i have made kuala selangor almost a yearly trip. and i had experienced several different hotel in kuala selangor, now i would say, sun inns get my votes in kuala selangor area. it is conveniently located at the centre of few tourist attraction in kuala selangor. all within ten minutes car ride. (you are highly encourage to possess your own transport thou) when i first come across sun inns, i thought it will be like one of any other cheap hotel. yes, all basic amenties provided, bed, private shower, individual air-cond, water dispenser. sun inns also comes with ample parking spaces, alot of food outlet within walking distance, even a 24hr food outlet nearby the hotel. the receptionist greets all customer is great smile, and all guess will get a welcoming letter from the manager mr george. and to top it all, i actually get a personal call from mr george the day after i left the hotel. what else can you expect from a budget hotel like. big thumbs up for sun inns

We had one night stay to visit Kuala Selangor. The hotel is located at a strategic places where there are many attractions and eateries nearby. It is like 10 minutes drive to Warung Ibu, which served Nasi Ambeng for lunch. About 7 minutes drive to Cendol Durian Borhan as well as Gelas Air Besar Dinding. It is about 5 minutes drive to Kota Melawati, Jeti to Sky Mirror and Eagle Feeding, D'Coral Seafood restaurant as well as to Pasar Awam Pasir Penimbang where you could buy fresh seafood. Kelip-Kelip Bukit Belimbing is about 10-15 minutes drive. The room is satisfying. Airconditioning is good, toilet is comfortable. bed also good. however, the room is lack with sound proof. you could hear people's movement and kids running outside. No breakfast provided but we could always try local foods.

We were greeted by a lovely staff and check-in was a breeze. No designated parking but there are ample of parking space around the hotel. The hotel is close to nearby eateries such as Pizza Hut, KFC (if you enjoy fast food) and 24 hr Mamak stalls just around the corner. There is a clinic right in front and other convenient stores close by. The room was clean and comfortable. Would have been better a mirror was provided in the room itself. They have one in the washroom. The hotel is also close to nearby attractions; Bukit Malawati, Fireflies Kuala Selangor and Jeram, known for its seafood. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

I went there by car, so the first problem is to look for a parking space but luckily there was one right in front of the hotel. Checking in was a breeze, the staff was not fussy about identification and stuff. The hotel is situated right in front of the entrance of bukit Melawati which makes it a very strategic place. The town itself is small and food there is cheap (I'm staying in KL). Also, you can find some great seafood place if you drive across the Selangor river. We had dinner at Riverview Restaurant, superb! Later that night, we went to kampung Kuantan for firefly watching, it was as the brochures promised, you can see trees light up like xmas trees! The price is MYR50 per sampan(boat) and the max. laod is 4 passengers. After the fireflies, we retired for the night. The hotel was quite quiet save for the voices of excited kids coming back to the hotel from their trip. We also drove up to Sekinchan the next day to look at the paddy fields and fishing villages. Anyway, I think anyone going to Kuala Selangor should have their own vehicles, if not, book a tour cause I did not see a lot of public transport there.

Decent stay, everything is as expected as per review observed in Agoda users review. Family room is without window, which is still acceptable but will be better if it's with window. Car park is okay but only downside is it's open car-park (security aspect). Just local TV channel, nothing else available. Sound proof in room is average, it'll depends if you get noisy or quiet neighbor next door. Didn't take meal at hotel, hence unable to comment on food. Overall, still a recommended place if you intend to stay overnight in Kuala Selangor, it's really a great location to vast food/seafood choices and local attraction spots.
