The Kuta Indah Hotel is perfect for adventurers, backpackers, and surfers who enjoy traveling without spending much money. Positioned across from the pristine beaches of Kuta, the views surrounding the hotel are outstanding. It’s only an hour's drive from Sengiggi and about the same from the Lembar Harbor. Head for the waves straight away or enjoy the comforts of the hotel first. Rooms are available to fit your taste and budget. Each comes with a private balcony and standard amenities. The hotel's swimming pool is perfect for relaxing all day in or to come home to after a day on the island. A restaurant and bar are also on-site and perfect for meeting other travelers from around the world. Renting a bicycle to further explore this enchanting island is always a fine idea.
"The pool was clean and a nice addition."

Great pool and garden. good location and the store right in front of the gate (to your right) can organise you transport, scooters and are super helpful and honest as well. Had a fantastic time there and went back twice already
Nice Villas, Nice Pool, Nice short walk from town”
We stayed here for 4 nights. We had one big spider on the ceiling the first night. Other than that it was great. Nice beds, nice pool. They let us use there hot water maker for our food. They also see food but you might as well walk right across the road. It is a little walk from town, which I enjoyed because the best local restaurants where along that walk. There is a yoga studio in walking distance the opposite way from town, so this was a nice center location.
A hotel, just to have a comfortable bed and good night rest.”
The price we paid for a room in this hotel, was good enough just to stay if you are a person to spend your day outside. We booked the cheapest room from this hotel, it was not very clean, maintained and the aircon was not strong, but good enough to have a cooled room. We booked this hotel for two nights for a very cheap price, because we knew we will not stay in the hotel too much. If you are a person that goes outside all day long, then is this hotel good enough and on walking distance from the restaurants and bars were more tourist eating or drinking. If you rent a bike, it won't take longer then 15min to reach the Lombok Kuta beach. I only recommend you this, if you are an easy going person that wants a cheap stay that is well located. We will only book this hotel again for the price, location and if our purpose is to just spend the night in a comfy bed.
nice pool and large, well-kept grounds. definitely the best budget hotel option in the Kuta area. breakfast was reasonably nice. rooms are comfortable, though not exactly "luxury." tip: go for the rooms in the main building, which are way better than the cabanas. Kuta is a gorgeous place, gorgeous beaches and great little restaurants. it's one of the most underrated destinations in Indonesia -- an undiscovered gem. we stayed for a few weeks and loved every minute! for surfers, it's a much better option than over-crowded Bali.
Best Value for the Money”
Very friendly staff, upgraded our room just be nice. We originally only booked 2 nights, but ended up staying 5. Only 1km away from the main strip. Comfortable beds. Now, this is a $10-20 a night place so don't expect the Ritz Carlton in terms of cleanliness and upkeep, but value for the money there is probably not a better spot in town for a private room. And the sunrise is absolutely amazing to take in from the courtyard as the light through the palm trees on the property is incredibly stunning.
after a disappointing experience at a Selong belanak hotel, we moved here and stayed five days and loved it. beautiful pool, peaceful atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff. A short walk to downtown and excellent restaurants but not in the heavy tourist district. A foreign food store called Temptations right next store. Breakfasts were basic, but filling and made to order. All this for half the price of the "rustic huts" in Selling Belanak. I give this hotel and EXCELLENT rating.
Nice comfortable bed”
I've been here many times, hotel is very old and dated, but staff tried really hard to maintain it and make the hotel looks nicer , lovely and friendly staff, breakfast also nice and good. room comfortable and quite, pool always clean.
solo male experience”
My 10 day stay was good, better than anticipated. Pool was great for relaxing and clean and seemed well chlorinated. Rooms were spread out and this gave a nice relaxing uncrowded feel. Staff were friendly and enthusiastic to practice their English. Its the sort of place where you seem at ease and other guests seem easier to talk to.
