Good Hotel With Exceptional Staffs”
This is a Five Star Hotel with friendly staffs. It's a fairly new property and on the left hand side of the property there is a 7-Eleven, McDonalds, Kungfu Restaurant, Japanese Restaurant, and Korean Restaurant & Luckin Coffee. Not faraway is Utown Shopping that caters to your other needs (Starbuck, Various Restaurant, Watson Pharmacy, etc) The subway is a bit of walking distance away and always remember to exit Chaoyang Station (thru North East Exit). It is kinda hard to grab a cab even though it is winter due to fear of the virus I guess. So, walking back to hotel is BEST option. Just don't get the wrong exit and is easy to get lost in a foreign city. During our stay, Coach Ren (at the swimming pool offers quite a few tips) on how to swim for my kids as well places we can still visit during the city-wide lock-down. So, for me he is quite a 10-Points Staff! Concierge can help you with hailing of cab to the airports (Beijing International or Daxing). Kudo to Khuntai!

Nice hotel, but overcharged us ”
Lovely hotel, although English is limited. We said we’d like breakfast one day for my husband and I. But then we never made it because it ended too early and we had to go on our tours. The hotel ended up charging us for 4 breakfasts! It was $70 USD, and they refused to remove the charge. They said they made us extra food, but we never even told them which of our 4 mornings we were going to eat.

We stayed here several nights and it was fine. Nothing amazing considering the price. The staff upstairs were so helpful and kind, but the desk/reception staff seemed indifferent to any concerns. As if they couldn't be bothered.

Good Hotel but for being 5 Star hotel needs more people like Potter who speaks English.”
Before reaching Beijing I fully uploaded all the apps like Didi..Chinese Uber and other apps but the problem I faced is how to use them. After dealing and talking with so many people in reception finally I found the right person Potter who went out of his ways to make sure all my apps are working on my both cell phones Iphone 7 and Moto 4. After Potter fix my apps problems I was visiting places in Beijing like locals without knowing Chinese. It was an awesome experience visiting Beijing. Kuntai needs improvement in there housekeeping services like our room carpet has stains. Location is great. Everything is close like 5 minutes walking distance Walmart, McDonald's, Pizza Hut and a big Uptown Mall with a great Thai food restaurant. Being 5 star hotel, Kuntai needs a lots of improvement. Just because of Potter and couple other person in Concierge department I would be recommending this hotel and don't mind coming back and staying in Kuntai

The hotel was way better than I expected! I was worried because some reviews said it’s outdated but they are maintaining it really well! It’s very nice and clean with great location! Walking distance to subway station and several shopping malls. So much food options around, from local street food to high end fancy restaurants. Staffs are very friendly, my husband does not speak Chinese and they will alway greet him in English when we come in and out. I normally don’t leave comments for hotels and this is my first time doing it because we really had a great time at the Kuntai Royal hotel. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

The room was very spacious and clean. Many facilities and gadgets are available. Great location, quiet, and friendly stuff. Compared to more expensive hotels around that area, Kuntai Royal definitely stands out in terms of value.

I stayed the Kuntai Royal Hotel for 3 nights and i quite like the hotel. It's clean and new. There are some good shopping malls; coffee shops; restaurants; bars nearby. It only takes about 15 minutes by car to Tiananman square and the palace museum. I will stay there again if i have a chance to Beijing.

Pleasant Stay ”
We booked 2 rooms for 6 nights at Kuntai. When we first arrived, we felt that the hotel is not very bright with lots of wooden furniture. After shower I can smell a bit of smoke smell in the toilet. We thought the the hotel is old and were a bit disappointed. But to our surprise, the bed was comfortable, the toilet bowl & shower area was clean and water pressure was good. All the sheets and towels were very white and fresh. We slept well except for my husband because he finds the blanket too thick and irregular aircon temperature. The rest of us find it ok. The best part is the breakfast, a wide variety, we have a wonderful meal every morning. As for the coffee, it’s hard to get thick and creamy coffee in China. Thus, please lower your expectations. Walmart, UTown mall, 7 Eleven and Holland bakery nearby. Pretty convenient to purchase supplies and nice food in UTown mall. Overall the stay was great.

Good hotel but English speaking staff would help”
Good location in the Embassy area of Beijing. Hotel was clean, tidy and well presented. The internet in the rooms was sporadic and needed a plug-in connection - not Wi-Fi. The staff were prompt and friendly and could not do enough for you. The only negative I would put is that none of the staff could understand English.

Hotel was clean, with good facilities and modern. If you are comfortable with staying in Beijing withou much concierge support then it’s a great choice as has everything you need in a good location at a great price. But the staff, while very polite, don’t speak great English so don’t expect too much touristic support. WiFi was rubbish but not uncommon. Would definitely stay there again

For small children it is good the sun park is 10 minutes walk from the hotel. In Ritan park, sun park there is lot of activities for small children also for the parents. Hotel is at embassy area and close to silk street market. Hotel has reasonable price. If you dont have breakfast there is starbucs kaffee just acorss the street.

Value for money”
Situated at convenient location, got mall and supermarket nearby hotel. Bus stop right in front of hotel and train station within 10mins walk. Staff and service was excellent. Air humidifier provided in room definitely helps a lot in beijing dry winter weather. Room is clean though room interior shows signs of ageing. Overall very pleasant stay.

Great local hotel”
Great hotel with huge room. Everything you need and close enough to everything that I needed to achieve in the Chaoyang Area. To top it off, it is a 2 minute drive to Sanlitun.

Great 5 star hotel in Chaoyang. It's about a 7 minute walk to the subway line. Plenty of restaurants and food within walking distance. The swimming pool and gym are very nice. The rooms are nicely appointed. My only complaint is that the AC doesn't work in the winter. I've noticed this throughout other Beijing hotels.

good location, in the shopping center of beijing. subway station is in 5 minutes of walking distance. friendly staff. big and silent room. swimming pool and sauna are ok. breakfast (not included)and mini bar are very expensive as compared to other beijing hotels. good hotel for its money.

Huge room. Not new hotel but very well maintenance facility. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location: central & easy to access to main attractions in Beijing. Located on a very big street so safe for woman to walk at night. Convenience 24/7 store & shopping mall nearby.
