OYO 625 Heritage Hotel exceeded my expectations.”

Granted, Kota Tinggi is a smaller town in Johor. I was not expecting getting a warm treatment at a 3 Stars establishment. Courteous & helpful staffs, clean & quiet environment, safe parking & most importantly next to a mall & yummy eateries. A truly Kota Tinggi charm. I starting to like this town 😊

One stop stay in Kota Tinggi”

This hotel have a lot of room. The location is also perfect for both leisure and business trip. The cinema, restaurants, malls, laundry, massage and hardware all in walking distance. The price is reasonable even during peak season. Is a must stay while in Kota Tinggi.

Value for money”

We stayed in the family suite with 2 queen beds. Value for money if you looking for a comfortable short night stay. Mostly clean except for the inside of cupboard had some wood bits falling apart at the sides. Inside of the cupboard not clean, and some dead small ants were found in the kettle. Other than that beds were clean (no bed bugs) all of us including kids slept well. Staff were very polite. Breakfast is included but can give a miss. Cold spicy fried kuay tiao and mee goreng. Some plain bread and simple spread available too. Only the hot tea and coffee was ok. Nonetheless, it is still the best hotel we have stayed in Kota Tinggi to date. Driving wise is very near the Kota Tinggi Firefly Park (less than 10 min). Great experience for the kids who wanted to see the fireflies. Will come back to stay here again in future

Regatta Hotel”

As first time visitors to Kota Tinggi we basically chose a hotel that was close to the Johor International Dragon Boat venue Laman Tun Sri Tanang on Sungai Johor. At the pier in the river. The race organizers were using this hotel as a base of operations so we took a chance. Price was reasonable & the room was fine. We had a fridge, table/desk, closet, hot water & rain fall shower head. AC worked well & breakfast was included. Location was perfect with a mall's, shopping centers, massage & laundry facilities right next door. Many restaurant & food options as well. A 10 minute walk to the Harbor Pier was perfect every morning. Transfer time from airport was 50min by van then 70 by bus on the return. We'll have no problem staying here again next year should the opportunity present itself.

Awesome”

Kota Heritage Hotel is walking distance from the bus terminal. The food offered nearby is affordable and delicious. The malls nearby cater to our needs for entertainment. Staff are very friendly. From the window of our room, we are able to see fireworks during national day eve.

Clean and Cosy Rooms”

The hotel is conveniently located in the town of Kota Tinggi. Rooms are cosy, we slept well at night. Security is okay around the area. A problem I faced when checking in was that the front desk staff do not understand and speak English. They insisted me to send them the hotel voucher from Agoda so they can print it when it is stated clearly that we just need to show it to them. After sending the email 3 times they still did not receive it. So in the end we were given our keys with RM50 deposit per additional key card we requested for. Even though it was a slightly unpleasant experience, we will return to stay as the place is clean and cosy.

Value for money Hotel”

Stayed for one night during a short-getaway to Kota Tinggi on a weekend. Good - Hotel was very clean and rooms had excellent upkeep. - Good location - Value-for-money for a 2-Star Hotel. Bad - The vibe the counter staff gave when we first stepped into the hotel wasn't welcoming at all. - There wasn't WiFi except at the lobby. 2nd floor had the WiFi signal but wasn't able to connect. - Safe was already locked when we entered the room, hence unusable.

Friendly Staffs and Clean Environment”

Overall great, meeting my needs of a short visit to Kota Tinggi with my family. If I were to nitpick maybe the Wifi in the rooms can be improved as we were able to go into Wifi often, think it is a matter of technical support. And some may not be totally comfortable with the bathroom wall bring translucent frosted glass, perhaps having a curtain can help.

Good bed & nice shower head ”

We were taking Studio Suite. It was a surprise to find out the shower head was of good design. The location is quite good, about 15 minutes walk from Kota Tinggi bus terminal and 20 minutes drive from Kota Tinggi Waterfall. There is a MBO cinema beside the hotel. The breakfast was okay and the staffs are friendly. Will definitely come back if going for Kota Tinggi again.

A must stay hotel at Kota Tinggi”

Every details are carefully considered by the owner. Quality bed and room fittings for a 2 stars hotel due to missing part of hotel facilities such as breakfast and swimming pool. Staff are helpful to attend to your request. The only think i can pick on the hotel is the lack of shower screen in the bathroom and the sound proof is quite weak (connecting room). Overall a good stay and its my choice when i visit Kota Tinggi again.

Best hotel in Kota Tinggi. Value for money and perfect location ”

I have stayed Kota Tinggi for almost 15 days and booked few hotels and I highly recommen this hotel really value for money and perfect location. Hotel attached with shopping complex, MBO theatre.

Good Location, Next to the only Cinema in town”

This was our second stay at this hotel. It is one of the better hotels at Kota tinggi. The hotel is situated next to Heritage Mall and opposite Kip Mart. Another 10 mins walk will bring you to the town center. The hotel is clean and staff are courteous. Go give it a try.

Good budget hotel”

Close proximity to Heritage Mall which we were surprised that there was a cinema in it. Very affordable and the rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Quick in room service when we requested for toilet/tissue paper to be replenished. Friendly reception. will stay again if were to head to Kota Tinggi.

A better Hotel in Kota Tinggi”

This hotel is newly renovated and vould easily be one of the better hotels in Kota Tinggi, Most of the other hotels are in dire need of renovation, It is located opposite Kip Mart. The hotel is within walking distance to Kota Tinggi bus terminal. Plenty of food everywhere, one just need to walk around to look to look for what they want.

Little improvement on the TV Channel”

This hotel for me is very good and comfortable. I would come back again when ever I'm at Kota Tinggi. Just that im a little disappointed with the TV Channel provided by the hotel. Some of the channel were not clear and limited choice. I would like to recommend the hotel to get more channel for better improvement. Thank you.

Facilities not working!”

The hotel is located quite near to Kota Tinggi Firefly Park where we visited before checking in. The room is clean and there is security of room key card. However, the room telephone is not working and Wifi signal and speed is very slow. There is no curtain or door in the bathing area to prevent the shower water from splashing into the basin / wc area. This resulted in the floor at basin / wc area getting wet and difficult to change clothing without getting wet. Overall, good and pleasant stay.

Not bad”

Overall I think it is a good stay. The hotel is quite new as it was only built in 2012. However there is no reserved parking lots for cars. you will need to purchase your own parking coupon there. most of the hotels kt do not provide WiFi. but kota heritage hotel has it, this is a plus point. for the room, we find that the bed is too short. I'm not very tall, about 1.6 m yet my legs are hanging at the edge of the bed.

Nice hotel”

We stayed in the Kota Heritage hotel for one night in Feb 2017. The hotel is OK, walking distance from th city center. We booked a room with a window, but the window was facing the neigbouring shopping center at some ten meters distance. There were some quite loud people outside (it was Saturday night), but fortunately they left before we went to sleep. The room was nice and clean, the bed comfortable. The only thing was that the shelf to place the suitcase was broken. The breakfast was very limited. Slices of white bread, a toaster, scrambled eggs, three types of hot food, tea and coffee.
