I arrived at Seaview to find that they had received no word from my booking agent of my arrival. I know this as I was shown their list of pending guests, I was not on it. The ladies of Seaview were very concerned, I could see it in their faces and felt from the start that they genuinely wanted to do right by me. I went for lunch and when I returned they asked me to get in their car as my room was ready, but it was in another building at the other end of the beach. They had found me a room in another, very new modern hotel, and they were awesome! I was disappointed that I did not get to stay with them as I had been looking forward to it, but they made sure that I had all of the same beach experiences that they could have offered, despite a mix- up on the part of someone else, not themselves. That is a business with integrity and business ethics. They were gracious and kind, and yes, I recommend staying with these ladies (and the beach is gorgeous!). Thank you, Seaview!

A little slice of paradise”
Let me start by writing that we enjoyed every minute of our stay here; but do read the whole review before deciding. Pros; the beachfront location, view through the rooms' big French doors, the immediate access to the sandy beach, lovely beach walks and a pleasant sea swim, nice room with big comfy bed, nearby restaurants with some excellent food, scooter hire and 7/11 opposite the hotel, lovely staff, modest but filling and perfectly acceptable breakfast. Cons; (possibly) The seaview resort is not what I imagine most people would describe as a resort, it is a modest slightly dated hotel, with modernised rooms. We stayed in low season which meant the beach was practically a private beach. The lovely owners don't speak very good English. Door is locked by padlock which we spent much time trying to open and lock as it was very worn. Just mentioning these things to avoid any disappointment but as I said at the beginning we absolutely loved it here and would return in a heartbeat.

If u need calm, seek this hotel. Amazing sunset from here, pick seaview room. Cheap food stall go left from hotel, there a muslim stall...nice n cheap local food. Had one of the best sunset view in my life. Beach not suitable for swim though.

I first stayed in this guesthouse over five years ago and keep coming back. It is a small and friendly family run place and the family make every effort to make sure that you enjoy your stay. Most of the rooms overlook the beautiful Phang Nga Bay and the famous Hong Island. The sunsets from here are amazing! The rooms are clean and comfortable Breakfast is served fresh every morning. The selection is not large, but comprehensive and changes daily. The family who run the guesthouse are Muslim so you won’t find bacon or pork on the menu but there will be chicken substitutes, eggs cooked to order and plenty of fresh fruit. The location is only a short walk to the town’s restaurants and beach bars and there is a 7/11 across the road.

Very helpfull and friendly staff ”
I participated in the Krabi Oceanman 2019. Had to wake up at 04.30 am. Guess what? The staff prepared breakfast for me and gave me a ride to the start. They refused me paying for the ride. This is SERVICE

Seaview rooms are okay, the rest forget about”
Nice friendly staff and a decent place. The breakfasts were fair to middling. I booked a seaview room for two days and was happy altogether. I wanted to stay an extra night and was promised a seaview room again. At the last moment, too late to find another place, I was told none were available and was put in a very small, miserable room at the front of the resort where I could hear large trucks all night long. To be promised a good room and then to be put in this one spoiled my time there completely. The staff were friendly but not at all efficient. I would never go back there again.

Quite disappoint”
You have to go to the property by yourself, there are no taxi on the island so I asked the local to take me to the resort. Firstly, they don't know my booking so they don't prepare the room for me. After I tried to contact the owner by phone , he give me a room. The room isn't clean, sand on the floor. The location is the only thing I like, it's very near to the beach front and it's at the middle of the island.

Kind staff, but not worth the stay”
Very kind staff! But my room had an ant problem (in the bathroom and in my bed), toilet that flushed into the floor of the bathroom, and was very bare bones for the cost. Only good thing was that you're across from the 711 and they have lounge chairs (none available on the beach).
