are so friendly. We extended our stay an extra night, the bed was super comfortable. The only off part would be that it has a little fridge in the room but it was broken, it didn't even have a cable... They should just take it away for that! For the rest it was great. :)

Our Stay at Koh Chang 7 was perfect. The View from the room & Restaurant/Bar couldnt have been better. Everyone from the team was super friendly, always smiling and helpfull! My Third Stay, And I'll Be Back!”
Love, love, love this place! I've stayed a few times in the last couple months, and I'll be back soon. Staff are super friendly and helpful. You're always welcome here, a real family and friends vibe. Rooms are kept clean and cozy. The seaview villas are my happy place - there's nothing quite like waking up to the ocean. The breakfast area view is unbeatable too. Plus, they have PUPPIES and kayaks. What more could you want, really. As far as the restaurant, try the coffee-banana shake at breakfast, and the kimchi fried rice at lunch or dinner. I haven't personally tried the Korean BBQ, but all the other guests loved it. In my opinion, PERFECT location. It's only a 5 minute motorbike from the Lonely Beach nightlife scene and Nature Beach's sandy paradise, but that short distance gives you so much peace and quiet. I would 100% recommend this place to family, friends, and strangers. KoChang7 is the best.

Very nice Korean owners, polite. Typical island resort bordering the sea. Tranquil, cool restaurant/bar. Owner plays the guitar and sings at night. 4 beautiful dogs also on the property. Highly recommended for a chill put stay

Nice Seaview, no sand beach”
Good place at the sea. You need a motorbike. Attention NO Sand Beach only stones. As I drove everywhere is this no problem. Nice restaurant made with love. Take a front bungalow.

The owner was very helpful and spoke English that helped a lot ..the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve found in 2 weeks a nice wee setup the hot water machine tended to pop the fuse if on full heat but Thailand is full of janky wiring so not surprised ..a little hard to find the location not much singnage but a good spot right on the ocean..rocky but interesting watching the local fishermen ..thanks kohchang 7!!

Chilled place with very good food”
Restaurant was what made this place great...food was great, the area perfect for chilling out, also during the day, and placed by the sea with nice views, especially sunset. Management was very talkative with guest, sadly only the Korean guest though. The rest of us would have been fine with a " how was your day", but that never occured. Not even a "are you ok" after coming back from hospital, being taken there by a taxi booked by them. That would have been appreciated. They were not unkind to westerners at all - completely nice and polite, they just seemed to focus their attention on the Korean guests.

very basic”
the restaurant is the highlight. best view. the huts are very basic and small. bathroom good. wifi fast. the "garden" is not nice at all. the area outside the resort is full of junk, plastics, old scraped motorbikes and boats. the resort and whole area needs a cleanup. we stayed 3 nights, during that time nobody came to clean, change towels or empty the litterbins. the staff working in the restaurante was nice and helpful.

Beautiful waterfront stay with KohChang7 ”
KohChang7 Guesthouse is located directly on the water and has a beautiful waterside patio area with comfortable a sitting/lounging/eating area. They have a full kitchen and bar with fairly priced local and western foods that were quiet tastey! Located in a quiet bay just a few minute ride from "Lonely Beach". They have modern Oceanside bungalows with rooftop patios, as well as other less modern, inexpensive bungalows without the ocean view. Some have AC some don't. I stayed in a bungalow with fan. Bed was very comfortable! The room was extremely clean with a private bathroom. Tho there's no beach for swimming at the guesthouse but they have a kayak that they let me use free of charge! They also have a snorkeling gear and fishing rods(also free for guests;)) The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help with any question or request I asked. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend a stay with KohChang7 Guesthouse.

My home away from home”
Love the seaside bungalows! I live on the mainland and drive over to Koh Chang every other weekend, this is by far my favorite spot and best kept secret. The Korean family who runs the hostel are super kind and welcoming. Food is excellent and always served with a smile. Kayak rental is awesome and peaceful. Even during high season, this place is a mellow escape. You go to sleep to the sounds of the ocean and wake up to the sun reflecting off the waves. Literally, I watch the ocean from my spot in bed with my coffee after waking up. Bai Lan is a pretty location, and a 5 minute scooter from the heart of the nightlife action of Lonely Beach. Can't recommend Kochang 7 highly enough!

