Quiet hotel in pleasant surroundings with large swimming pool”
The hotel is set in quiet, very nice garden surroundings. It has a large pool, ranging from 1.0 - 2.5m deep, and a smaller one for children. It is close to the excellent Korat Zoo, the 100 Rai coffee shop and flower garden, and the Dan Kwian pottery centre, while not too far from Korat city and the Jim Thompson Farm. We stay here a few times a year for a peaceful family getaway.

Idyllic, peaceful location close to Korat Zoo. Much easier and more relaxed than driving into the city - especially during period of Covid19 where social interaction is not required. Older hotel but lovely setting. Excellent swimming pool and great for the kids. Remember to bring your trunks and goggles. Food good and even have a golf driving range on site. Easy access from Highway 2, 304 and 224.

Nice hotel in great surrounding outside Korat”
We check into this resort after spending 2 weeks travelling in North-Eastern Thailand. Wanted to get a good rest before heading home and this resort turn out to be a perfect choice. It is about 20km outside downtown Korat and totally out of the bad traffic in Korat, yet not too far and we can still drive to Korat for lunch to get the good food that Korat has to offer. It is also minutes from the great shopping at Dan Kwian. Most of the time, we just spend enjoying the peaceful environment, before heading to the nice resturant just before sunset to enjoy a great dinner in an outdoor set up. The color of the sunset and its reflections on the lake is priceless yet free. Before check out, I was able to have a few swings at the driving range. A tray of golf balls cost baht...

An improved experience at a favourite hotel!”
As a long time user of the Korat Resort Hotel on our trips to the area, I still recommend it to friends. An updated room (with a walk in shower) was a vast improvement over the older style rooms used many time previously. The re-introduction of later opening hours in the restaurant certainly makes it more traveler friendly. A perfectly satisfactory breakfast beats many similarly priced hotels. Having some mobility problems my room request was, on this occasion catered for, much to my relief. One does however wonder, why in this day and age my personal details are not kept on some type of data base, thus making registration easier? The staff, from the security at the gate, through to the Maitre d' in the restaurant all manage to be both friendly and polite. One thing however that still amazes me, is that, in the restaurant, the extremely extensive menu, does not have either the pages or the individual food items numbered - it is extremely frustrating, when trying to choose a selection of dishes to have to keep flicking through the menu to re-find items. I would add, that I have never been disappointed with the food at the Korat Resort Hotel. My one and only complaint (if it could be called that), is that softer pillows in the bedrooms would be much appreciated, the very firm (sponge?) ones provided managed to provide both my wife and self with cricks in the neck.

Basic, but comfortable hotel near Korat Zoo”
We stayed two nights at the Korat Resort Hotel: the room is very spacious - we could fit extra beds for our boys in the standard room. We could have had two connecting rooms (superior+standard) for approx the same price, but these were on different hotel wing which didn't appear to have been renovated (old carpeted floors) like the simply standard ones (laminate flooring), so we went for the newer looking standard room. The hotel is a bit old and the breakfast very basic, but the grounds and hotel set up are truly beautiful. The nearby Zoo is beautifully kept, the boys truly enjoyed. You can hire bikes and there is also a separate area with a swimming pool and slides.

What a nice hotel just on the outskirts of the main Korat town with nice relaxing garden area with a big pool (and a small one for kids) rooms are large and clean would recommend this to friends to stay we only stayed a night driving up from Koh Chang to nong kai but would stay there again when we pass through .Also with Agoda a good price and breakfast included also the staff freindly and helpful

Excellant, comfortable, and quite!”
Its out of the way without your own transportation. But, its just a great place to take a break and relax with a great pool and small but useful fitness gym. Sits on Hyw 2513 down the road from the Korat Zoo. You can drive into the heart of Korat in a matter of minutes. The staff is NOT proficient in English but they will work with you in getting the message across.

Hotel outside of town”
The Korat Resort Hotel was adequate for a couple of nights when visiting the area surrounding Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat). The Hotel grounds are very nice. The room was well worn and could be doing with a bit of a refurbishment. The staff were very nice and helpful, although most spoke limited English.

The staaf was very friendly. Large room and good food at the restaurant close to the small see. Normal american breakfast served by very nice people. Driving range close by if you play golf. 20 minutes to Korat golf and country club.

Quiet Hotel, nice surroundings”
The Resort was really nice. We went there in October. There were not many guests. The two pools were very clean. Staff helped us when we asked for. The garden and Resort are in a really good condition. The rooms are a bit oldschool, with green carpet, but very clean. There are not many things around the resort you can do, its a bit in the middle of nowhere, but with a car its fine. Without a car its nearly impossible to stay there. To Korat Zoo you drive 10 minutes

Location very good .Rooms are good but would be better if standard rooms offered double beds. No tea/coffee making facilities in standard rooms. Breakfast is good, and staff throughout the hotel are excellent. The restaurant is also very good, and very good prices. There is no golf course, only a golf range. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

Ignorant Staff”
The hotel has some serious customer service issues. The reception staff do not relate to customers at all. Having stayed in many hotels in Thailand over the past 10 years I have found that most hotel staff live up to 'The Land of Smiles' motto, this is not the case at The Korat Resort. They reception staff ignore their customers when entering or leaving the hotel and I got the distinct impression that they, The Staff were doing us a favour by letting us stay there. This hotel needs a huge shake up as far as customer service is concered, which is a real shame as its location and grounds are amazing.
