The hotel is lovely and spacious. Very comfortable. We got a room which faces the sea which is a big bonus. Love it! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Just Passing Through”
I do not know why you might be going to Kushiro, but if you did, this would be a great hotel to stay the night. The location was good for me because I had just visited the Okhotsk Sea Ice Museum (about 10 minutes drive away), and would be headed to Kamiyubetsu the next day (about an hour or more). So I needed a place to hole up for the night. Kushiro Prince is a 3 star hotel with the feel of a 4 or even 5 star hotel. I was there on a Sunday evening, and most of the eateries in the area were closed. We had dinner at the top floor restaurant at the hotel, and watched the sun set over the Kushiro docks. There is a mini-mart at the lobby with most convenience store offerings. There are strangely very few convenience stores in the area. Just a Lawson and an 7-i within 5 minutes walk. Parking is free for guests, but you need to validate at the front desk to get free parking. I did not know and almost paid 6900 yen for overnight parking. Which would be very expensive.

Functional hotel”
Rather old than what the picture suggests. The worrying thing is if there is strong wind, it feels like the building is been blown. The bad part is though we request for non-smoking, the next door is a smoking room. We can smell the smoke. It totally defeat the purpose of non-smoking and ended up breathing 2nd hand smoke. Better go to stay at Toyoko Inn nearby.

Kushiro is not a modern city, actually a bit old-fashioned. this hotel seems to be one of the best already in the town. still, the room is small and looks a bit old. the air-conditioning does not function very well, which made the room stuffy. needa open the window to let some fresh air in. one merit is there are enough washing and drying machine in the laundry.

Nice night view from the guest room”
One of representative hotel in Kushiro. Room has nice view as I expected. Big window helps to enjoy the city view of Kushiro. Linen of bed was so fresh and clean enough to feel me want to sleep more and more. I think it could be difference between 3 stars hotel and 4 stars hotel. View from breakfast restaurant located on 17th floor was even better. Had nice stay in this hotel so much.

I arrived at the hotel at midnight with a car, and didn't have breakfast the next morning. So I can't comment on the food or location much. But it has a great view of the sea with just a few short buildings in front. Overall, it's typical small Japanese hotel which is comfortable with good view at a reasonable price.

Standard hotel and standard breakfast”
Room is big but a bit dated. We booked the room with breakfast and the breakfast is served in the wedding hall on the top floor with very nice view overlooking the city. Food of breakfast tastes fine but the freshly baked bread is nice.

This hotel seems to have a lot of businessmen although it's a bit old hotel. The staffs are professional than other hotels I booked in this trip. There is no onsen here but washing machine is available if you want.

Hotel looks dated and distance from JR Kushiro station is further than expected. Streets are well lit at night.

Great value for money”
Generally it's a great place to stay and very well-located. But I was disappointed that the carpet was soon dirty; it looked like splattered blood that I got a shock when I came across it. Stains have been removed. The staff was good and tried to offer a change of room but the room offered reeked of cigarette smoke. Still she was nice about it.