nice hotel, beautiful pool, helpfull staff”
very nice pool, helpfull and friendly staff the hotel is far from the nice beaches, it is recommended to hire a scooter. The room was small but ok. With a scooter it is easy to get to very beautiful restaurants and beaches
Prince was ok, although the Indah is not in good condition”
Positive: cheap, close to the beach, breakfast was ok regarding the price Negative: rooms are due to the price very simple, so only cold Walter shower, quite unclean, all buildings are very old and shabby
I don't recommend this place. It has a lot of potential to be a really good hotel but it need a lot of maintenance and cleaning!!! DO NOT RENT A MOTORBIKE IN FRONT BECAUSE THEY'LL TRY TO TAKE MONEY FROM YOU WITH SOME EXCUSE ABOUT DAMAGES. We had to defend a women because the guy try to hit her. VERY BAD PEOPLE
Parts of the Kuta Indah are in need of some maintenance however the rooms are spacious, cleaned every day and TV and air conditioner worked fine. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak but always hot water. The pool was clean and a nice addition. For what you pay I think it represents good value
Clean, safe, and comfortable.”
Need little bit maintenance of showerhead.
nice little place could do with freshen up around the place but apart from that great stay thank you
very good place. go for the Superior Room ”
we came here after spending one terrible night down the street at Lombok Holiday hotel, which is a total dump. this place is WAY better, and actually cheaper. the grounds are very nice with lots of open space for kids, with big palm trees. very well-kept and clean. pool is great. breakfast is simple but fine. staff is nice and helpful. we looked at all the rooms, including the bungalows and decided to go for the Superior Room. it's certainly not luxury, but it's comfortable and suited our needs just fine. the hotel is safe and secure, just on the edge of town, but only 5 minutes to the main road by motorbike, where all the restaurants are. you can also easily walk there, if you prefer. Kuta is an awesome little town, friendly people and gorgeous nearby beaches. lots of cool new restaurants opening nearby as well. my criticisms of Kuta Indah are that they charged us 50,000Rp for an extra mattress for our child (way too much) and the wifi is terrible. but hey, that's Lombok!
Worth every penny. I will visit again.”
I have been travelling for almost two years. I try to save money and find affordable places to stay, so that I can keep travelling. This place is great and worth the money. I read a review talking about how this place seems neglected. Sure it is not 100 percent what it once was, but it is still nice. If I were paying $200 USD a night I might complain about one or two little things.... but I am not and this place is worth the cost. The location is good, close to the main strip, lots of restaurants, atms, etc. I personally recommend having a scooter, you can get to everything and everywhere. When you exit the parking lot, turn right and drive less than ten minutes and go visit the Bat Cave. Such an incredible place. You will see it on the right side, but pay attention for the one sign, otherwise you will miss it. If you keep going down this road it will take you to some beautiful beaches. This place was quiet, the pool is nice, the staff was helpful, breakfast was included.
I am sure it was god in the past”
Shares areas poorly maintained. Too many mosquitos a net is cheap and necessary. Good room and bath but the cleaning is very bad., I find a cockroach dead the first day, and other alive the next day. The pool is big but the floor is broken. The tourism information in front of the hotel is not good. The breakfast is good and the staff is lovely. The WiFi is intermittent.
So much potential”
The hotel is much like Kuta itself, a lot of potential but rough around the edges. We had a bungalow for 4 nights & as backpackers it suited us. Plus points: nice clean pool, comfy bed, free breakfast & pleasant staff. Negatives: poor wifi, poor tv signal, and worst shower I've had in a very long time. We rented a scooter from over the road but handed back at the end of the day as we thought we could be vulnerable for a stolen bike scam otherwise. Finally I must mention the staff, some clearly working hard and always pleasant to us, particularly nice guy on reception. However quite often there was a large congregation of them sat somewhere which felt a little intimidating. I can only assume this was the manager and friends?
surfing holiday in kuta lombok”
stayed at kutah indah twice before but had cottage room this time great location just a little away from the main street so in nice and quite and relaxing the staff here are such great people.the large pool is never crowded and is big enough to swim a couple of laps. ive met some fellow surfers here and made some good friends.
Stayed here for 1 night only. The hotel is not bad for a 1 night stay. There is a restaurant right in front of the hotel. The hotel's location is a bit further up from the center of Kuta Beach (probably about 10 minutes of walking) so there are not so many eateries around it unless you walk. It was OK
