If someone is looking for the cheap and clean hotel, I think Kuretake-Inn Kakegawa is meet your requirement. The hotel is located nearby railway station and Lawson. The staff of the hotel can't really speak English and therefore, is hard to communicate. The room is clean and the breakfast is normal.

Tired room but clean and friendly staff”
This is an old hotel and the rooms have seen better days. Ours had wallpaper that was peeling off which made it feel shabby and not so welcoming. There wasn't a kettle but an old-fashioned tin pot on a heating pad. Air Cond is the old Off/1/2/3 type. The room was definitely clean and the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. This is a working/business style hotel and the breakfast buffet was definitely filling and appreciated. Great coffee.

It was awesome because it is just a 5 min walk from the train station, there's a convenient store nearby and hotel staff were polite and friendly. Will visit hotel again in the future.

Good location, service but bad room arrangement”
I remembered I asked non smoking room when i ordered this hotel. However, I were arranged to smoking room. for me, it's a pretty big oversight because I didn't go there alone. I went to there with my wife and son. If they could solve this issue, I think i would give them one more chance to service.

1泊朝食付きで、この値段で泊まれるなんて凄い‼️ しかもウェルカムドリンク（アルコールもOK）や、カレーライスも20時までなら無料でした。 朝食の焼き立てクロワッサンも美味しかったです。 残念だったのは、バスタブが狭くて身体が洗いにくい所と、バスタブの排水が悪く… シャワーしか利用してないのに、足元にお湯が溜まっていくのが難点でした。 デメリットよりもメリットの方が大きいです。おすすめのホテルです。

数年ぶりに再会する友人を訪ねての1人旅でした。 駅から近い事、料金が手軽なことで選びました。 新しくは無いですが、きちんと掃除も行き届いており、寝るためだけですが快適に過ごせました。 ウエルカムドリンクとして、飲み物一杯サービス（ロビーでセルフ）もあり、17時〜はビールも含まれると説明がありました。 出かけてしまったので利用はしませんでしたが… 無料の朝食も申し分なく、働いているおばさま方がとても親切で親しみやすく、朝から気持ちよく過ごせました。 また機会があればお世話になりたいです。

20:00までウェルカムドリンクでアルコールを頂けます。 17:00からはカレーのサービス(用意した分まで)あり、嬉しいおもてなしです。 設備に古さは感じますが、必要なものは全てあり、快適に過ごせます。 朝食も野菜中心に幅広いメニューがあり満足しました。 また利用したいです。
