Thank you for the review and recommendations. The hotel is about 15 kilometers from Ao Nang Beach. There is a taxi service to the hotel which is cheaper than outside.
Basic accommodation and value for money”
Interior quite old and run down. cleanliness is above average. worth the stay if just for a night or 2 as it is value for money. There is a swimming pool as well.

Ever been to a place so dirty you don't even dare to take off your shoes inside your room? This is such a place. The place is extremely dirty. Been in Thailand many time, seen bad places but nothing comes close to this. There is also no food, no breakfast. The coffee is bad, the staff is rude and besides instant noodles there is nothing to eat.

We have the best accommodation in Thailand at Krabi home town boutique ! Big room , amazing bed and mattress,fridge and water ,free coffee ! So clean!! The stuff friendly and they help us with everything we need !! Only 10 minutes for the krabi town and 20 minutes to Ao nang! The pool clean and we could use it 24 hours !! Great hotel and friendly staff”
Staff friendly on arrival, room was very clean, towels and toiletries provided. There is a shuttle to Krabi Town around 8am free of charge, alternatively there is a pick up vehicle, however there is no defined location for this so it is more walk and hope that they see you. Garden view was good and shower was not plastic which was a pleasant sight to see.

Good value hotel if arriving late into airport ”
This hotel is exactly what you expect for a 2 or 3 star hotel in Thailand. Room was clean enough, nice sheets and towels. Comfortable bed and good AC. We had nice view on pool and common areas were ok. We stayed one night after landing around 1900 — served its purpose perfectly and kids even managed a swim. We then transferred to ferry at railay pier in the morning. In all, this is a great value hotel for arriving/departing krabi. I wouldn’t stay for the entire holiday but nice enough for a night.

Nice large room. Clean swimming pool. Friendly staff. We had a car so could travel around as it's not close to the town. The staff can order food for you from local restaurants. Also brilliant dim sum restaurant 3 minute walk away Only negative was the bathroom. Not enough water pressure and dated

The staff were super friendly! Got a reasonable sized pool. Big room. Shower room could be a bit brighter but you get what you pay. Nothing to complain here. And 20 minutes to the airport with free service shuttle bus!

Very far away from town so your basically stuck in a middle of nowhere if you don’t have a motorbike! They only provide airport shuttle to the airport and refused to drop us off at bus station 2 minutes down the road! Also staff charges 50 baht to use their private phones to call to book a taxi. There’s no hotel phone at the reception! There’s only certain times when you can get dropped off to town but if you need arrival pick up you need to let them know 2 days in advance! We arranged a pick up from Krabi town for 8pm and the hotel driver turned up 40 minutes late! The toilet in our room didn’t work as it should and air conditioning made a lot of noise when trying to sleep! Good things - you get free coffee in the morning and there’s a pool where you can cool down if there isn’t a hundred of kids running around crying and screaming!

Krabi public transportation is not convenient. The hotel got provide cheaper transportation compare to travel around Krabi and Aonang Beach. The staff are friendly and very helpful to converse in English. Best thing is free shuttle back to airport and disappointing is the location is too far from everywhere.

Very last minute choice to stay here but so glad we are!! Close enough to the airport plus they offer a free shuttle. Also there’s a beautiful pool and updated facilities. Very nice man at front desk. Would stay again if ever in the area.

Very clean but with a few hiccups on facilities where maintenance was poor and the swimming pool went "green" - notwithstanding this having had a scooter for our two weeks there the accommodation was fantastic and the staff extremely helpful responding instantly to any issues raised - Get a bike and you are in a great place!
