Rikke & Rune from Denmark (travel period 2017-05-06 -2017-05-13)”
This place is amazing. Great staff, great hotel room (premium) and very good food which wasn't too pricey. Ritchel helped us with a private van and boat transfer, and she made it possible for us to arrive very late at night... We really appreciate. Gernerlly, we have been very satisfied with our stay and have absolutely nothing to complain about. We hope to come back one day. Warm greetings from Rune & Rikke

Above average”
These Resort is ok, but the Sun Chairs at the Beach have not or less Ombrellas. At the Pictures from the Resort you can see them.

Resort was very nice. My expensive room was not worth the money”
Good location right on the beach. The beach had good sand and was good for swimming (during high tide). Restaurant and the food was good. Staff was mostly good. They have a dive center across the street which was also good. What wasn't good (at least for the money you pay) was the penthouse room we had. It was room 14. As others have said, the rooms are decorated in a quirky fashion which is cool. However, the ceiling in this penthouse room is angled in such a way that basically the only place you can actually walk upright is between the front door and the shower (which is in the middle of the room). Everywhere else you have to bend over or hit your head on the ceiling. So while the footprint is large, the usable footprint is quite small. The overhead shower is nice but it's definitely not private. Don't book this if you're sharing a room with someone that you're not comfortable being naked in front of. There's no balcony to sit on, or place to hang wet clothes like every other room had. If you want sunshine you need to go out to the beach. It's an interesting room but it's not worth anywhere near the $175 USD per night I paid. Wish a smaller room with a balcony would have been available. That might be worth the price...

Great stay!”
We loved our stay at kokays. The rooms are big and spacious, with nice details and a super comfy bed. The restaurant serves a great breakfast and delicious meals and the private beach is perfect, quiet but still close to everything. The staff is really nice and we would recommend this place to everyone!

Great Hotel with Great Dive Shop!”
This hotel is FAR away from the city so think more before proceed booking. We arrived Cebu airport at 2 PM and went for lunch near the airport (the driver was arranged by hotel and he was very nice), we arrived the Maya Pier at around 7pm and have been told that the waves are too high so we need to stay in Cebu side for 1 night. I have to paid for the night stay in a cute and clean small apartment while for sure the payment i have paid to the hotel will not have any refund. We safely arrived the hotel next day morning with around 1 hour boat ride and went for diving the same afternoon. Great dive shop (hotel dive shop named Dive Society) i have to mention, with great diving master that can take care all your needs. Both of us (2 of us) were holder Advanced Open Water certificates already so booked for guided tour looking for the Thresher Shark and White Tip Reef Shark. Jera, the diving master, was the best we have ever met! He is good at finding good spots and location with a lot to see! we successfully found both sharks and mark an unforgettable experience here in Malapascua!! Anyway, the hotel was also cute and clean. The restaurant served great food which my friend, which is a vegetarian, also enjoyed her stay here! Must try their pizza and the traditional Mango dessert!! To be honest we didnt even walk out the hotel during our stay here (4 days) except the dives!! We were so sad that we needed to leave this beautiful island and hotel and will definitely come back!

Good choice ”
Although at first I didn't like the turmeric coloured building, the resort really grew on me. The rooms are very quirkily decorated but actually they are rather cute. We had room 11 upstairs in the corner, which had a small but good beach view. The only thing with the layout is that the downstairs level is super exposed to the restaurant and bar area (plus the divers continually walking thru from the beach to the dive shop Dive Society). I think it would be good to put in some type of wall or separation to give more privacy. The hotel's restaurant is very good with an extensive menu. It gets pretty crowded in the evenings, although the sound didn't carry too much which was a relief. The breakfast (which was included) was fantastic. The love heart sun lounges although a bit cheesy were great to chill on in between dives. The staff were all very lovely and accomodating. The service in the restaurant was pretty good compared to what we experienced else where

Nice beach front little hotel”
friendly staff, convenient location, wide menu selection. Pillows not so good and lighting condition could be improved.

Very Pleasant stay”
I and my husband really enjoyed our stay here last November 19-20, 2016. We particularly loved our room and our small veranda fronting the beach. The facilities are high standards and the beach fronting the resort was calm. The location of the resort was quiet, away from the parties on the other side of the island, which is ideal for some peace and quiet . We had a great time eating our breakfast at the beach front .. The food at their restaurant was also very very good specially the pizza. We really had a great time and we would like to go back here in the near future..
