Hotel stay at blumonkey pooltara is so enjoyable and new experience, surrounded by the nature with birds chirping and ducks running around. The room is clean and the staffs there are so helpful and friendly especially Kae. Thank you so much ! Would recommend to our Malaysian friends . Definitely will come back again .

What a wonderful place with the lovely Kae and her friendly staff, who will help you with everything you need. There is a great swimming pool and you can use the kayaks for free at this place. Beautiful and big villa's. The place is in the middle of nowhere, so it's very quiet. Own car/scooter is recommended. We didn't have it, but came to escape from the crowded places. Delicious pies and cakes at the bakery on the property with 10% discount for guests of the hotel.

Greenery, Fresh Air and Friendly Staff”
If you had enough city living, this will be perfect. We are a family of 4, all of us enjoyed it; bird chirping, smell of fresh air, kayaking through natural small stream etc. Krabi and Aonang towns are 17km away, but pleasant driving. Special thanks to Khun Kae, a service oriented manager with her team of well mannered and well trained staff; that made us all feel at home.

Acceptable”
The location is beautiful, tucked away like a hidden oasis in the jungle. However, it is obvious that the property is not being well maintained. The kayaks were filthy, full of rainwater and debris. I had to clean them out myself in order to use them. Additionally, the restaurant on-site closes at 1 PM, before check-in. There are no restaurants nearby, which made for a rough evening after a long day of travel. The tiny cafe on the property was the best part of my stay. The staff was very friendly (much moreso than the hotel staff!) and the pastries were fantastic.

Fantastic location and super friendly staff!”
We only stayed one night but wish we had more. Located right off the river, Pooltara has a great location in addition to the super hospitality, fantastic food and lovely pool. We were offered free transport to explore locally, and super cheap transport from the airport. The accommodations were well super clean and well tended. Hands down we will be back and I would gladly recommend this unique Krabi establishment.

Very relaxing and green!”
Our stay at Phutara Resort was wonderful. The room was beautiful, very comfortable beds. Food was excellent. Entire property very clean and green :) staff was very friendly and kind they drove us to Huai To Waterfull and Krabi Town and offered to pick us up when we were ready. They also provide lots of information for tourists whoever is interested. Overall our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. I would highly recommend this resort. One thing.. Something was in our house and chewed up my headphones and pants during the night. That's the only minus.

Pros spring water pool, senior staff do ALL in their power to grant every wish , cons, junior staff really no English which made things tricky ......... my daughter loved all the cats and dogs that live at pooltara. Really nurturing and relaxing environment. Make sure to cycle to sa greuw which is where the spring originates. Very peaceful and cave/ shrine next door. Enjoy enjoy

ONE OF THE BEST HOTEL EVER”
Let me get this out of the way first, location wise it's quite far away from Ao Nang or Krabi town, so either get a rental car or make use of their paid shuttle service. Room was AMAZING, breakfast was AMAZING (they do serve the generic hotel breakfast of toast and eggs but the main plus point is that they serve local Thai food as well), Staff were AMAZING (everyone is very friendly and helpful), Facilities were AMAZING (normal motorbike with gear is free to use, scooters come with a rental fee, bicycles are free as well). The natural outdoor river serves as the hotel's swimming pool which is very nice and clean. We LOVED the dogs and cats here, always around us at the breakfast area and outside our rooms.

Beautiful fresh springs in a haven away from town ”
The appeal of these guest houses are that they are away from the busy tourist areas of Krabi. However be aware that you may want to have your own transport if you want to explore the surrounding area at all. Also the beautiful fresh springs you have to yourself all day are a tourist destination unto themselves with truck loads of tourists arriving to swim in early afternoon as part of their set tours. The hotel also does't have an email address or phone line.

A getaway of getaways”
Our stay was wonderful. Cosy room by a small river, where we can feed the fishes and take in the orchard village atsmosphere. Fresh air and yummy food. Staff were EXCELLENT and made our stay feel like home. Lovely emerald river next to the resort (for kayaking and swiming) and can chill by the pool. The auxilliary team were 2 lovely dogs (Creamy was a large heavy gentle giant of a Corgie) and 2 lovely cats (Money and Mairoi), who was always around to put a smile on our face and laughter all round with their cuteness. Special thanks to Pat, owner Jack, his daughter Fias, and manager Kheaw, for the homely welcome they extended to us. Definitely will come back again and again!! ~ with lots of love from us

Set amongst lush green tropical forest, Pool Tara is a wonderful holiday resort with the spring water creek runs through. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was so authentic local food we couldn’t have enough. We felt so welcoming throughout our stay and are looking forward to go back.

off the beaten track”
This is a place you visit if you have your own transportation, located in between the mountains and "fiords" of Krabi. It is situated by a river where you can swim, as the locals do further down. For the price we paid the bungalows were quite good. We came in low season, so very few guests, but the very friendly staff managed to serve good and reasonably priced food in the cafeteria. Very friendly thai owner, he gives you all kinds of advice.
