The pool will not be heated due to equipment upgrades, however it will remain open.

During this time of year, the area surrounding the resort is prone to increased fire danger, which has prompted fire officials to implement fire restrictions for the Tonto National forest. Currently the resort is under fire restrictions. Do not use a fire. Smoking is prohibited except within an enclosed vehicle. Violators will be subjected to an individual fine USD 5,000. Please contact the property for more details.

Dining option: Zane Grey Country BBQ hours has changed hours:
- Wednesday to Friday 11:00 AM – 8 PM for Lunch and Dinner;
- Saturdays and Sundays 8:00 АМ – 8:00 PM for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner;
- Closed Monday and Tuesday.

The pool, spa, and deck at Kohl’s Ranch Lodge will be resurfaced beginning September 12, 2022. Project completion is anticipated by November 30, 2022.

A full replacement of the roof and gutters on the Lodge, lobby, restaurant, and saloon will take place beginning October 10, 2022. This project will also impact all studio and studio efficiency units. We anticipate completion of the project by the end of November.

Exceptional”

Always clean and well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant closed on Monday and Tuesday due to staffing issues that go back to COVID-19. There is a bar restaurant down the road that is always open and has a fun atmosphere.

Weekend Trip”

First time staying at Kohl's Ranch Lodge in one of their Studios. Drove up from the Phoenix Valley which did not take that long to get there. The staff was super friendly to me, the room was nice for a studio and was please with it. Everything was clean and well maintained. I would go back and would love to stay in one of the individual stand alone suite cabins around the property.

Very good”

The were not able to give us a key card until day and a half later. So had to ask to get back in our room whenever we left it.. The restaurant and bar are not open on monday or Tuesdays. No brochures of any local activities Very quiet and clean location, definitely will return when a cabin is available, next summer.

beautiful location with hiking trails very close. Lots of activities to do, perfect for kids. Basic room, small bathroom. But BEWARE sneaky fees. So check the fine print when you think you are getting a good deal!

Acceptable”

We will never use your site or Khol ever again. We didn’t stay there although we did pay for our stay because our two small dogs would have to stay in a kennel. This was not told us at time of reservation. We do not kennel our dogs!!!!!

Very good”

The radio was non functioning, the parking was limited, which we had to park quite a ways away from our room. Staff (Siena) was extremely friendly and accommodating which made me feel at home. Even though there was families with kids, the area was quiet and peaceful and the property was kept clean and presented a very nice curb appeal.