This is the place to go to! You have everything you need in Baylan Bay, like little stores, many restaurants, places to rent motorbikes... We had a little bungalow with lots of light falling in, a very comfortable bed and warm water shower. The sea is right in front and it has a very nice bar and restaurant. It is located at the end of a street and therefore very quiet. The people who work here are very warmhearted and read all your wishes right from your eyes. At Lonely beach you will find an Italien cafe, on the right side of 711 where you can find the best cappuccino and great bread. On the otherside you can go to Bang Bao, there is the great cafe Happy 420, where you can nourish your heart and feel the happiness of this place and it's loving people. Turn right at the first street.

Good value for money”
We stayed in the fan bugalow in end January, in fact it wasnt not so hot in the night and the AC wasn't missing. However when it became quite windy in the night tree branches were banging on the roof and waking us up, so u better check if the tree grows very close to the roof. The room was clean on our arrival, the bed sheets were clean and the matrass was comfortable. The family who runs the business and the staff are very friendly and speak English well. Thai food in the restaurant was tasty. Beautiful view from the restaurants terrace, beautiful sunsets. The sea around however is super rocky and shallow make it almost impossible to swim. Good budget accommodation if you're traveling on scooter or going to day trips and not planing to stay in the guest house all the day.

Lovely place with amazing location and view”
The place is run by a lovely Korean family. The view and location are amazing. The rooms are all decorated with taste and little touches which give more comfort to the guests. The seaside restaurant has very nice vibes. Excellent quality for the price range. We'll definitely go back.

Really nice huts in lovely Bailan Bay”
Really enjoyed our stay here. Had a hut each and it was nice for a change up rather than hotel or guesthouse. Plus the people who run it are lovely. Nice cheap food there and they were so friendly and easy to go swimming straight from the hut. Bailan is quiet but lonely beach is only a 15 min walk or even quicker if you rent a bike for only 200 baht a day. Highly recommend staying here. Loved it there.

Great bang for ya buck!”
Morning - coffee overlooking the ocean. Noon - swing in a hammock listening to the waves. Evening - sip a beer reclining on the deck. This place was a real diamond in the rough and great value for money. The location right by the sea is laid-back, with simple, clean rooms. The owners were a young, friendly (Japanese?) couple with two kids and two dogs. Some delicious Thai food at good prices. Everything about this place was spot on for a budget traveler. Hire a bike and use this as your base. (9 out of 10).

Extremely kind and helpful staff plus amazing restaurant!!”
The staff absolutely makes this place (along with the super sweet golden retriever who loves to swim). They are friendly and very helpful. It’s true there is no beach but there are stairs to get down to the water and we swam every day. Plus the waterfront restaurant area is beautiful and has loungers. The Korean BBQ food was incredible! They cook pork belly right at your table and it’s a ton of food at a very fair price. Again, the staff really shines here, they seemed to genuinely enjoy sharing this food experience with us. The downside to staying here for us was the accommodation. We stayed in a fan bungalow, and while it was cute it felt a bit over priced for what it was, with no screened windows and a very rickety wood floor with large cracks (we paid $15 per night when $10 would have felt more appropriate). One other downside was all the lighting that stays on all night long. It was very bright and couldn’t be fully blocked out. Overall we would stay again, when we left the staff hugged us goodbye, and we were genuinely sad to leave.

Awsome little bungalow right by the water”
We stayed in a bungalow with a seaview, had a sunchair right outside too. The room was great and great value for the money. This guesthouse is a little long away from partylife but its quiet and nice if you want to relax during the night. Not very far from Lonely Beach. If you rent a motobike then its easy to get around to wherever you want to go. Awsome familyrun Guesthouse right by the water and two restaurants you can choose from. Great, kind and caring family who runs it. I would recommend a visit to this place.
